Lynn Shollen is Associate Professor of Leadership Studies and department chair in the Department of Leadership and American Studies at Christopher Newport University, a public liberal arts institution in Newport News, Virginia, in the United States. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Higher Education Policy and Administration. Her research interests include identity and the faculty to administrator transition, identity and perceptions of leadership, leadership identities construction, and teaching about women and leadership.   Dr Sam Wilson Senior Lecturer in Leadership in the Department of Management and Marketing at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He is also co-director of the Thriving in Society 4.0 program of the Social Innovation Research Institute and Deputy Director of the Social Psychology of Innovation Research Group, also at Swinburne. He earned his PhD from the University of Melbourne in experimental social psychology. His research interests span psychological studies of the future self to large, national studies of community beliefs about leadership for the greater good in the government, public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
