S6, Ep 18: East Tennessee Fishing Report with Ellis Ward

Settle in with Marvin Cash as he chats with Ellis Ward for the latest East Tennessee Fly Fishing Report on this episode of The Articulate Fly. Ellis, in high spirits, discusses the subtle signs of spring's arrival. Ellis shares his excitement for the upcoming month of musky fishing before their spawning season, the pursuit of post-spawn browns and the thrill of early smallmouth bass action. He also gives a nod to the dynamic shifts down at the lake, where shad movements dictate the rhythm of the predatory fish. Listener Jeremy tunes in with a question about Ellis's favorite topwater flies for the late spring and early summer, sparking a conversation that covers everything from stripers and lake-run browns to the efficacy of gurglers and the thrill of mouse patterns at twilight. Marvin and Ellis cap off the episode with a reminder for listeners to send in their questions for a chance to win some Articulate Fly swag. Whether you're planning your next fishing adventure or simply dreaming of warmer days, this episode is packed with insights and the infectious energy of a new season on the water.
