S6E3 with John Robb
from What Goes Around?
Regular listeners may remember that we had todays guest on the podcast way back in series 4 episode 1 when he came on to talk about his brilliant book about Goth culture, we had a great old chat and I immediately wanted to invite him back for a longer discussion which is why we are delighted to welcome back, Johnny Robb. John is a musician, writer and punk icon who has finally published his Biography 'Punk rock ruined my life (and other stories)', a musical memoir that flits from one amazing musical moment to another with wit and honesty. As a musician he founded The Membranes and later Goldblade, and as a writer he came up with buzzwords that have literally become dictionary staples like 'Brit-Pop' and 'Grunge'. HIs wit and style make him relatable and entertaining and his memoir reflects that on every page. Welcome to the podcast John Robb. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
