Dude, last week again, I mentioned it was the first time, and I don't know how long I've been doing the solo show, so it took me back a little bit, trying to get back in the swing of things, so I think it was a good show.
Then I have bad news for you. There will probably be one Saturday that I have a work trip, and I'm not sure if I'm flying on Saturday or something. You know when we talk sometimes here, you know, give me a head soft so you can do your little loose thing and get ready. You gotta tell me, I gotta do my doodle for those.
It's gonna be like in three weeks though. Alright, probably for the Mandalorian finale. Oh, no, no, please, please, please. I think so.

There's been a lot of up and down with the fanbase, so it's kind of interesting to see how these two finales hit.

It's Star Wars news. Star Wars news. What? What a conundrum of a week.
All right, Otty, we're going to start this news. It's a two-parter. So let's go with part one and it's per Jeff's neither. He, I think it was either Monter or Tuesday.
He came out to say thanks for playing, but they know Lindelof is out and his writing partner is out from writing the new Star Wars movie and I freaked out. I did too. Oh, let me get all the names right because I did write it down. Lindelof and Justin Brede dips on are out but Sherman Obaid, Chino is still on board to direct.
And I'll do my part in a little bit. But when you saw this news, did you freak out? I'm not a couple of weeks ago. We talked about people just relax, movie-stake time, productions go up and down.
Just relax. But this kind of, I don't know where. I know we don't curse here, but I freaked out. I freaked out completely.
I was like, what is going on? What's happening? I, I, I have a math teacher. I had a math teacher in high school.
That taught me something very important. Never act when you're angry. Because you're going to say dumb shit. You're going to do some sort of things.
So I just did a tweet. I was soaking it in myself. Very about her because I love Damon Lindelof. I think he's a brilliant creator.
And when I saw that, I was like, nope, I don't like this. And you know, it's her main. She did Miss Marvel, which I'm very excited to see where she goes with a movie. So I haven't seen her previous work.
So I know her for as a smart but I am excited for her too. But I was like, ooh, what is this? And we've been hearing about this for a long, long time. So it's like, where is this going?
I know I'm getting out of myself, but we'll hold that part for later. But I had a good pick me up. Yes, exactly. That's the perfect way to say it.
Dude, I woke up. I think it was Monday. I think I just dropped like a two in the morning, very early, very late. When I turned on social media, that's the first thing I saw was that tweet from yesterday.
I saw that tweet because I don't follow him. It was Lindelof. Yeah. He tweeted out because he was the one I think that first announced that Lindelof was going to be right.
And this was always been very close to this whole kind of production or whatever. Can you say one thing? It's funny how he tweets that out and people freak out and take it as a fact. He says something else and he wrote like he's lying.
Yeah. And I was one of those like, yeah, when what the hell is going on? I didn't even click on the new article that he wrote. I just retweeted what the hell is going on.
Is it April Fool's already? What's going on? I thought the same thing. I thought the exact same thing.
But then like you said, cooler heads prevail. I said, let me read the article. I should have done this first. I clicked on it.
Same thing Lindelof out. But he turned in his first script in February and at the same time, basically, say, thank you. Here it is. I'm done.
The directory is staying and that they already had a new writer on board since a couple weeks ago. Okay. It's not too bad because at least it doesn't mean it's canceled. The directory is still attached.
They already have a writer working on it. This was mid February or early February. So about a month ago, it's okay. We're still on board.
I mean, he keeps saying that this movie is still going to get announced at celebration and we're going to get the title. So I got freaked out, calmed down a little bit. But I'm now like a lot of people are there on Star Wars Twitter saying, oh, not that I'll believe it. But I'll get more excited when we're like a year out and we're just not seeing something more concrete.
This is not the news that I'm not going to touch because I didn't really. But they're going to announce three movies at celebration. No, no, no. It's funny how they take something at this valley and others like, let's be skeptical about this.
Yeah. I don't want to mention it's funny because this is yet another creator that leaves a project that hasn't really been enough. It's really in development still. It's not like he got fired or he left halfway through production.
I think that since we've been hearing about this for so long, we know they've been working on this very hard. They have this writers room and everything. I think that people feel like it's happening again the whole Lord of Miller and Rogue One. And even Andrew was a show who had production.
Yes, a lot of it. And again, we talked about this in Drojo Street, I think. Solo was a messy production. We love that movie.
And I remember, because there was two years or, yeah, I don't think it went for about three or four years since it's gone announced where we finally got it. Two years with nothing between. People are saying this is not going to happen. They just haven't seen anything.
We had the Americans creators working on it. It was going to be a five season show and all of a sudden they get fired. We get Tony Gilles right now. It's not five seasons anymore.
And what's his name? Tuttick. I don't think it's not coming in season one. You have to wait.
And we know how that shows turned out. Yeah. So for me, even though it hasn't been announced since we've heard so much about this, we talked here about how I was supposed to maybe be in the start in the movie because he has history. We lean the law because of what's meant and we're all excited.
I thought this movie was further along. No, just, oh, he's the first draft. I thought it was further on in production. So to hear that the last month, it's like, oh, he's the first draft.
I'm not too happy with this. I'm just going to walk out. What's a big surprise. But reading the article, calm me down a little bit.
But you know, I'm really following your two days later, variety comes and drop like you call. I grew a great pick me up. That Steven Knight from Piki Blinders, the great British and Netflix show is actually the writer that's coming in for Lindeloff and all this good with the world. I'm very happy.
I love to see what Lindeloff was going to do. And hopefully this is just working that same script around, but I'm happy that they got someone of this caliber again. Piki Blinders very, very different from Star Wars. And from its marble for Charming.
So it's very interesting to see where this movie goes. One thing, let's go to a chat for a second. He was sharp because we're so close to Saratian. worried about is this all of them gonna be a shuffle like what we do now so I was afraid to and all of primos mo Tony Gilroy is the savior I should be the name of a mandolin episode the same you don't we have one like that already maybe the rescue the rescue that's probably very by the end of this season but as you were saying Stephen Knight I'm a big picky blinders fan yes and though I haven't watched the last season I mean he I love the character work on that show so hey and that's also a show with phenomenal villains and characters in gray areas so hey if he wants to do a Star Wars why not and I wanted to comment quickly on the three movies thing because I know you don't want to but I do I don't want to because I didn't read the article because I don't want to deal with this it wasn't a John Roker show just neither pump up and was talking about it I just want to say like what if this is indeed a trillity and Damon Lindelof maybe got on board and then I mean something personal happened things changed work changes and all of a sudden he's like I can't commit to 10 years of this and he's like here's my script I left a great writers room we left some great foundation for what this could be but I can't commit myself to this and he leaves and then you got Stephen Knight to pick up the pieces and go on this is if this is the first movie of a trilogy and Lindelof gave a treatment of what this trilogy is going to be and then Stephen I comes in to work on it yes give me that I'm fine with that I don't want three different movies that don't connect and it's gonna be new writers and new directors and we're gonna get this same problem we always get if it's hey here's that we had the treatment for the next trilogy okay I'm good with that announce that if you want but I don't unless one of them is solo to something else I don't know I'm happy I'm gonna say celebration will be very interesting that first day when they do the Lucas in showcase that my other I think I don't know I mentioned that that is a holiday so wait what April 7th is it doesn't be an assento that's a holiday over there green goes there it's a holiday anywhere that they speak Spanish so I'm gonna go to my work as a because of my religious belief I'm not bringing in that's such weird they're important we go that's like the first of January nothing's happening stay home yeah it's weird all right and we then we jumped to another new story that does have to do with movies but it's Star Wars on TV is that the directing duo won all the awards from everything everywhere all at once the Daniels confirmed that they directed one episode of skeleton crew and sure we know nothing about but we already know that the Oscar winning directing and writing duo of everything everywhere at once is gonna be directing one of these episodes all day I haven't seen this movie yet probably one of the few people haven't seen it how do you see this working in Star Wars skeleton crew we don't know too much about we kind of expected might be to a younger crowd because involves these teenagers I need to be rescued but releasing the Mandalorian timeline for the number one world was with the net Daniels working on it with skeleton crew people keep saying that same thing it's all it's same to a younger audience but I honestly think it's it's gonna be very similar to Mandalorian in that sense because it's not like Mandalorian is for adults like pretty kid accessible shorts I would say I'm not really putting that much stock on directing with with TV shows I need to say like more of them working on that for example Bryce style's how we have quite a few episodes she's directed so we kind of see her style but coming into direct one episode shows TV shows are so much about the tone of the showrunners and the writers rather than the directors of course they're just gonna come in and you know give their touches and everything but it's not like a movie that their staple is just like right in there so we'll see I'm excited it's not it doesn't get me like excited but not like over the moon as if they announced a movie with them for example I love that they didn't try to hide it a report came out and the next day they're like yeah we work on it we went there directly one episode that was it thanks don't ask we don't need to talk about this again so we don't have to make a big deal about it yeah so I'm excited I haven't seen the movie I really want to you should I will eventually listen it's not streaming everywhere that I have I gotta rent it it's streaming everywhere every time I'm this close to you can you are again I guess I just love that for you that was an easy one oh watch I know they've done all this stuff I haven't watched again I don't know you know I was gonna let them crew to say to kind of think if they're still my work on it but like you say just one episode someone else wrote it different showrunners John Watts kind of directly went to them and I said they want to come in and work on it so I'll trust what they're doing and hopefully again so the race on the corner so hopefully we get a trailer for Monus or skeleton crew the only thing I sometimes get I'm starting to get with Star Wars it's another first person to say this they usually go to all these hard directors and writers and then if they do one thing that doesn't hit with everyone they kind of oh no okay you're not working you get out here yeah that's a disney thing man yeah they go with marble the time that's really a big studio thing honestly yeah well I wish they I totally agree on yeah like but like one little thing happens and then they reverse course and I talked a little bit about it last week with our Rangers of the New Republic I thought that shows were up going on that way especially last week of Mando they showed us how through even with another actress kind of replaying the role of Caradon or just being a different character instead of saying okay we're not gonna do this and now the book about fame and the lawyer and kind of soft offers a little bit because of it I don't agree with this one well if you were here last week we could have talked about it but that's it for Star Wars news and we're going now to another segment that we like to call Star Wars on TV Star Wars on TV all right hopefully you guys are there because I didn't hear it on my end oh I heard all right all right Otty the Mandalorian episode for the family and before we jump we're not gonna go in chronological order it all has to do with the return of amit best kill them back the saber hand we've been wondering for years who's safe grow go all the theories were out there the saber hand killer and back came out how loud did you scream when you when those doors open and you saw I'm at best so I had the best timing on this because they were saying color and I was like wait I remember that name and I started go look go look what's color and and just as I hit search and look at this TV screen he popped up so I wasn't spoiled on who they were talking about but I was like like if I were looking at my phone I would have gone spoiled so my jaw drop and I could not believe what I was saying it's I it's gonna sound like too exaggerated but for me it was like that close to one look showed up yeah I just couldn't believe this was happening I mean it's same thing I understand what is that close as look showing up because look made sense but seeing him they're more into all the that troopers was kind of eye-opening but you can tell you it's probably look the one as soon as you saw the X-wing you knew it was gonna be look there's no indication that amit best was gonna show up and I made sense also oh 100% I was spoiled like 40% it doesn't matter it's my fault I said I wasn't gonna be I wasn't gonna watch the show till late that night I'm not gonna be on Twitter I went on I went to Facebook or four places oh and the first thing that I think screen rent will suck at everything I think I had those mandala spoilers without context and I just saw a photo a picture of Jojo being and I closed it and I like the bigger but if it's a gun gun I haven't seen a gun gun in live action since the pre-course I'll take a gun gun that's fine and then I went to Twitter just because you know I go from the late from the earliest tweets off so I go backwards and my friend Mao was on the chat she had put oh I'm at best that was something oh my god I'm at best I'm like hmm it's really it's joy you're here what's going on so I thought I think it's not gonna be joy doesn't make sense because she would I say oh look at Jojo so I thought that I'm at best was just one of the mandala on the helmet that we see for the first ten minutes so like okay maybe I didn't catch the voice but when they said Kellar and take him to Kellerer I click oh my god is gonna be him I went open I'm like oh awesome there's so we there's so we that moment where you're like are they gonna really gonna do this like yeah you know I just ended just you know how long this flash I goes for just like Amanda when you see that actually like is it really that excellent can you see I do there do but he was great and so happy for him and I read the interview he did with Star Wars.com when he said that he sees the force as waves it just brings all the high republic element into it but he knows that he can feel the waves coming that's where he knows where to attack and where the blasters he has a great understanding of the force especially the way we're looking at it now was seen in flight all those clone troopers taking Grogo under his wing protecting him getting that weird speeder with the side car of course it was perfect for him and they just saying the temple just burning in the background the jello temple burners they're driving off into that cross and night sky always great to see I again I just I felt like so happy at that moment because here you know he got to do Jedi Temple Challenge which I'm not gonna act like I watched it every week but I just checked out like a two or three episodes that was fun and he was having a blast and he was a teacher right and so here he is popping up I could have sworn that show was set in the high republic but then it's kind of apparently it was and I just made that I don't know but so I was like well this doesn't really make sense but honestly I did not care even if it wasn't high they could have established him as Elsormand's teacher and it's a little bit like I don't care so it would have been great if the droid from Jedi Temple Challenge was a one drive in the ship that would have been pretty cool yeah and the sabers were a different color but again like whatever like it's him him getting that moment you know to be back and I love I would be fine if Darder's back but him showing his face and being like hey hello yeah praise me I truly let it out also fake king because I back in November I just put out a tweet just joking oh now that's no we can see on the circus it'll be great if we get ama dasa scalar and we got him so I'm very happy like you said it makes sense I'm glad it's not a jailer that we know of someone new it's completely attached of any baggage yes we don't need to worry we're they doing this video why didn't weren't they helping over here all this stuff I mean we're still at that territory because we saw who saved their immediately where did they go what did they do where's a calorant during the war he's in Naboo just chilling what I want to know is how which to me I was more interested in who saved them it's how he went from wherever Jedi just saving that we see we saw from the next 30 years he ends up in the hands of these bounty hunters that we find him so I want to be like very old at that time so we'll see I love his fighting style he picked up the at first I thought that he had two lights savers which he had obviously but he picked one off from one of the dead Jedi inside the elevator or that lift I love his fighting style he was very serious he wasn't there making jokes or he's somebody just came to prepare to kick ass and just save Grogo all they all just asked because everyone now has their theories of who sent in a book cruiser who whoa this but maybe was it George or I had my head fight or almost that shit yeah and some people yeah it can be bad she didn't believe that and again was there if she was gonna send a someone to help she would have called and again not someone was never heard of if they want say it's George or whatever okay that's will be kind of fun I don't even want to know he just knew people from now I don't care maybe she did send them and they were like oh this is on my back I'm gonna be coming back so that's like help him I guess yeah but that's just like me no shots I don't think that's important what's important is that Ahmed is back I'm on his back he's not just a background role I mean hey you're your Munkali Marie Flan and worked out it's a very important role he said that he wishes to help his back I'm all on board give me a book give me a call me give me a I don't care give me something do give me a book a 30 that's spent 30 years since that moment to Grogo gets taken and it's the life of Keller and Beck that would be awesome I'll take that and have a bit of course do the audio book for it all right so but most of the episode before we start now we're gonna welcome back to most of the episode at the beginning we're in this planet again with the whole cover this out from five they multiply to like 150 and they're practicing their training they're shooting their blasters at the water no of course that creature wants to video your disrespect and if that's how it at and a great scene I like seeing all the mandala training and then we go to Grogo challenging Ragnar you enjoy this scene watching all the mandala shooting wasting their ammo just shooting the water for no particular reason I'll just throw this like umbrella over the whole episode and I say this in the best way possible if you take out that a flashback this episode was so silly like it was so silly through it at times I felt like I was watching like a power Rangers episode you know the weird monsters and training like again it was a ton of fun I it's been the shortest episode of the season right of the show world 32 minutes total it was pretty short so and I had a ton of fun with it so the mandala training again it was fun to see them like fighting each other which is what we know they like to do the most and this thing Grogo like on the corner just playing with these rocks and then you see their like crabs yeah so I'll say I'm people can say that I'm a hypocrite and I'll take it because episode like this I've criticized the bad bash for I mean two weeks that the tone is very different seems I might be catering to a different type of audience and for the bad bash I said I don't know what they're doing doesn't make sense to me I enjoyed it but I don't know where they're going Mando season three is doing something similar but I've been enjoying it and loving it the first episode and this week's episode have been my favorite the one that don't have anything to do with the Lord just she's a silly adventure I've been the one that enjoyed the most because I think this is where this they show the Mandalorian works better okay Mando and Grogo have a little scene or a little mission that they have to do we get a little bit of lore there's some comedic elements over here and that's kind of it especially that first episode to me was perfect encapsulate what the show the mandala is episode three last week no this one they won previously to me when they're totally different direction which was great but it didn't feel like that it fit the Mando tone this one to me fit perfectly but I understand why a lot of people are having trouble connecting with the season it seems a little bit disjointed every episode that I again to each their own I honestly don't feel that way I don't even think the show has been totally different to what it's been in the past like maybe that's just me like even in previous seasons we've had episodes like for example the believer which goes deep into themes and conversations of literally what do we believe in and why do we believe it and then you have episodes with regulating so I think it's still again this is all I mean if people are having it's just connecting with it like that's each person will engage with it as they will but I think it's been consistent yeah no no no the people in the chat they're good so I also seen people that when the bad batch of those filler episode that people like to say don't come out on fight against what you may say this is really of course you sort of move forward or maybe just character you know this stuff and they've been having issues with the way Mando has been doing this it's same thing I don't know people connect with a little bit different and also wait till the end but let's talk about it a little bit so last week was very this new republic can soft plot 40 minutes very and they're like not 100% very focused just on two people in core sand and the day of night trying to retrieve this whatever so it didn't feel like a Mandalorian but it felt like a lot of people love that the story was moving that way connects with the bad batch it connects with the sequel trilogy all the cloning stuff it makes sense for Star Wars in general and some people like myself at least felt that it didn't match the tone of the Mandalorian the end caps were but not the middle part so now we regressed to all Mando's going back he wants to be part of the covert groggers no they just kind of laying around playing with crafts Bo Katanis now with this call that she hated so much so it's like they're regressing to the first season so it's like I don't know so I don't understand why people don't like that but we're still like halfway towards your so to the point of last episode for me last episode was like hey the second episode basically did what we thought the whole season was a matter of giving you a glimpse until what's coming and for me it's like the Empire of offgadian whatever they have their seeds throughout the republic and something's coming regardless regarding the whole people being like they're going back they're going back to our people like we still have a lot I mean I get very frustrated with these conversations like it's the same thing with the filler the show is not over we don't know where this is going like calm hell down yeah I think and most people that I've seen at least people that I follow with I don't control with the season have said that let's see where it goes right now they're falling behind a little bit let's see where it goes right now just saying all these has been a waste so they're waiting they just frustrated with how it's going I've seen those conversations yeah like well they don't know what they're doing they're out of ideas we're going yeah you know who doesn't know what they're doing who them and alone and covert their own freaking base or whatever you're gonna call it next to the murder river that now is filled with dragons they've been constantly taking their children and they're still there they haven't you see candidates to eat like texting with ours who else you want to the episode ours are like every five minutes texted her like how many kids have been taken and that was me watching the episode like this has happened before wait what and we're still here like oh they always get away pause how many kids have taken I think it was her also don't shoot or he'll kill the kid I don't think I'm killing anyway because they don't it and I to it out kind of I got maybe when you're not here I'm not so here I to it out when that happened both at and didn't wait she got on her ship and went straight after this beast and I said you see both at and to control and she took care of business that's why she's a great leader and she like well maybe the children of the watch are not so good because they've been losing children left and right and they don't know how to answer yeah I think that's right but it was great seeing this dragon in Star Wars I love the design of it was great kind of weird still with a big similar to the total creature it was a good action scene and I think your frozen which means you're probably not here I'm here I'm here I'm here I'm here I'm going to step on the ethernet cable and disconnected sorry oh my goodness did you like that dragon design and the whole thing is you follow him and then come back I mean I got for me was a very silly episode we have to get something to do and you know the dragon design I really didn't pay that much attention to again it was for in the morning so okay cool I did like the baby designs they were like they were very creepy and I'm glad I was watching the episode like man if Cal Kestis was here it would be oh yeah more creatures to kill just slicing those chicken wings so what were your thoughts watching the scene after they find the the layer or the nest and then Boca tangos to the end oh how do we if we don't take our helmets off oh we all find kind of how it's possible no one is looking at you and then you can take it off can we are but okay but then past this like oh you're the leader of this work but you've earned the fire and leave her alone and for some people were like oh she's got the respect of them she's been giving the fire for other people like look at this place or she's just all alone is this really what she wants the what was this scene for you I have a lot of thoughts about Boca ton joining this group and I get I'll mention people I've seen people get angry at this like her but sharing her art but I'm seeing Boca Tada someone who ate we know was like basically depressed on Calabara and just sitting there on her share eating ice cream or something and all of a sudden she's she goes with then because her home gets destroyed we that's I think that's fairly appropriate that she go with a friend if your house burned down I'm sure a friend would come like hey come with me and then you get there and it's a cold and but in her case we know what she has that in the past we know she was a part of that that watch but I think what she's seeing is like I've tried so hard to bring this group together and failed constantly and here's this person the armor who I've been saying she's crazy here's this person then Jaren who I've been saying is crazy for not take for being so caught up on these rules and I just had this epiphany moment seeing him take this baptism and then going down there and seeing the mythosaur like I think it's like I think it's kind of is someone like left a religion and then was like walking down the park and literally saw Jesus or they saw Jesus and they're like what's going on so I think she's very confused honestly I don't I don't think she's made up her mind on what she wants to do and that again we'll talk about that same later but I think that's she's still making up her mind and she's seen for the first time Mandalorians being together helping each other and it's not a part they're not passive it's like so team wanted but they're together that which is more than most Mandalorians can say because they were always like fighting them getting separated so yeah that's basically a little bit what I said last week is that all the people left she came back without the dog saver and they basically said okay you saw her you can't lead us and they just left her took all the ships took everything just left that one droid and a big castle but whatever she saw by itself and the first day she goes amidst the discovered they accept her right away they don't care about her legend the legend of book time what if like her arc is like being like screw it going into the mind of mandala conquering the metasaur and word starts to sprout like there's this girl on mandala or that conquered the metasaur and start coming in and that's how mandala moves forward not going back to the old ways but that paving a new way forward that would be great we saw we had both of it right in a round course so how do you top it book at the right in a meter sorry and I'll be a hundred percent on board same thing I've been going back and forth of who's right who's wrong children they watch we all know that that first is an all this is the way and everything that the armor I'm already was saying it's so cool we love this the book at 10 kmin season 2 we saw having this doubts or maybe it's a cold you can remove your helmet I will kick you out and now season 3 we're like we don't know we don't know where it's gonna a lot of people have any issues because of the cold thing and you just ride the different clothes you can actually take the potato sack off of him and what's down there it's kind of weird no no no the plushy one that I have here it's kind of broken here I just drink no it's okay just give me something else because when he does that flip fighting with Ragnar you know you need to blame when you flip it's so silly it's just throw him I it's literally flipping it's gonna show up but I think that fleet might part of it I don't think it was on a cliffhanger and they get like massively attacked like upon Barnman like nine of a thousand tears and leave it there what happened to Grogo we don't know what happened to then we don't know the only one who's hurt we know who survives Ragnar and then we get like bookable effect in the credits after the credits Ragnar is coming December 2024 the book of Ragnar the book of Ragnar and then we complain when didn't show up halfway through it but I have no idea whether the season is gonna go like we still need that pirate kind of plot to close out we we know that Mufthedon is on the show so we need to see where that goes the main arc with Mando kind of doing his redemption already happened like you said that was episode two but what's gonna happen with Volca time the armor or her belief so there's a lot of open threats out there I don't think again we'll see I don't think that that's okay showing up they might just to connect it with the new series coming out later this year but I don't think that's trying to showing up maybe they at the end is Mufthedon just talking to someone and he kind of says yes Granad middle or whatever and we know that's run on the other end I don't know I enjoyed the season very interested to see the second half I'm imagining a fact of the future part to finale where they get attacked Ragnar survives and then so Kuchosar like oh you're Ragnar yes I have something for you get some letter he's like baby you're survived yeah and that's when the world is in welcome so they can go find him all right so four episodes left of Mandalorian season three so we were very interesting to see how it ends up and hopefully that people have been having some issues with it cannot come back to it I hope I can I'll just say I remember when the first season was coming out I had a lot of issues with it but if I know I was very satisfied I hope people feel that way I say also again I'll say every time I compare my father and Philone especially Philone he knows what he's doing they come back in and hit a home run yeah when you think things are not making sense they'll take that curve and then it makes sense so again we're only halfway one show that's not halfway only has a couple of episode left is the bad batch a couple see I do know my words in English but this week we got tipping point episode 14 all day you said before we started didn't watch the previous episode yeah I watch again people were tweeting about it so basically like I've got the gist of it they find a planet they say there for a while and yeah you don't need they break up with it it's okay yeah see it was ghost they were ghosting scene having talked to in 20 rotations and they reference that in this episode so it's like I kind of feel like they didn't miss anything because they have the same conversation like can we say here should we say yeah that's very similar but we start with Rex and Echo which we were dancing a couple of weeks attacking this imperial ship that's taking this cargo which is actually other clone troopers that we're taking somewhere which we know it's mountains but the clones don't know I'll say and this is not a thing on the bad batch it's just I'm tired of them showing the stone troopers just so ineffective like two clones took out like three-bit battalions of stone troopers inside cross-air is dropped up almost dying and killed like 10 people even flipping or the that before at the beginning they're flipping on the floor with some people looking at them they don't shoot it it's like we know they're bad but come on it's not funny anymore the show needs to happen attack five kill five or stone five not 27 anyway very cool scene we got the return on hot house or everyone's been at you where is that back yeah so that's like all not the first season but most of it is grosser getting terrible great interrogated interrogated by interrogated in therapy I knew the other words not this one interrogation because my notes were different that's why I got tripped up dr. handbook and I don't know if she's a doctor with the way yeah and emiricar which I don't know if she's an assistant another doctor whatever basically saying we'll give you a clean slate we don't care that you kill your commanding officer we need to find clones for snarina and you're gonna help us he quickly knows oh you just want the kid and he's not gonna give them anything what's going on with him love with emiricar I don't know if I've used in the theories online that people think that emiricar is somehow related to omega in some sense so the other doctor that has the goggles the females related to so she's played I think by Tricia Caso Hughes who plays the Queen in episode two she's also from New Zealand the same place that the voice address for omega is she has some connections with Camino similar voice so they're saying that she might have some either they use her DNA to help with jungles DNA to make omega and that's what's gonna help them then to make snoke or that she's right no okay I'll stop right there I don't think either but when I watch parts of it a couple days ago does have a similar voice I hope they don't go this way because he's wrong with you one there's something just find it you know what don't find it just see characters except Hunter that this season they feel like they're propping them all up especially tech which was just like there so I really don't don't think they'll kill him off so I don't think I don't think this show is one that will be killing off some of the main characters let's see some Hunter and Raker what is the ones that's when most time with Omega Raker of course turned with order 66 unit it was for five minutes but it was that surprise her that scare and then Hunter was kidnapped for one episode they have to go save him then this season is being tech echo echo left and we saw how distraught she was so I don't hoping that tech doesn't die but I think he might be in danger just to make us feel more from a guy and hopefully maybe that's actually fine for this season they take anything to do in terms of a world between fandoms but I haven't heard your thoughts on the finale of the last of us what are you thoughts on it's been such a fan again your thoughts on the finale and then those overall as a final the show how did you feel with this for a season I okay so I just quick world between fandoms you guys are fans of John Wick go watch gone for because it is awesome it is a my favorite of the sequels so yeah have you yes I won't go watching on the theater but I watch the first yeah I watch the first two when the second one was on HBO Max my wife and I said I let's watch the first young we people say we loved it and when we've been to second one enjoy the third one it was awesome really hoping that this one is gonna be as good as yours and I fear great things it's phenomenal it's very well made last of us talking about well made things I love the finale I had some issues with the with some changes they made it's not like massive issues but you were talking about it and kind of clicked some things for me so I will mention them so kind of spoilers so in the game the whole cure thing is a pretty sure thing in here it's like a well maybe we can make it and maybe we can so and you with the character of Marlene even though it's a sure thing you kind of learn that she's not happy with this and you find some recordings of her fighting with the doctor like find someone else like she can't be like can't let her die and here we see the relationship with Ellie's mom which we don't get in the show we hear about it but we don't really see it and I did not love Marlene's portrayal in that sense I think they should have shown her struggling with this a little bit more and maybe showing the duality of what Joel and Marlene are saying like yeah I'm willing to break my promise to Anna and basically ruin my mission of protecting this girl for the better good and Joel being like I'm not willing to do that and I kind of think they missed a chance to do that here but that's me just kind of nitpicking Marlene has served her purpose and she's gone regarding the rest I really loved it I loved that scene with them at the Fedra camp where Joel tells her about the gunshot because we don't get that on the show on the game in the game that conversation is a little bit different Joel talks about his wife which we never heard about in the show and it's funny because he's talking about it and he stops suddenly and Ellie looks at him and goes like not yet and he's like not yet so again but I do love that whole you talked about it in first roles how Ellie's quiet one of Joel's like upbeat but again in the game they make it out to be like Ellie is so hell-bent on needing that her oh my god her condition yes her meaning something and in here they don't really touch on that and then that makes in the game the game makes it very clear that what Joel is doing is wrong and I kind of got a little bit grumpy seeing the reaction so if an alley being like Joel was right Joel was right if Joel was right why did he lied to her why didn't he why didn't he say hey Ellie this is what happened they gave me like a 1% chance they had me at gunpoint which was true they basically left me no other choice and I couldn't just he doesn't he doesn't do that he flat out lies to her what happened and again it's he Ellie wouldn't have Ellie would not have wanted him to do that she needed that condition to mean something and he completely took that away from her yeah which is I think the episode prior to that one right when he's there we can just go back we don't need to keep going yeah okay there's there's no halfway with this we we finished what we started and again it I've been living with that for the past ten years it's it's for me it's one of the awesome moments and all storytelling like that one choice just what he does and it's basically a culmination of the whole show that letter Bill left for him yeah I see it over the Joel was right yeah so you're in the camp that Joe was wrong mainly because he didn't turn the truth at the end I just for I think he was wrong I think Ellie again Marlene wasn't giving Elliot's either but I think if they had woken up she would have been like yeah I want to do this but again none of them gave her that show yeah choice so this is the thing about the story all the characters are complex none of them are good I've been mentioning it really and Joe do horrible things and here it is this is what I was referring to yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I just said I'm not gonna repeat every time said last week but I said I understand if I'm just watching this show saying no kind of the greater good is more important but also seen it as a parent you at that point you don't care you only care about your family and so I'm like like I'm ready to say of course Joe was right well don't the same thing that doesn't mean it was the correct thing to do and also for me I think I think they missed a little bit in here with this this is not an act of love this is a very selfish act what those process is like why does everyone get to be happy at my cost why does everyone get to benefit from Ellie except me like no and again just again it's very minor I love the episode when I came out just thinking about it and having replayed the game I'm like I wish they would have tuned that a little bit better but it was fine I'm very excited for a season two though things are gonna happen and there's like this thing they repeat you can't stop this and oh boy you can't stop it all right I've been trying to keep away I've seen a lot of people kind of oh spoiler is for season two but these happens in the second game I like no I gotta say I want to go fresh again I will mention if you're very curious don't watch the cutscenes please big part of that story of both games actually is the moment to moment in the game when you're playing not in the cutscenes they have conversations and things it's always awesome for example the giraffe scene in the game is not a cutscene that's something you actually play so you would have missed that but watch the trailers for the second game especially that first teaser trailer no no plot points all vibes it just gives you a sense of what's coming and the second game great did a great job marketing the game because of how it's structured like if they gave some things away it wouldn't have worked so I'd say that watching the trailers is safe and gives you any deal but especially that first first first teaser trailer all right we have to check that out regarding the show by the way loved it home run couldn't have asked for anything better just those minor gripes at the end but it's again if you want to know my thoughts self-plug by the way just funny two plugs Jello jackets is back and Ted Lasso is back Ted Lasso is back we've been watching that the yellow jacket I don't have show time so I can't watch it I literally only got it for
