The balance built on hugs. And welcome to another episode of Radio Red only Star Wars podcast. I'm your host, I'm your host, I'm your host, and with us today, as always, it's our co-host, Alti1 Canowie. Alti, how you doing with your, what's that?
Or Solona, Josie? For nil, we won for nil. So, yeah, we're here, we're just watching the NFL Draft. This weekend is all about the NFL Draft.
What's the other type of football? It's the only type of football, don't worry about it, it's not your football. So, they see players from college to go to the pros. Oh that's not a weird thing where they have pigs, and you pick them up here.
I want that, that's so weird. Yeah, it's very weird. Anyway, we're here to talk Star Wars. No, no, that's like a very socialist way of handling capitalist sports.
Yes, if I'm not to talk about the combine, when they bring all these young players into a field, and judge them based on how far they can throw, how long they can jump, how much weight they can lift, and yes, and then give them grades, and then people pay. So, you're playing on their team and giving millions of dollars, and they're in fire if you don't do extra amount of touch on them. The US is a weird place. All right, Alti's been a week, more than a week, it feels weird.
It feels like a long time, but you know, if you're checking in on us, it's the same thing. I was telling you, for the school show, I wasn't here when we did our episode, so I usually set up like at 440, and I went to, okay, let me go to the office, and everything. I was like, wait, where are my things? Where's my laptop?
I found the laptop, where's the charger? I don't know, where's the mic? It was the whole thing. Yeah, yeah.
One of a few times I was here before you. Yeah, yeah. All right, like I just read a couple minutes ago, there's thunderstorms, you're in tornado watch, so hopefully connection doesn't crap out, but... Let's hope so the day is not pretty here, so...
Yeah, all right, Alti, before we jump into all our talks for today, did I survive or came out? I know you're playing it, you're enjoying it. I'm having a ton of fun. It feels like riding a bike, jumping away, and it's the same, but different, and it's pretty cool.
I'm still in the very early stages of the game, so I've already been spoiled, and you know, minor things that I just wish I would have played myself, but again, it's been a ton of fun. I just want to say, it starts out, it has one of my favorite Star Wars intro, just drops you into the middle of an adventure, and like, wait, what's going on? Where are these people, what's wrong with Cal, like, figure it out, it's a very Star Wars thing, it was pretty cool. Yeah, everything I read online so far, people are loving the game, I'll say I don't have it, maybe in the future I'll get it, but everyone seems to love it, but I said it's the thing we Star Wars on, social media, a lot of people have been spoiled already, the story has been spoiled, so I'm sorry for those of that.
I will say, we knew there was going to be a High Republic angle to it, surprised how prominent the High Republic is. Yeah, so that's all, since I haven't played it, I didn't play the first one, I don't care about this spoiler, so everything that's tagged as spoilers, I'm checking, I'm clicking it to open the images, and I saw one thing, a description of something High Republic, and I'm like, hmm, that's interesting, I wonder where this is going, it's interesting. Alright, so guys, I'm gonna say first, thanks to everyone that, it was like about two months ago, something I was here, I was a little down, I said that some of our numbers haven't been too good or whatever, but since then all our Mandalorian recap episodes went crazy compared to our other numbers, they all, I got, I think, one episode over a hundred views, we got two in the High 90s, everything's over 60 views, plus the audio podcast, so thank you for that, that was coming down, to everyone else that joins us week in and week out. The show has been great lately, so I missed them a lot last week, because they were not there, yeah, no, if you do it here last week, we've been like a three hour show, because we still weren't for one hour now, and with that said, if you join us for the first time, thanks for being here, make sure you subscribe for a show, and if you're here just coming back another week, thanks, leave us a comment in the chat, thumbs up, like, notification bell, all those things, and if you're listening later, just leave us a comment down in the comment box, I guess, and if you're listening on the other podcast, thanks and a great and review and all those places where you might hear it, just go ahead and do that.
Let's go to the chat. Yeah, go to the chat real quick. We have Dale, as always. Dale, thanks for being here.
Yeah, Mo's here. Rez is always always. Oh, Mr. Rez, how are you doing, Mr.
Rez, Tony? We also have Amy here. Loving the game so far, awesome. I'm very happy to just to see everyone on the same page.
Yeah, I mean, it's a good start with the game. Yeah, I think it'll be one of our comments. I won't say no, it's one of our comments at the end that people send us. Okay, we also have Brandon on the chat.
Hi, Brandon. Oh, Brandon, we got to talk, and I'm trying to get back on his show at some point soon. Ah, yes, yes. Yes, yes.
Ah, I'm just gonna say last week, I think it was, I made a little tease. I almost dropped the gun. It's dropped the gun. Jump the gun.
Yeah, I got a tease about someone that might be joining us and authoring from the high reparting. I'd like you to mention on following order having connections with high reparting. We're almost there. We're like 90% everything says.
I'm just gonna drop it now. Hopefully it doesn't come back and bite me at the end. But maybe when it's not next Saturday, but the next one, maybe 15, I think it is linear can author of characterism might be here joining us. That's gonna be great and super nervous.
We'll see how that goes. You're still finishing the book. I finished it last week, hopefully I remember everything that happened, but very excited. I know what's for that one.
Willkipi, summaries are a great way to just refer everything. Yeah, yeah. After that was working with the senior editor out there, I think we ran on how Stormholler to hopefully be here a few weeks after Libia can. So that pans out.
It's gonna be very interesting. The next problem, which is already a rebellion. So we just look. Yeah, I still have to send you my questions for Lydia.
And I just want to ask her everything. Like I actually was a doctor. So I'm like, how? Yeah, I know I started writing my questions down.
I got two days ago, probably like 20. I got to get to go. I got to go. I got to go.
I got to go. I got to go. I got to go. I got to go.
Are they directly related to the book? Or are they like? I got to go. I started with related to the book.
And then I started going back to how everything kind of works. And dealing with connecting so many stories and working with so many authors, making sure it connects to phase one, phase two, phase three ideas from this person. So we'll just send me everything. I'm sure some of them will be similar.
We can just mix and match. I pull this closure and you're going to roll your eyes. And I have to like tune myself because we haven't talked about the book. So it's a great opportunity.
But I find it so boring just to be like, oh, where do you get the idea for this? Oh, how did this show come about? So I just want to like drop some weird questions. No, go.
I'll say it won't be so in page 175 when Gillian and I came in with their lights. I don't have that. It's more especially knowing she has a very strong connection to the gray laws, to Axel and to Kalyan. So I want to know how they cannot tie scene with their own kind of personal.
Not personal because I'm not going to get into personal questions. But you know, how was that connection there? And she's one of the interviews I saw before the book came out. She makes a connection, of course, in an action, character like Axel in the cover and all that.
So connecting that with writing a character like him. So it'll be fun. So hopefully next couple of weeks. All right.
I'll take you. Yeah, make sure to be here. Don't be able to make sure to tweet it out a couple hundred times from that. Becomes 100% certain.
All right. How do we start anything else from the chat? Oh, no. They're very excited with the kang.
Amazing. So, yeah. Yeah. Emi's excited.
Gillian, apparently. Thanks, Mo. We'll see. All right.
And with that said, if you guys already, I'm not ready. Let's talk Star Wars and Star Wars news. All right. I told you right before we started because you haven't heard this.
I don't even know if I should call it a news. I mentioned. Go ahead. Jeff Snyder, I think is a good source.
So, I should let me preface. So like I mentioned before we started, my brother came to visit yesterday with two of his sons. So I wasn't online a lot yesterday. So when I logged in, this news had dropped about two hours prior.
So I haven't followed it. So I don't know too much about it. But there's two things that came out. This is from Damon Lindelof.
And you can see the tag. There's Damon Lindelof movie set 60 year post. There's a skywalker. I'm going to get to that in a second.
But Damon Lindelof was doing promotion for another TV show. I think that he's doing that's coming out soon. And he was asked about Star Wars. And he mentioned that he had worked on the script and all that.
But he said something like, yeah, I was in Star Wars and then I was let go. Or then I wasn't in it anymore. You cannot see that he was fired or let go like he said. Which is something that we don't hear a lot about from Star Wars directors or writers that have all these differences and don't finish up the production.
So it's kind of interesting for him to already be talking about this. But then this dropped from Jeff Snyder, like you mentioned his podcast, I believe it was with John Rourke, I believe the Hot Mike podcast. Saying that the Star Wars movie that he was writing was set 60 years after the rise of Skywalker. Ray was still going to be there.
But it was going to be played by Helen Mirren. And my mind exploded for a couple of minutes. I'll tell you these five minutes before we started going live. What are your thoughts on first Lindelof?
Can I mention it or suggestion that he was fired basically and then this new dropping? I'm not surprised. Damon Lindelof talked about it. Damon Lindelof has been in this industry for a long time.
He's done a bunch of things. And you know, this is how the industry works. You pitch a project. You say, OK, write a script.
You present a script. We don't like the idea. We're letting you go. You know, it is what it is.
And that's the nature of this business. And he's someone who is like, I'm betting he's not the first time this has happened to him. So yeah, again, and I did read those comments. I don't think he was like salty about it or anything.
He was just like, yeah, no, it happened. I'm sure he doesn't want to be on Lucas Williams or Disney's bad side because. I think he said that he would be back in the night of he would love to try it again or something like that. Yeah, no, I'm sure that Lucas Wilma or Disney or whatever would love to collaborate with him in some other project.
So good to see, you know, no bridges burn apparently regarding the project. OK, so I'm going to take this as pretty accurate because I remember when Deaf Snyder said that they were announcing three movies. Everyone was like three movies. Come on.
They can't even make one and boom. Three movies got. So I'm glad they didn't go with this area. I love the character of Ray.
I would have been excited to see like an actress like Helen Maven play Ray 60 years after she almost being 90. But I always say Daisy Ridley is right there. Like I'm not half her during the project. I'm wondering if this was like a very early version of this and maybe they were like, Hey, baby, like we have the sacrifice.
She's willing to come back. Yeah, let's do one lobster and he's like, no, I don't want to do that. So I don't know. But yeah, I'm kind of glad this is the direction they went with.
Yeah, I mean, that was my being the first draft, right? We know we all know this goes through different stages. I'm working at something at work. I'm already on my third draft.
Yeah. So it's maybe the first draft and they said, maybe we need to negotiate this point. And maybe he wasn't willing to. Hello, Miran, Oscar winner, Dame, Helen Miran, I should say tremendous actress.
So in that point, it's like, oh, having her in Star Wars might be interesting. I'll be right back. You'll take her phone call right in the middle of the show. Well, that's fine.
But if you're going to be telling me not telling the story of Ray by bringing Ray back for the first time after five years since we saw her last in Rasso Skywalker, it has to be Daisy Ridley. I understand if we've gone in three more movies with Ray and then now they want to move forward and bring another actor that's fine. I always said, I'm OK with recasting. If that's the way to go, this is the aging and CDI.
That's obviously kind of weird. We've been doing a movie right after the Rasso Skywalker following Daisy Ridley and the new Jedi Order. And she tried to rebuild it with new Jedi students. It has to be there to read it.
If they announce a new Star Wars movie starring Ray Skywalker and it's not Daisy, that would be extremely weird and something that I'm not on board at the moment. If for some reason, let's say they do this movie and then five years from now, they want to see what happened six years or four years afterwards, then OK, then I'll be more on board. But today, right now, I don't know, feels kind of off. But I got to say first, draft of the story.
They've taken some of it, as we know, since you're back. So yeah, basically, I don't know if you heard about saying that to make the first movie, again, the first movie after Rasso Skywalker starring Ray Skywalker and not being Daisy Ridley, just feels wrong. If it's in 15 years and they're being three movies with Ray and they want to, OK, let's move this story forward, understand the recasting. But to do it now, it just doesn't feel like the invite moment to do that.
I'm a star warshow, so I would have probably just been like, OK, that's interesting. Because I said a billion times, I loved Aiden the Note. But I kind of think it would have been the same thing if they announced episode seven. And we're like, oh my god, the actors are coming back like, no, we're recasting.
Oh, yeah. And it's like, OK, they're right there. OK, sure. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. And I said, and I had a very successful Twitter post the other day about recasting, having some fore, not recasting, but bringing back all the names, right, to play more hands and fore post return of the agenda. Most people were positive in that post.
So I'm not too much. But that's fine. Oh, yeah. Dumb, dumb.
Yeah. I mean, someone called me a Disney Tard today for putting something above it. But I didn't even understand that one. That's kind of like a play on the Tard, I think.
Yeah, probably. But I'm like, whatever. So I'm not against recasting, but at this point, recasting Ray to go 60 years in the future. I don't know.
That's not the play for me. Yeah, no. It would have been, I think it's a little bit different because if you recast Ray, things are really still like very young. So she could come back later on and it'll be like, it'll be weird because it'll be like the sandwich where you know where her story would go.
And I kind of like they say really having that, again, she's not writing the character, but having that freedom of taking the character into the direction she likes. Yeah. So, I don't think we talked about this one the movie was an out. Do you think this is going to be episode 10?
Or is it going to be something different? I don't think it'll be labeled episode 10, honestly. I kind of wish it was, but I'm fine if it's not. Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know yet where I fall. I don't know what's going to happen with that one. The thing is if you do episode 10, it would automatically be episode 10, 11, 12, which I would be fine with, but I don't know if, for example, in order to bring back John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, it's an easier sell if hey, just come to this one and we'll see what happens. So I wouldn't be surprised though if they did like episode 10, 11, 12 not labeling that.
And then when episode 12 comes out, they like rename all of them. It don't be like a very Star Wars thing though. Yeah, like a new hope, right? It's not a war.
It's another new hope episode four. That'll be fun. Last movie, actually, 12. And we're going to really release all of them.
I love most common. No, Daisy was interesting. It's a weird take. Yeah.
We didn't talk about it. I think it was last week talks that John Boyega might come back, which to me makes sense. But it's very interesting how all of them, except crazy, were like, I'm not ever. If I need money and they're like, no, I would definitely come back if this, you know, I've just got this good and I like that I'm coming back.
And I signed two years ago. I just can't say anything. Yeah. All right.
So again, more than him coming back, I want him to want to come back. Oh, of course. And I think he wouldn't just do it for the money. I think the body has an stance on a place right now that he comes back to because he really wants to.
Yeah, no, and his comments, I think, were very clear on he wanted more of the characters. So if he's coming back, I'm very excited to see what they're going to do with it. Yeah. All right.
So from here, we jump to our second news story. And this is something I blew up again last week on social media. And he's supposedly not supposedly some comments from Tamura Morrison. So let's go ahead.
So he was at the Supernova Comic Con and Gaming Gaming Convention in Australia. Django and Boa Effect actor had some choice words for Dean Jaren showing up in the book of Boa Effect. And I'll say before I read, as I say with your book at hand post back there, I haven't seen any video of this. I just see what people tweeted out.
So I don't know his intentions behind it, how serious this was. We know he's a very fun person and this might have all been ingest. So he says, well, that Mando guy stole a few chapters of my book. It was painful watching him turn up with some black new little sword and the way he turned up in my book of Boa Effect, he just destroyed everybody.
I'm sure this guy is ruining my show, but I couldn't say anything. I'm not the writer. So I have to bear it, I guess. And he also had some other comments regarding Boa Effect not showing up in Mando season three, saying I was supposed to be in the Mandalorian season three, but nobody rang me.
I was waiting for the phone call in New Zealand waiting and waiting to give up. So Otty, I'm sure you saw all this blowing up early last week or early this week, I should say. And people on Twitter, it was funny to me because this was even a hashtag that when I bring back Boa Effect, the people behind it were the people that didn't like the book of Boa Effect. And for some reason, they wanted to bring the character back, which to me, that was the funniest part.
But when you read this, knowing the more and more that he jokes, we also had a celebration last year, do you think this was just plain, having fun with it? Or do you think there was something more behind it from his words, which I know we're just speculating right now? So FCY said on a score four goals today. And a 15 year old kid, 15 years old, I thought David, he's the youngest player to ever wear this shirt.
And I was very happy to see he almost scored a goal. He didn't score a goal. And he almost gave an assist, but didn't happen. So that had me very excited.
I think it's more interesting that what we were talking about regarding Tamara Morrison, but I'll get back to the topic. I think it was Lauren, who tweeted this out, I totally agree. Is there like, you mentioned that there's no video or audio of this, which I would like to see because all I'm seeing about this is just a screenshot of an article or something, but I haven't seen the actual thing. I don't know.
So did this happen? Knowing how he likes to joke? Yeah, probably he said something like this. Was he salty?
No, I haven't heard him talk. For me, this is like a non-story. I'm very sure he's going to come back at some point because we know all these stories are going somewhere. I'm just tired of people contradicting themselves.
Whenever Lucasfilm fires someone for not being on board with a vision, they just need to let the creators do their job or do what they want to do. And when creators do what they want to do or do their jobs, they're disrespecting the other person or they're disrespecting fans. I'm just tired. I don't want to talk about this.
Yeah, it's like when Mandalorian started and everyone was so hyped to say, oh, this is just like we were kids playing back in the backyard sandbox. And now everyone hates. Oh, it's just actual figures in the backyard. Three years ago, this was the greatest thing ever.
And now people hate it. So I understand what he's saying with this back and forth that people say. When I saw the hashtag trending, not trending or whatever, a lot of people behind it are people that have been very negative and very against the book of both of it and the way that both of it was portrayed. I don't know why they're behind this in terms of bringing both of it back.
If they think, okay, we're going to bring him back and it's going to be the bad as you guys want it. So I don't know why they want. They want him back. So they have something to complain about.
Of course. And some of the other things that I guess people saying, oh, the way he's talking about Lucas film, now they won't bring him back just because of those comments. And then other people saying, oh, if they don't bring him back because of those comments, then Lucas is a follow because he's entitled to say why he says, people already creating this narrative, this drama behind the scenes because of something that we don't know is happening. It's not happening.
They're just creating it. And for those two or three days, it was craziness on Twitter just because of what people are disrespecting the more amorism. Like I love Boba Fett. You guys all know it.
This is, and I love Tamora Morrison. They gave him like a three episode cameo, let's say, in Mando season two, gave him his own show plus an appearance that he can always show as a clone trooper. So how is Lucas from disrespecting Tamora Morrison by doing a season two or whatever? They gave him a lot of more opportunities with Boba Fett that we never thought was going to happen.
So in that sense, I don't know why people say, oh, he's getting disrespected or they don't know what they're doing with the character and the other side. Look at all the work you just got. But have they confirmed he's not coming back for us? No.
I'm not going to go to the convention. I think I had the quote here. He said an update on season two. Oh, look, we're having a few changes.
We're having a few cutbacks. This is supposed to be what people told him, Morrison. And when you hear that at the other end of the line, it's no good trying to negotiate anymore money. That's what works.
So we'll see what happens. Okay. So we know that there's been, I don't know what I called them cutbacks. But like you said, when I get returned, things slow down a little bit.
So I think that book of often might be a cash roll to this to say, hey, we're not going to to move forward with it right now. But I'm pretty sure that he'll show up, I think the movie or something leading up to, I think he might show up there. Yeah, no, he's a beloved character. He's still like young enough to do it.
So I hope they don't bring him back. I'm pretty sure he'll be back. But those comments make sense to me. Like, yeah, we talked about this and listening plus is bleeding money.
So I'm sure they'll get around. Hi. So again, he's entitled to say anything that he wants. Oh, sure.
He's comments are true. I'm not going to say, Oh, what are you doing? I know some people out there say, Oh, he's biting the hand at face. He shouldn't do this.
And then all the people were defending. No, no, he can say it's what everyone's. No, no, no. I just don't think that this was in.
If he's upset, he's upset. And he can say whatever he wants. It's the same thing. I hate it when the whole John Boyega and people being like, Oh, he's being.
Oh, he's being mad at us. How do you say that? Oh, I'm tired. I'm tired.
I'm tired. I'm tired. It's like, no, dude, like, no, he is not a real person. John Boyega is a real person with real thoughts and real opinions.
So yeah, it's not being thankful for what they say. He got paid for doing the job he did. Yeah. And just going up on said acting what he wants to do in his first time as his own.
Yeah. And I understand when comments like that, oh, they're not being grateful or whatever. And then people say, no, no, he's entitled to say why is that because when I say, how much he hated coming back or whatever, we all laugh. He's right.
But then when John Boyega tomorrow, some people are going to say, oh, you're going to be grateful. They're all entitled to say what they say. But I still don't believe that he was being very serious in terms of criticizing everything to happen. Anything in the chat?
Oh, dear. Well, again, I'm always honest with any comments. When he comes back, I feel all the stuff you guys will say. I don't know.
Michael, I can't. I don't know if any of this how 100% accurate it is. Yeah. He's showing up in a soca.
I hope so. If he's rexing a soca, I'll be over the moon. If he's both and if he's and Cody in a soca, I'll be over the moon. He waited years to come back.
Yeah, no, he did wait a while and he was like, hey, I'm right here. And man, the only took time because of photos contract. I don't know how accurate that is, but it's very possible knowing how these things work. I totally agree that the people are calling it disrespect just because they want something to complain about.
Yeah, 100%. Yeah. All right. So I love some more.
I'm going to be back. Look who's here. My friend is here. Oh, Tony, he's back.
I don't want to catch my joining yesterday. Yeah, really. He hit it. He shouldn't return to the Jedi.
That's what I'm saying. I don't remember him saying that, Tony. He's probably just making things up. Are you saying we turn on the Jedi this weekend?
No. Okay. I'm going with my dad. I call him.
He had that same reaction. I'm like, hey, I want to see him. He's like, nah. And I was like, oh, I'm going tomorrow.
I'm like, well, if you're going, I'm going. See if my kid calls me, then I said yes, but this will be me trying to convince them after I had people over this weekend. I just want to relax tomorrow. I just want to sit back.
Next weekend, if he's still on, then maybe I'll go. All right. So let's jump to another new topic. And this one's, I don't know.
This one is a good one. It's a fun one. This is going from Katie's sake of saying a recent appearance on the Christian Heartloft podcast saying that look at countries, the Big Ten podcast Katie Stackoff said, well, you know, I haven't watched the second of that. But it shows up on my Instagram.
Yeah. Axe, you know, we knew he was supposed to die last year. That was the thing that no one could talk about. There was this moment where he sacrificed himself in that episode.
We shot it in season two. She also added and then they were like, it needs to be then, not him. So then you shoot up her son's death and then they take it out and then there's still a scene left and then everyone's like, where'd they go? And I went back and I watched it.
I'm sure I changed it. I went back to that episode, the errors in season two when they're taking over the light cruiser and then John just goes both of the wall with that terminal detonator, some blows everyone up. Axe wall doesn't show up on the cockpit and the rest of the episode. He was supposed to die in that scene.
And we've been staying here for two years. We're actually, we didn't see him. He was definitely not. He was dead.
I remember that he got interviewed and he was like, hey, why wasn't Axe in the finale? And he's like, oh, I don't think I can tell that sort of like, did something happen? It's like, no, no, they killed him off and they didn't know what to do with him afterwards. And it's so funny because we were talking last week about the season three finale and when the one thing you're going to be there was that you said maybe it was a death and they editing process and I said, dude, if someone died, they're going to tell the actor because they're not something that big is not, people are going to know about it.
And we just found out that this happened last year, whenever season two came out and we didn't know about it. It's so funny. And then he's the hero of season three. Talk about having an arc where your death was shot on the hero of the other finale.
Yeah. Hey, but I'm glad to even kill him off because I thought he was awesome this season. So that way for his action figure. Yeah.
You ordered it? I did, yes. Oh, nice. I got nothing else on this.
I just thought it was funny. All right. So I got a couple of us can use nothing too big. One I think we are already knew about it, but let's double check on it.
So some of us can use nine years post-reibels. So there was an interview with Timothy Sun. He was being interviewed by Clone Web and he says that when we meet Thron in the Soka series, there will be a nine year gap between that series and the end of Star Wars Rebels. So that kind of ties in with the five years after Return of the Day Life with Mandalorian, where it started.
I thought Ahsoka now is going to be like three or four years. So I don't know. I mean, at the end, it really doesn't matter. But they thought it was going to be around this time period nine years.
So it's been nine years since we've seen Ezra. I think we'll be jumping around. I still think we'll be jumping around. I always expected Ahsoka to start before we see her in Mando.
So we'll see. I don't know if you mentioned any of this, but I'm changing things a little bit. Are you expecting Ahsoka? This came up.
I think that same interview. He said that he wants to write more Star Wars stories. He doesn't have to be Thron, but he can always come back and do more Thron. I don't want more Thron books.
I got six back there. I'm done with it. Who was it? Maybe Kono might have been that said a few weeks ago, surprised that there's no Ahsoka time in book coming into it.
Some people I can remember who say maybe they'll do it after the series comes out. I don't know. You know me. I'm done with book Thron.
I can't or with Timothy Sans writing is not my flavor. So hopefully not. If he wants to write something else in Star Wars, I'll give you a shot, but I know that Thron book after Ahsoka we're connecting. I don't know.
Or you guys think. Do you guys want more Thron? I'm more by Timothy Sans. So that's my answer.
I really don't want more Thron. At least for myself. I want to say this. I know a lot of people love Sans and his writing.
You and I are not because Sans. I don't wish he gets to write more because I know he loves. I know he loves the song. I know he loves the song.
I know he loves the song. I know he's saying I have ideas of what could have happened. So I wish they gave him that chance to say that. Even though if the book is it for me.
Yeah. This is right. One. We don't need a trilogy.
Just see me one book. Let's see now. First of all. All right.
And the other Ahsoka news. I think we talked about this already. We knew about it. They feel only speaking with Khmer.
I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
I'm not sure. I'm not sure. They feel only speaking with Khmer. He reiterated that he is the Soul writer or the Ahsoka series and it only makes sense for him to do it by himself as he knows the character better than anyone else.
Yes which I've been very vocal that this is why. I'm not the biggest fan of Ahsoka because Filon is the only one that believes that he is entitled to that character, and I think he needs other voices. I'm not too happy with that comment but then I think about the trailer and I love the trailer so I don't care. I'm not surprised that he's gonna be the Soul writer.
I know you mentioned that for his movie you heard immediately in different writers. I don't know how, I know it's different, because that movie's gonna be that kind of bringing everything together, but how do you take his comments and then just going toward his movie, will he broaden the horizon and bring someone else to help him? I know I suspecting him too. I don't need someone to help him with the story.
I need someone who help him with the script. No, the script as a whole. Andrew loves. Andrew loves.
I know, and that's the thing. And we're going back after I read Chaos Rising, no, I love Chaos Rising. The second one. I love Chaos Rising.
Then I read the second one, I'm like, I don't know. But it's like, I gotta finish it. I gotta finish that trilogy. I'm not gonna leave it.
So if they say, I know it's trilogy, I'm gonna say I won't do it. I dropped off halfway through the second book, because I wasn't having it, but the first one was great. The first melody, I don't know. The first throne, Cannon Book, is my favorite of all six.
And then probably Chaos Rising. Good for you. Going back, I think he could benefit from a better screenwriter, but that's fine. With regards to the immense, man, I don't really mind him being that possessive of that character.
I think it's kind of weird. I've never seen anyone be like that possessive of that character. But hey, man, he created her. He endured all the hate she received when initially coming out.
He literally made her what she is today. So between him and Ashley Eckstein. So hey, I trust him with this. Okay, I don't think there's been a misstep with that character.
All right. Do you think I saw cause you're gonna die at some point? Let's say by the movie. I don't think she'll die in the movie.
But why? Because she's in the sequel trilogy. Yeah. Why wasn't she in the prequels?
Why wasn't she in the sequels? The original. I honestly think Ahsoka is alive in episode nine. I honestly, I honestly think she'll end up being like a mortise god or like a bendo-like creature later on.
Maybe she becomes a cave. I don't know. A force cave. No.
A force straight. Yeah, I'm all right. It's one of those owls. If there's a Star Wars character that's becoming the next force god, it's Ahsoka for sure.
I don't wonder. I don't need her to die. I don't think that if you don't see a killer, I don't think she needs to. Ahsoka's been fighting in wars.
She's like 14 years old. Let her rest. She can say I'm done with this. I just go rest.
The only thing I don't want is her showing up like 150 years into the future and she'd be like, yes, I'm still young. And she's like, yeah, that's the thing. She's like, dude, just let her rest. Let her rest.
She's been in too many wars, maybe she's done with all this stuff. But she said, yeah, that doesn't care. Just I'm getting too old for this crap. I can do all of this.
Yeah. So the only thing just to finish up, like I said, if I read those comments before the trailer came out, I would be very angry. Or not angry, but like really, you're going to, we can't keep doing this. But after the trailer came out, which I love, I'm letting it go.
I'll be okay. I'll show you what you got. Sabine will kill her. That was the work of my words.
Exactly the Sabine show. Yeah, like I don't care. Just burn stuff. Yeah, like with Clone Wars and that's bad bad.
Sabine. Most of the only ways she's dying is if alone is in writing her. Yeah. You know, I hope Filoni dies in a billion years, but when he dies, I hope someone picks up that story and just kills us.
I'll just be just before we get somehow Filoni has returned. Dude, he'll put on his will and send it back to Katikenadi before I die. You got a promise. No one else.
Please. Please. But he said, because there was another article or something talking about writing for the movie, and he said, oh, that he and Fabra are working together to figure out how all the characters are going to kind of work in. Oh, I saw it.
So I think he's not working by himself for the movie at least. And it's the Fabra, over, it's a few sets. Not that Filoni very sort of movie. So it makes sense that they're working together.
All right. I just suspect that the movie will be way more Filoni's thing than Fabra's thing. But again, I think they'll want to come back to the show. So I'll probably stay in line.
Yeah, I'm bringing. I can't believe I just forgot his name. The director, Famuyima. Just making me a great executive producer, he's probably there in the writing room with them.
He's a director of the dessert, though. Yeah. All right. So actually, that does it for our new stuff.
It's not a lot of Star Wars news. A lot of it had to do with Jedi survival coming out. The timelines book came out. We got to comment about that.
We're going to hit in a couple of minutes. And then next week, oh, they know you're not going to be here next week. But we have Star Wars visions coming out on May 4th, along with the young Jedi adventurers. Have you watched the clips, not the clips, the shorts for the young Jedi?
Wait, no. I think I watched the first clip. OK. I just watched the first one.
They just put them on Disney Plus now. So I might just watch them real quick before the first episode comes out next week, which I don't know if it's going to be a 20. No episode 15. I don't know how that series is going to work out.
Yeah, I'll be that day. I'll be flying to Mexico. So I'll probably be downloading them and watching the plane. But Star Wars vision, that's a great thing.
Oh, that got a chance. That's what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
I will give young Jedi adventure a shot. But like we said before, it's not something we're going to be covering here, weekend without. Sesame Street and Star Wars, please. Yes.
And like I said, just give me no ups. Tickling motion, just making him laugh. So you drop. Oh, just a second.
The level. Oh, the level is. Marcia, no, swiping. Marcia, no, swiping.
Yeah. All right. But next week. Yes, Mo.
I'm leaving again. He always does that. It's not a vacation. I have to go to Mexico for a wedding.
I have to write my best man's speech. That's why I've slowed down on kind of on Friday. I was like, I haven't written anything. So I have to work on that.
I'm going to write to Olivia. Well, actually, I don't have the questions for you because I go this. Oh, you'll have them. I'll write them.
No, I know. I know. I've never failed before. I'm made for either a behind the scenes for Mando season three.
We never got one for Andor. Maybe a special loot. Ah, so-cow, that trailer for Skeletum True, or do you think it's your submissions and your adventures? Man, I haven't really thought about this.
It'd be cool if they dropped a Neosoka trailer with Ron. Or just when I was bookable of it, season two. Just when I went off. That'll be the best.
More bikers. So yeah. No. I don't know.
I don't know. Are you expecting anything? I'm not expecting anything. When they did it for last year or the year before, whenever they dropped a 10-minute clip for Andor, did they announce that before?
Or was it the same day drop? I think it was the same day. And people just freaked out when it came out. I can't remember.
Yeah, I don't show. So I'm not expecting anything. But it wouldn't surprise me if they do a little clip for something. Either a clip for Ahsoka or, hey, here's Skeletum True.
Now that, what's his name? Again, Jude Law with his other movie, that Peter Pan and Wendy that just dropped on Disney Plus. I got to watch that next couple of days for my family. Isn't that in the Disney family?
Maybe they'll drop something for Skeletum True. But I'm not expecting. I think nine episodes of Vision is a lot too. Let us have to enjoy this.
