We spoke about her upbringing with a specific focus on how Tiisetso lost her mom to HIV at a time when there was so much stigma around the disease and how losing her mom lead her into a series of traumatic experiences. Tiisetso’s story is a true testament to her resilience because in the face of adversity she continued to push on academically and actively worked her way out of a life of poverty.
