And welcome to another episode of Red and the Real Night Star Wars podcast. Happy host, Alberto Gadadon and Doyan and us as always, it's our friend, our co-host, all T1 can all be all T1, you're doing today. I'm doing good, we're doing unboxing apparently. Ooh, there we go, I gotta put that on the title description so we get like a thousand V which is just a system unboxing.
What have you got there? So it's funny because I have my Vocal Tan Black series. I think it's, I have a bunch of Black series that I haven't taken out of the box and every time someone sees them, they're like, oh, collectors, I don't like, no, I don't think I just have time. Yeah, I take them out of the box.
Everything I have is out of the box. Actually, no, I have, there's two phone calls, I've still in the box, but they're, my brother-in-law gave to my wife and she never opened them, but I haven't here. Over there you see Grogo and there's Woody because I love Toy Story and I believe Toys are not being boxes, so. There you go, you know what they're doing at night.
Yep, there should be the free, the free-to-tobstable. There you go, all right, so if you're doing it all the way for the first time, for being here, don't forget to subscribe to our channel, comment down below if you're watching this later on the replay and like this video. As always, give that thumbs up, subscribe, that bell, all that stuff. We're here every Saturday, but sometimes we do special shows.
Especially with Star Wars Celebration, kind of a roundy corner, you know, we know we'll do some multiple shows, but we'll see. All right, all right, I thought before we start, as the week was leading on, man, we don't have a lot to talk about today. We have, of course, the Bad Batch episode, it was a show when I, 22 minutes, there's some on the Lauren trailer, but there's a few news items that we haven't really touched on since, I guess, last month, and a couple of new things dropped, nothing big, but they're fun to talk about. And a few things happen in Star Wars, we don't have to do with all the 66, filler episodes and all this stuff, so we'll get our- Listen, blossom.
I'm killing. All right, plus your unbox, and I can forget about that. Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm- You're busy. The small guns that they've got.
Oh, no, the sign possible. I do have a black series. Is that the, can I see that again? Is that the one with the old con-re-telemets?
It's the removal helmet. Yeah. It might be the one I have back there. I mean, there's only like, I think there's only like one bulk of ten.
Okay, so it might be the same one. What does that say? Yes. Removal helmet.
Yeah, that's the same one. I have it. Actually, next to Amanda, not a black series man, but- She's awesome. She is.
All right, anyway, if you guys are ready, I'm not ready. Let's stock Star Wars. That was our show. Yeah, let's stock Star Wars and Star Wars news.
Star Wars news. Little brainfighter from- Did you just jumpshot the box or something? Yeah, into another box. Let's go the end of it.
But anyway- I wish you guys could see what I have over here. Maybe someday we'll do a tour of your new space. A cluster of boxes. All right, we don't want to see that.
All right, so the first news we're going to start. I have my notes and my graphics out of place. But okay, also it is. So this came out a couple of weeks ago, a couple of months I would say.
So, supposedly according to the website World of Real, that I said, I don't know anything about this website, but they said that the next Star Wars movie, which is set after the sequel trilogy, and it's written by David Lindelof and Justin Britt Gibson, and directed by Sean Minne, or by Shinoy, will be starting production in April. So we've been talking about how long, okay, well first, were we getting a secret movie in 2020, everyone was saying, a secret movie was coming out. We knew that was not going to happen. But it looks like we're finally, after 2019, we're finally selling, saying Go production on a new Star Wars movie.
Does this track? Do you think that the next Star Wars movie is shooting so soon now in April? And do you think we'll get confirmation in during Star Wars celebration, which is just a couple of weeks before in March? So, I can't, didn't we talk about this like a couple of weeks ago, a little bit about celebration?
A couple of days. Yes. Yeah, so my main theory, like I'm dying on this hill until April, until it doesn't happen. Like, I'm really expecting them to be like, hey, here's Damon Lindelof, and everybody will know why he's there, because of all of us.
And he'll be like, hey guys, so, you know, teasing the movie. And he'll be like, oh, I wish the cast could be here, but or something like that, or maybe they are there, because they're shooting in Pinewood, which isn't London. And I don't know, like, surprise, we're always coming out next year, or 2025, I don't know. So, I don't, I really, really, really, really, really hope this is a celebration they give movie news, because we haven't had any since a lot.
Like, think about it. Last time we got movie news was when we got the Rise of Skywalker trailer and the title drop, but we already knew it was coming out. So, it wasn't really news. We haven't gotten Star Wars movie news in a while.
Yeah, I mean, it's difficult also keeping these on the reps till March, since it happened with Kenobi, right? We all knew we was coming back, and then they made that big thing in celebration. Now look, who's here? Kenobi, are you gonna be playing?
I mean, you wanna be playing? Are we playing? Well, I guess so. It's like, yeah, we knew this already.
So, they didn't have the impact. So, getting these news like two months before celebration, is kind of how they could have waited, but I think it's gonna happen. I just want them to have concrete news, because you know what the paddy Jenkins, they had like this teaser thing that, you know, made it sound like it's happening. And now we don't even know if it's happening, or when it's happening, because I kind of think it is because of the whole Wonder Woman thing.
But yeah, even then that felt so official, and it's not happening anytime soon. Yeah, and the title of the movie, we didn't get a title anything, but you know, Star Wars was there in this 80s kind of graphic. Yeah, so I just want them to be like concrete. Hey, this is the movie, this is the director, this is the writer, and it's coming out this thing.
This thing, yeah. I mean, it makes sense. Like you said, it's been like two Star Wars celebration, at least with no official Star Wars movie news. I know they even, we knew that they had said a couple of years ago that Disney Plus was the focus on the next few years.
And they've established that already. I don't know, I don't, yeah, like five or six shows that we know are gonna be dropping. So yeah, let's get back to the movies. It makes sense to announce on the celebration.
I hope that they announced more than one, but I'm not kind of holding my breath that more than one movie is going to be announced. I'm fine if they just do the one announcement, because it would be awesome if they announced three movies. Yeah, I mean, I just want to go back to the theater on what just Star Wars. By the way, am I lagging or something?
I don't think so. I don't know, I end. What about anyone out there in the chat? Let us know if all this dragon.
I mean, sometimes your takes a little bit on us. Drag side, but not your connections. I'm gonna try something just in case. All right, while you try them, I see what's there.
I know I skipped something. So Brandon is here. Thanks for joining us, Brandon. And Wookie talks.
Hello, mellow yellow. Thanks for joining us. And looks like Brandon also has that dark series or black series, book, attend. So just finishing up with this movie news, a movie rumor, I should say.
Again, it makes sense. Stuck in a lot of Star Wars news, doing celebration, we need it. And then another rumor on this one was from Daniel Richmond. And inside I guess a bunch of these, the point that the film will feature a new set of leads, which is interesting.
We know that supposedly this movie is gonna take place after the sequel trilogy. All the reports said that some of the characters from the sequel movie, sequel trilogy might appear in this in the demo in the love movie. But looks like the leads are gonna be brand new. And supposedly the filmmakers are looking to cast a woman of color as the lead.
And here we go again. Now you're back again for the second time. All right, is that better? You're still there.
You know what I'm gonna, let me see if we can. There's two of me down here. There's two of us. Oh, he didn't show up.
He wasn't sure. Okay, take that and go. Yeah, let me see if I can I just kick him out. Anyway, he's out there.
No, it's better. So, I'll tell you, I don't know if you heard, oh, he's gone. Supposedly this new movie was gonna feature some of the leads or some of the characters from the sequel trilogy. A lot of us got excited what if this really comes back to Jamboyeja, who's gonna come back?
Well, now this other report says that the leads at least of this movie are gonna be brand new and they're focusing on a woman of color for it. Do you think this makes sense? Or is it surprised you that it's gonna be brand new characters? Are you down?
You don't care? You don't care? I have a lot of conspiracy theories because we know that whole mind thing, she's like, oh, no, I was just there for lunch. Yes, yes, you just traveled from London to San Francisco for lunch.
Although she does have that sequel trilogy money. So, yeah. But so for me, it's weird because I'm totally open for at a certain point to be like kind of like how we got with the sequels that we got the sequel trilogy cast passing the torch on to a new generation. But like these movies just happened.
So I don't think you bring Ray Skywalker into a movie just to be a background character. I mean, there's probably a way to do it that works. But right now I'm just like, you're just gonna tease me with Ray with Finn with Poe. Yeah, that would be, yeah.
That's when we talk about, it's taking away from the story. Or everyone's gonna be talking about, oh, you saw Ray? Yeah, and everything else happened in the background. It's like, no, she's gonna take that focus away from me when I was old.
So if you bring her, it has to be for a good role. Not just as, remember what we did three years ago. In a way, like for example, the Rogue Squadron movie, it would make sense to have Poe, even if it's just a cameo because he's in that environment. But if it's like Jedi forcing, like, why wouldn't Ray and Finn be involved?
Like, why? It's a perfectly valid reason, but. Yeah, she burned down the Jedi order and said I'm not doing this anymore, which I'll be fine with. What do you think, speculate, think or hope that this brand new movie, if it's set after the sequel trilogy, I don't know how many years, that's at least five.
What do you think it might, what am I focused on? They might be saying it from the Skywalker's. If I had like a saying this, it's the boring answer, it's episode 10, 11 and 12. Okay.
Cause I want that, I want to see more stories with Ray. I want to see more stories with these characters in this cast. Do you think they might so soon, like you say, it's gonna be like five years, let's say this goes on 24 or five years after Ratsu Skywalker, you think they'll do episode 10 or it's too soon. I think it's too soon.
I think it's too soon, but think about it. I mean, I'll, after it's 10 years after four, so we can. Okay, now, I mean, I would love it. I love this character.
It's 20 after we went to this. Oh, man. It'll be nice. It'll be nice.
You remember when we said the end of the Skywalker's, I got psych, we're back, so now we're returning. It would be like the third time they do that. Cause it's, it's over. No, it's not.
No, it's not. Star Wars. Oh, you remember the, the, the, the box set up the complete saga of the Blu-rays? It's like six movies.
It's complete saga. No, we're back. It's like, well, change it, tell me something about the star wars. Who's there?
Who's there? I don't know. I don't know. So that's a new book coming out.
I think it's Star Wars complete timelines. They should do the whole history. Oh, yeah. In two years, it'll be obsolete.
Why? No, but I, I think the complete character and cyclophilia like those. Yeah. So anyway, I'm going to share with these news that second part that they're looking too high or too high or too high.
I don't mind. Just because we're, depending on what the story's gonna be. I don't care. So just give us a good story.
I knew it. I knew it. Why did it have to be? Again, after 12 movies, we're getting two.
Oh, the third one with a female lead. What is this? SJW. All right.
We, people might take us seriously. Yeah. All right. So I don't think we have much to wait.
Hopefully in March, Star Wars celebration of women show we'll get a more news. No, the movie shoots in April was celebrations is in March, I think. No, I looked it up. It's a Rachel's in April.
If I look any smart, you're gonna be in trouble. Anyway, I think it's the seven of April. All right. Well, you look that up.
It's the seven. All right. Well, my bad. You want to take over the show now?
Eight, nine and 10. Seven, eight, nine, 10. All right. All right.
I looked it up the other day because I was thinking like, can I take the day off to watch it? I was like, wait, they're extending it until Monday? Cause it starts on a Friday. It's Friday to Monday.
That's a lot. That is a lot. Then I do the same thing last time they went to London. I'm gonna do a four days on the bridge.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm not gonna be there. So I'll watch on TV. I was surprised to the amount of people that are going there.
Yes. From our space. Yeah. All of Starbucks, I feel bad.
I mean, you know, you, it's your lifestyle, but I can't afford just to go to London in the middle of April, just for four days. But good on you guys and keep us informed of everything that's happening. So it's second news item. It's more man-to-versalty.
Can you believe it? According to an early statement inside of Daniel Richmond, John Farran, they feel only in the early stages. They go off developing yet another spin off series that will be connected to the man-to-vers and according to the room or down. The Harris.
Well, the working titles on at the moment is Ghost Track 17. Everyone, when knows, oh, it's that ghost. That's what we do with the ghost crew. This is Rebels.
Are you surprised that we're getting yet another episode or series in this man-to-versal? It's gonna be a fourth one. You got to have the man-to-ver, Ahsoka and now whatever this is, Ghost Track 17. I am not surprised.
The man-to-vers is a hit. Everyone likes to complain about it, but everyone loves to watch it or comes out. If we watch it, we're gonna give us more. That's one thing when people, and I know, I'm gonna sound, I don't know, there's a lot of shows getting canceled at the moment.
I always kind of say, well, if more people watch and then they wouldn't get canceled. But I get salty also when shows I like and I watch get canceled. So that's a, but like you said, everyone watches the man-to-versalty. And even if it's, you didn't like Book of All of It, everyone watches it.
And the same with Canowie and Ahsoka and Season 3 and the other one is gonna be the same. Do you think this is gonna be finally kind of that Avengers style, everyone's coming together from all these shows to battle throne or do whatever? I mean, I'm gonna give you a boring answer, maybe. It depends on what happens in Season 3, which I'm still not sure.
I think Season 3 will finally set up the building blocks of what's coming and I hope it does. And if it does, and yeah, probably that's gonna be what that show is, the defenders of- Of Mandalorian arts. Yeah. I never put too much stock into these working titles.
People are not trying to decipher what they mean. Ghost, what is it, Ghost Track 17? I don't know if there's a secret meaning behind it. I don't think there'll be Rebels, and they just put Ghost there like, Ah-ha, we said Ghost, so it's the Rebels crew.
Everyone did this with the SQL Trilogy working titles, I don't know if it was the Diamond and Space Dog or something, like, come on. Yeah, just leave it. I'd like to say, I'm not surprised. Do I wish I'd do something else?
Yes, I think we have enough. I think this also might put a damper on everyone that wanted a second season of Book of Boba Feds or maybe a second season of Canowie. I think there's so many shows down in Mandalorian, but is that all those second seasons might take a step back? But who knows?
I mean, I don't know. Again, people watch it. And for example, someone like my dad, he loves Mandalorian and he's paying attention. And he's not paying attention to any other show.
He watches them because I tell him, hey, Andor's coming out this day. And he's like, oh yeah, check it out. But Mandalorian, he's like, oh, did you see that? Yeah, yeah.
I mean, sorry, he's on the show today, during Monday Night Football, because everyone was going to watch it. Including you, who apparently hates American football. We'll wait, we'll get to that soon. And that's a prize.
And I'm not surprised that they keep adding to this Mandover. This is where no more Star Wars is going, but they hit it big with the first one. So it makes sense to kind of keep expanding that way. So I don't mind.
Like you said, let's see where it goes. And if it's the combination of all these three series, then it makes sense to do a bigger one and not. Mando season four is where everything comes together. They have their own separate one.
But you know what, I'm very interested to see what's going to happen with Disney Plus. Because I didn't know if you saw this, that they lost like $1.5 billion on Disney Plus. So I saw kind of a news headline or something of what's the future of Disney Plus and I looked like something like that, but I didn't click on it. So I'm a believer that streaming services are going to tank you.
I don't know, maybe in 10 years. But I don't know if their whole commitment of, we're going to commit to Star Wars on Disney Plus. It's going to pan out like as they thought it was. And I really think they're going to shift to more of a film direction.
Kind of the reason they brought iGRABAC, I think just because of that. But we'll see. We'll see. We'll see.
I don't get into all the business side of it. But it's important because it ends up dictating where things are going to go. Like we can get all very with the creative side, but at the end of the day, they're checking the numbers and see what we're doing. I mean, everything is that's when people complain, oh, you're just consuming, they're just, they're buying more toys.
It's a business. And they do stuff. It's a way buy it and watch it and talk about it. So it makes sense that if it's not making money, they're going to do changes.
So we'll see. And I agree. I mean, I love streaming, but now every little thing has its own streaming service and it's impossible to keep up with every so. And what's supposed to kill cable and it became cable?
Yes. Unfortunately, all the cable places and all the networks. Oh, wait a minute. Let me just put a little plus sign on next to our name and show us five bucks a month and are you paying more?
Anyway, all right. So this, I wasn't even going to cover this. So you know what, let's go. It's a fun story.
And it's also do with two shows that we're talking about today. Our friend, no, I said, I don't know this guy. It's our friend. Why were we not going to cover this?
Ah, it was like, but Gabriel Luna. Yeah, right now kind of no more for the last of us. He was also played. He played ghost writer in for the name, this Marvel show, Agents of Shield and Terminator.
He was in the last Terminator movie as a Terminator, which I haven't seen, but he's a great actor. Seems to be a cool person and doing an interview. During a recent appearance on the last of POTS, I told Gabriel Luna said he has spoken with Dave Falon about wanting to play Ezra Bridget of all people. And also profess his love for the Harry Pollack in particular, Elsa Mann.
So there's like three things here. Gabriel Luna, I start with a friend, which I know just a friend, you know what's the movie's going on? He's talking about Rebels. He's talking about the Harry Pollack.
He's talking about Elsa Mann. Name dropping characters. Let's start right there. Elsa Mann, you've said it before.
Elsa Mann is Hispanic, it's Latino, and now we get this. I've been saying it since I remember it. Maggie was the first person I had on my podcast and I was reading High Republic. I remember talking to her and we were talking, I told her like, oh, for me, Elsa is Latino.
Like, I remember saying that. So ever since I started to read that book, I've been, and my person has been, I can say, I'm not. But we just got a guy who was in a high profile HBO show and getting a little bit ahead of myself. But Tommy is going to be very prominent in what's going to be season two and probably season three of The Last of Us.
So we got a guy who's going to, come on, he's going to be a big deal in this story. In a high profile HBO show, name dropping Elsa Mann in interviews. Like, what the hell? What was your reaction when you heard it?
I don't believe it. I saw a tweet. No, I saw a headline like, oh, he wants to play a high. I'm like, he probably didn't say he wanted to play.
So I could click play. And I'm like, he said the name. You know who I can row is. Yeah.
It came out of left field. I don't know. I saw a tweet and I think it was a video also. And I can't remember.
I think it was something, oh, he reads the Harry public. He professors his love for Harry Potter. So let me click on it. And he starts talking about Ezra Bridger even before he knew that he was coming out in the ASOCA show that the Cote de Filoni, people just have De Filoni's number for some reason.
And try to want it to play Ezra Bridger. He said he connects with Ezra Bridger in different points. And they said, yeah, I'm reading the Harry public and there's one character there that I really like. But what am I going to jump in?
No, no, which guy else I'm at? I was like, oh, man, he knows. He cried when Selen Geos likes Abraham to Elsa. Like we did.
And you look at his face and he's kind of passionate about it. He's like, no, I don't want to say it. Because I don't want to say it. I'm like, what are you going to say?
I'm out of the end. It was not. It was out of left field because everyone that you asked, you want to be star wars? Sure.
It's like great franchise. So I was, yeah, I was always when I was little. But to go into this progression, yeah, I love so I was like, oh, I connect with Ezra Bridger's story. Harry Pollock also reminds like, he's one of us.
He's out. And like you said, he's right now in probably the biggest show, even if there's only one episode, the biggest show out there right now. So he has a little bit of power that hopefully look as we listen to him. Maybe Harry Pollock after the acolyte, we can do something.
So I give this a fun story. Nothing really took over here in terms of. I mean, I was waiting for people like, I got a little set to play. Hi, Republic character.
I mean, I'm sure there's a few out there. There's a few out there. All right, so let's jump. I just hope that this show that I was gives the high profile to maybe have a look at film be like, hey, what are you doing next?
Yeah. I mean, bring it on. And then our final news, we just came out yesterday, was that supposedly, Lois Milkerson, speaking with express.co.uk says, he was an approach for live action thrown. And I had to put Bo Goolett out there because, Lois Bo Goolett will know the truth.
Do you believe anything that came out of Lois Milkerson's mouth says, he was an approach. I see doing, like you said, Andrew Garfield. I was looking up our conversation. And it wasn't Spanish.
So sorry. But I literally wrote like, yes, yes. And Andrew Garfield was not in our home. So that's my thought.
Like he is. And Qui-Gon did was an Incanoe, right? Unless they're doing a Matt Smith thing, where they cast him. And they're like, no, he was never going to.
Yeah. And it makes sense. I've been one that I've never said, I'll just cast the voice actor as the live action. Because to me, it doesn't always make sense.
They don't resemble the character. I'm not an actor. I'm not going to say that the voice actors can't do live action on acting. But a lot of times they won't go that road.
They'll go with an actor that's been in the profession before. But Lars Mickelson is an accomplished actor, voice actor, plus in movies and TV shows. So it makes sense to bring him on. So to me, this is a deflection.
Because we haven't seen Thrawn, they like even these things on the rap event. Like we all know that Thrawn is going to appear in the SoCal show. I don't think it's been confirmed that Thrawn is going to be there. But we all know he's going to be there.
So I think this is just going to be like a big surprise. But he'll be there. Maybe in celebration, if we get an SoCal trailer, they're announcing or something. Yeah.
That was it. I have no doubt he's going to be thrown. I have no doubt that he's going to be thrown. Yeah.
Me neither. So hopefully in a couple of months, we'll find that out. All right. Scott to our others.
What's Robert was saying? You hear actors say all the time they are in front of something. And I roll my eyes. But when they drop that, we get all excited.
He's one of us. Yeah. Because sometimes when they say this actor wants to play this role. Yeah, it's their job.
Of course, they want to play whatever role for him. That's what I say. When I saw him, I just saw he was going to be like, you know, they're doing other things. In fact, the high republic.
And that's what I was. Yeah. Not the main role. And also a man, which is not the main character.
We know him. But not a lot of people out there. You're not reading every high republic book. You might not know how important he is.
He's like the main character, but not in an obvious way. Yeah. Like Stell and Jios was that poster boy. Like he is in the books.
But on all the promotions, Stell and Jios, and he didn't show up till about four books into it. He wasn't coming again. Yeah. All right.
So let's go now to what's happening on TV. And the second we called Star Wars on TV. Star Wars on TV. Star Wars on TV.
And we'll keep going with this as a news, I guess. But it's a Mandalorian season three trailer. Finally dropped last week. Or actually this week because we're still starting the day during the NFL Monday night football between the Dallas Cowboys.
And I forget what they played. Oh, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. My team, one of my teams in Dallas Cowboys was watching that game anyway. Well, the as a Star Wars fan, we saw Twitter.
A lot of people jumping on why we waiting. Just give us a trailer. Why don't you have to see it through football, games, and sports. You were one of these, right?
You were fine watching 22 men line up on a field and get a ball. Listen, listen, listen, listen. I don't mind them. They doing the whole American football.
Like Star Wars is a very, very American franchise. And it makes sense to drop it during a big American event. But I hate football. I hate it.
I don't get it. It always said next to me during Super Bowl parties. And it's like, no, you just don't get it. You have to pay it.
I don't care. So yeah, for me, it's very tedious every time I have to. I don't sit through the game, but I told you my mistake. So I was jumping.
So I watched some soccer after shows. So I was on ESPN. And I was like, oh, let me check where the game is at. And I was like, oh, five minutes.
It's almost the second quarter. It's almost over. And a minute means like, when, apparently, so I was just like, that's where I was like, oh my God. When is it going to end?
Oh my God, the only, they only played for six seconds. Oh my God, the only played for two seconds. Well, you got that two minute warning. You got to use all your time out.
So you want to make sure you score if you're getting the ball back in the second half. So there's a lot of technical things that go. I started to get desperate, but less than learned. I have to put it when 30 seconds are left and probably just have to wait five minutes.
Yes. And then get a little bit of the coverage. And then, OK, now we'll go to a trailer. Oh, you just say, or just think, oh, yeah, there's a new trailer dropping tonight.
And then just click on Twitter or YouTube around 930 over there. I just want to answer one question because Buck was like, then why don't you wait for the trailer to drop a new one? Because I don't want to be refreshing YouTube just waiting for the trailer. You will say, you know what?
That's the same answer that Arisu gave me. Because I don't know if she was trying to do so much. I said, just wait, it'll be on YouTube after that. She said, yeah, but if I'm just going through YouTube, then I'll be progressing.
I don't know what ever if I'm watching the game, I can do all this stuff at the same time. And just when it comes to, OK, you have a point there. And another thing, I like to go to bed early. And I'm like one hour ahead of Eastern time.
So it was pretty late for me. So it's just like, I just want to go to bed. I don't want to wait too morning. All right, I guess we should talk about the trailer.
I know the football game. Although the council's playing tomorrow, like Roberto said here is a big game tomorrow. You're going to make it the 49ers. The eliminators last year, the 49ers bid the Cowboys on the playoffs by a couple of seconds because we bad time management.
So hopefully we'll get our revenge. All I'll say about the Cowboys is beautiful stadium. I've been there. I love that.
I'm not for a game. Just for a second. Oh, I'm sure I'm sure you didn't go to Dallas Cowboys football game. All the 66.
We're going to start right there, Otty. We're getting all the 66 again. Love it or hate it. I love it.
I don't mind. I'm coming to show. I'm done with it. No, I don't care.
Give me all the older 66. It's fine. Oh, man. It's something like, oh, here we go again.
We've seen it 20 times. I don't mind it. I've enjoyed every time that they've given it to us. So I'm okay with it.
But I also understand why people might be getting a little bit tired of it. Do you understand why are you just making sense? I kind of get it. But at certain points, this is a huge moment in Star Wars history.
So I know why we keep coming back here. And I don't know. Maybe every director has any idea from when they saw a revenge as a citizen. We're like, oh, I wonder if something I did this.
So I don't really care. The only thing I'll say because I was a similar response to a lot of people were saying, this is a very important moment in Star Wars history. And for Grogo, it's important for this reason. It was important in Kenobi for this reason.
It's important in rebels for this reason. And then I go to, which I agree, and I don't mind that we keep getting all the 66. Just seeing those dead-eyed, they look awesome. I want to see it.
I think the problem, at least for myself, it's maybe we shouldn't be telling stories in the same time frame or the type of stories that go back to the 66. I give us something new or something different. We don't have to keep drawing from the other 66 well. But with that said...
That's about the point. I will get back to that. But trailer in general, I loved it. I love everything we saw.
I know Grogo was there. Big green baby, which I have my... I'm going to find Don with Grogo a little bit. I see that Rosie chicks that he has over there.
But as soon as he comes on screen, I become a little mess. Oh, there's not baby again. So he gets to me. But I love the trailer.
I was literally that gift of the guy that's just losing his mind, clapping. I was like... When they showed up what we think it's Coruscant, I've heard people say it's probably Hossian Prime. I was shocked.
I was like, oh, we're here. Yeah, and I have a hearing my nose is that Coruscant or Hossian Prime, we don't know. This is after five... I don't know how many years we've been in the Mando very so far.
I said one, at least maybe two. So it's about six or seven years past return of the Jedi. Are they visiting Hossian Prime? Is it at this point the capital?
I know the capital changes in this time period. It goes back and forth in my nose. It makes sense to keep it at Coruscant, which is a place that everyone knows. We just saw Coruscant in Andor.
A very different Coruscant. Yeah, it was Coruscant. And then the Disney Plus version had a Star Destroyer. The third person was checking out.
They were either building it or dismantling it. I'm not sure. But that was cool. Yeah, I'm thinking maybe they just found one.
Or say, hey, we still have one. We got to take it out of here before they destroy it. I mean, what if it's not Hossian? I'm going to get a little bit deep here.
What if it's not Hossian or Coruscant? It's Coruscant City and Correlia shipbuilders. We're back in Correlia. You're not going to tie it back to Solon.
Then I'll get all my hopes off because Alden Andrack is back on Instagram. That's a little mustache now. Who knows? What do you think it's Coruscant?
To your point, I think it's Coruscant because it's familiar to everyone. Yeah. Yeah. Let's see Coruscant again.
Very different from last time. We saw it in Andor. All gray. It was always there in the morning and afternoon.
So we didn't get all the neon lights that we used to. So it still makes sense. It might be Coruscant, but it looks a little bit different. A lot of it had to do with the Injaren tearing Grogu, what it means to be a Mandalorian.
So kind of pushing Grogu to something else. One thing that I hope, and we got a little bit at the end of the trailer with Grogu using the force against that weird creature. Because I say my issue with Grogu in the Mando universe is I think that story is done. I don't want to see the Injaren carrying Grogu every five seconds because the baby can't do anything.
We see him using the force. I want to see Grogu not be as dependent on the Injaren to be able to move around or to protect itself. It's been, I don't know how long with those Skywalker training to be a Jedi. I don't expect him to be swinging his lightsaber like Yoda.
But he doesn't need to be rescued every five seconds. Because I don't want to see that. That's too many. We've seen this for two seasons.
Give me something else. So I hope that we see that a little bit more. Yeah. So I still think we're going to get a little bit of protecting the baby, but I really hope the story shifts.
And it's not. I think we're going to get that because he made up his mind on what he wants to do. So I don't think we're going to have him looking for other dead. I like, oh, this guy was working for someone.
So I don't think it's going to be that. I really hope it's like we already got the Grogu story. Let's go in Mando story and go in his journey. And that's where I get scared that having baby Yoda there is going to hinder that because he's always going to be all going to protect him.
And that's why I want them to be separated that Grogu can protect himself. Oh, he got kicked. Not again. I got to go rescue him.
No, that's the engine going with all these mando issues that he's dealing with. And I think they're going to get separated a couple of times because we see that shot in the trailer with what I call the leveler. But there's also that shot on the first trailer where he's with both at hand. Oh, you didn't think your father was the only Mandalorian.
So I think they're going to be separated a couple of times. Yeah. Especially when he's already made like four mandelorians. But that's off the point.
That's a weird thing to say. That's a weird story. Oh, so another shot that's interesting. So we get mando going to Nevada or meeting with grief cargo and we have another shot of all the other mandelorians that we know work with the armorer with past visa or whatever his name is dropping into Nevada.
And sure enough, are they sent there by the armorer to go find him? Is this past visa last year kind of you beat me for the dark seven coming to get you? Or is this there to help me? I think they're there to find him.
I have no idea, man. At first I was thinking like those were both at X-Men being sent there to maybe get that girl or something. But then we get into the same season one beats. But I thought it was kind of like a war between Din and both at 10.
But then we see them together and past visa in another shot. Then we see. So I don't know what's going on. I really, really don't know what's going on.
Yeah, it's very interesting. I think they did a great job in the trailer using those two shots to put us on that direction or that. I guess windmill of what the hell is going on. So I mean, I say I cannot done with it.
I'm not done with it. I love seeing mandelorians on screen. I love seeing Jedi. I've seen a bunch of mandelorians in full armor.
I'm screening something that I will never grow tired of. That cleans my palate with the whole, I just want to see Jedi on the floor. It's like, man, those are something else. And I'm down for that.
Yeah, it's something. I think episode, I mean season two when Bo-Katan was there with the other two, whatever. I forget their names. Whatever they, yeah, the other two mandelorians.
Axwove and Koska Reeves. There we go. I'm working together as four mandelorians just one scene. Oh, this is great.
I love my Jedi, but this is great. And now it keeps expanding. Yeah, I'll take a little bit more. You're all okay.
You're there. We'll give you all those mandelorians. We're back on Tatooine. No surprise.
For me, it was a surprise. Like you guys left and came back like two seconds later. Do you think? Can this be a wrap up of what we saw in Book of Boba Fett?
So people kind of know what happened and how Grogo came back into the picture. Can it start with them kind of leaving Tatooine? Yeah, maybe. It would make sense.
And but they also, no, I think they're coming back as they leave with our five. So. I'm trying to remember in Book of Boba Fett that last episode after the battle, Dean has Grogo. He has the end one, a bullfighter.
Do we see them leaving? I don't remember. I kind of think so. I kind of think so.
Yeah, because we see him in the little pot thing where the droids are supposed to go. Yeah. Oh, we see them. Oh, they can red-ton it.
That's a red-ton. I don't think it's I think he goes back. I need a droid. Here we go again.
So it came to my only point. Do we do you think we'll get more of those characters from Tatooine like Boba Fett? I hope so. Yeah.
And Ming the Wen and the bikers just to piss everyone off. Only bikers will be freaking awesome. Give me more co-venting. It makes sense for them to have at least one more adventure.
Get them before the big throw-up. Oh, because here. Oh, how you doing? Pretty much.
