S6 Ep 8 Jeff Ryan

Jeff Ryan has done it all. Toured Europe, shared stages with Annie Clark (St. Vincent), recorded with Lowell Tolhurst and Budgie from Siouxsie & the Banshees, and built a career that stretches from small town Texas to Shepherd's Bush Empire in London. But Dallas has always been home base.In this episode of the Dallas Famous Podcast, Jeff sits down to trace the full arc: how a kid from outside the city found his way into one of Dallas's most respected music communities, what years of touring and high-profile sessions taught him about the craft, and how he's channeling all of it now through Motorcade, Myopic, event production at the State Fair of Texas, and a continued commitment to the local scene that shaped him.If you've ever wanted to understand how Dallas produces world-class talent that rarely gets the national credit it deserves, Jeff Ryan is exactly that story.🎵 Pleasant Grove | Motorcade | Myopic | St. Vincent | Siouxsie & the Banshees | Sarah Jaffe | Midlake | State Fair of Texas | Deep Ellum | Dallas Music Scene🎙️ Dallas Famous Podcast drops new episodes weekly on Deep Ellum Radio and everywhere you listen to podcasts.Jeff Ryan MusicJeff RyanSalim Nourallah - "Unstoppable" Theme Song (All Rights Reserved to Salim Nourallah)Electrik Ants - "Place To Be" Outro Theme (All Rights Reserved to Electrik Ants)Andrew Sherman - Your HostThe Dallas Famous Podcast is supported by the Mullen & Mullen Music Project.
