S6 Ep. 3: Demented

This week, I’ll introduce you to Elizabeth Cochrane, a young woman who went undercover and posed as someone with mental illness in order to expose abuses within the local asylum. She was an interesting and ambitious young woman who helped a lot of people who had otherwise been forgotten and the time she spent within the asylum changed the way in which it operated in a big way. Shout out to Dave from Mississippi and Megan from Alaska who suggested this topic. Also, additional shout outs to a couple of newcomers to the little Insta network I’m part of. Wassup Wit it Podcast and Ladies Pitch Podcast, two great casts that should get a little sub love. The ODDentity Podcast is brought to you on a weekly basis by host Janine Mercer. The podcast is written, produced, and edited by Janine Mercer (unless otherwise stated), and the music is provided by Garage Band.
