This week some trigger warnings to start: racial slurs, violence, abusive behavior – it’s a return to Kubrick this week as we discuss #95 on AFI’s thrills list – Full Metal Jacket. The Vietnam critique is one of the rougher watches, especially in light of current world events, but the filmmaking stands out, as do a couple of iconic performances.
