TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

The bellings built on hooks! And welcome to another episode of Radio Rebellion Star Wars podcast. I'm your host, I'll be your host, I'll be your host, and that guy on that whole side, that's a co-host. That's how the is happy, he's just got a new haircut.

We're here at the show. I just got a new haircut, I just got a new haircut. He's the same one, he's just got a haircut. Star Wars Saturday, so here we are talking about this.

Saya that we know, we love, we hate sometimes. Now we don't hate it, we have our issues with it, but we always come back to it because it's so fun. And it means a lot to us, but, Otee, who will survive, I say your shirt? We don't know what to survive.

We still don't survive. We have no idea. There's a lot of them that are presumed dead. We know about one who survived, it will be one of these stories we'll talk today.

Thank God he's alive. We'll talk about that in a minute. What are they having today Saturday? It's been good, it's a rainy day, I've been playing Spider-Man 2, which has been very fun.

But mostly I've been reading because they're just wearing a hand and red anything. So I powered through the whole book. Hey, I read it, that's not... Hey, that's all that matters.

As long as you make that deadline. Wait, what is it? It's back there somewhere. Right there.

Yeah, I went over... When I put it on my show, it's done. It's done. I usually just keep it somewhere until it's done.

Yeah, I put it on with nightstand. Yeah, so I didn't reread any of them. When I did go back a couple of hours ago, I kind of brushed through a few of them. Because I had my notes, but it's good to have them again, fresh on your mind.

I've heard something else. I forgot them. But we'll get to that in a minute. What's happening in the screen?

Yeah, it's not too bad. I love this one. Same thing, just small stories. I had the little breaks in between.

We'll talk about that in a minute. But if you're watching us today, thanks for being here. If this is your first time watching us, make sure you subscribe to our show. Let us know down in the comments when you think your favorite story from Tell us of Life was and all the new stuff we'll be talking about today.

Make sure you don't forget to read that like thumbs up button. And if you'll listen to this later on the other podcast, make sure to, I mean, thank you. And leave us a rating and review. And if it's not your first time here, you're one of our regulars.

Thanks for always coming back. And listen, I still was rambled for an hour or so. All right, I'll see. I think let's go ahead and start.

You know what? Just in case. I don't know if we'll get to do what between fans. I'm one-flokey.

I was one- It was great episode. Second one. Third one, I'll say it's my least very so far. But it's difficult to compare to the first two because those were so amazing.

But the third one has some very cool stars, especially the second half of it. Well, you'll be happy. You know what I watched yesterday? What did you watch yesterday?

I finally watched Bobby. We watched Bobby yesterday. So you can play with the barbing hammer. I completed the barbing hammer like six months or four months later.

So we'll go. Do you like it? Yeah, I like to talk about it. No, you want to?

We'll talk a little. We'll do something at the end already. I'll be watching another show that ended already. I just started watching it.

So we'll talk about that. We'll get to it. All right, so if you guys already, I'm already next up Star Wars. And we start with Star Wars news.

Star Wars news. I was supposed to, we can't hear you. I know. I was supposed to have on mute myself and I hear it at the same time.

Anyway, so this is something I'll tell you yesterday. I don't have it down as an actual news item. I don't have any graphics for it. Does it not?

It's not new. It's not new. I worry about people coming thing on Star Wars. Yeah, so let's just mention it because it's kind of taken over the conversation online these past few days.

And it's very famous director out there Matthew Vaughn from Keycast and... Love his movie. Yeah, so done a lot of great stuff out there. He was doing an interview.

I don't know where. I don't know if he was asked about Star Wars or he just came out of nowhere. But basically saying that if Lucas came... Even interview, he talked about a lot of things.

A lot of the... I was talking about Tony yesterday. He talked about a lot of things and Star Wars came out. It came out as it happens to a lot of us.

We're just talking about some 10 Star Wars. We'll usually make it into the conversation. But he said that if Lucas Wilma or this and whoever approached him to do anything in Star Wars Universe, he would look to the original trilogy to Luke Hanley, Vader, and just... Reboot the whole thing for a new generation because 1977, everybody's right back then.

It changed lives. Let's do it again. I think Luke has been... That's where they've been having issues with the movies.

TV shows are great. But people keep this on such a high pedestal. I would just reboot it. And as you can imagine, 99.9% of people I've seen online have been saying, what the hell are you talking about?

Get off my internet and don't talk about Star Wars. So don't get close to Star Wars. So let's unpack this a little bit. Because the easy answer could be, yeah, this is not happening.

Let's move on to the next topic. But it's probably what we're gonna say anyways. But when you saw this the first time and yesterday, you say it's for with Tony on your show. What is your...

I'm gonna do your head. I'm gonna use my F-bomb. And you know what, I'll censor it. I'll censor it.

This is clip on Harrison Ford that I constantly... That's him just looking at this guy and saying, Shut up! Up! And that's my reaction to it.

Rather than being just a stupid take, what really rubbed me the wrong way was him being like, why are these characters so sacred? I was like, excuse me. Why? I mean, not watch Star Wars.

Do you not know what Luke did? One of those things, I think it's the way he said it. And kind of the reason behind it. Because to say, why are people putting these characters in such high pedestals?

Dude, this is why this exists, right? Because those characters are... Everyone says it, they're larger, they're not just characters, they're like... Monoliths, almost out there.

There's this thing I've seen recently with some creators that like... Doesn't like Matthew Vaughn want people to like see his characters? Like, it's like he's a little bit nihilist about it. Like there are no such thing as sacred characters.

Like, some fundamentalists agree. And it reminded me a little bit about some comments on Mark Millar. He's a comic book writer who has lately been saying very weird things that I don't agree with. But he was talking about basically these fandom menace sandpoints.

He was saying like, no, like creators should cater to fans. They should. Wow. Like, right what they want.

And I was like, really? That you as a comic book writer who just landed a deal on Netflix? I really think that fans should take what you need. Okay.

It's a very tough position to take. Yeah. I understand that if you're working on movies, writing comic books or whatever, you're trying to sell this product. So of course you want to appease or appeal to a mass audience.

But at the end of the day, it's what we say, and most directors are writers out this. I'm going to write this story that makes sense to me what I want to write. And that's the story I put out there if people connect to it. That's great.

But I do it for myself. Yeah. That's like an okay point of view. People will vote with their wallets like that.

And I totally agree with it. And you have to be fine with it because if people don't like it, they don't like it. But I write it, I should not be thinking like, what do fans want me to write? Yeah.

No. Which I don't agree with, but it's being one of the biggest criticisms of writers. A lot of people say, oh, they just went on Reddit, see what people were complaining about. And then just do them over that way.

I don't agree with that, Taylor. But yeah, if you take that stance or that point of view, when you're trying to write or write, and it's like, it's already set up for a disaster. Oh my god. If that we came out today, people would be saying, day to day in, Terry went to chat GPT and got a script from there.

Yeah. So AI, but going back to Matthew Bond, it's like, I don't agree with a serial person. The star, you shouldn't reboot it. But I'm not one of those, right?

No. One of those people that say, all right, just finish your stuff. I'm just saying, who's the person who's going to be like, yes, I'm the guy who's going to reboot? Star Wars, it's me.

Yes, I'm going to tell a better story than George Lucas. Yes. I'll jump on the firecat, Kathy Kennedy, Ben, why is she ever agrees with that? The thing with Star Wars is, there's only a handful of movies that you can say change, but movies are.

And Star Wars is one of the first that when you ask 75 directors and writers, 60 will say, well, Star Wars was what inspired me to go down this path. And others then try to start this. Others just do it for a new audience. New audience can go watch in 1977, but they don't like it because movies are programmed.

That's fine, but you don't need to. But I'm not one of these people that goes, oh, you can't reboot anything, or you cannot do it for a new audience. I know back in the future is one that's been mentioned, a lot of times that people say, oh, someone wants to review back to the future, and fans don't agree with it. And it's not like, yeah, let's reboot it because I want to see anyone.

But all those movies are still there. A lot of movies that we like now have been rebooted from a real classic movie. So it's almost not the same thing as legends and cannons, like, kind of dealing with race legends, all those legends that are expanding. You know, it's books are still there.

You can still use those as your cannon version if you like. So I can say that way a little bit, like, even if you don't want to reboot, like, let's do another Disney animated movie on live action, which most people don't like, the animated movie is still there. So I say that point, but don't reboot, Star Wars. We don't need that.

That would be the moment that I would probably check out of the hours. And I probably wouldn't be angry. I mean, it probably will be. But I won't be venting online constantly.

It's just that I don't see a point in it. Like, the original trilogy still holds up. And I don't know, like, for me, that would be like the point where Lucas has no more ideas. Yeah.

Let's just do this and start all over again. And that would be for me. That would be 100% catering to a new audience. So that's the moment I'd be like, yeah, this is just not for me, anyway.

Yeah. Let's say if they come out tomorrow and say, you know what? After the three movies that we announce in Star Wars celebration and the shows that we have announced, like, A Soka season two and or whatever, we're done. That's it with Star Wars, we kind of done.

And then in 20 years, it's okay, let's start with Star Wars again. It's 2050. Let's reboot it now. I'll do a new one.

I'll give you that pass. It's been like 80 years since the original. But to do it now, what's the first thing that people say when something's going to be rebooted? Was it going to actually arena?

Was it going to make it better or different? There's nothing to add to a new Star Wars movie. If you're going to try to do a new hope, there's nothing that you can do to make up. I mean, people still say the sequel trilogy wasn't necessary.

They had nothing to a story. Imagine a reboot, like, they were like, no, we're making new hope again. Like, what? Yeah.

Yeah. And then Darda. Yes. I wrote it back to the future.

I was watching it like last weekend. That would be 100% sold. So why would you like, I get the whole thing like, just sit down your kids and put them in the original. It's a fun movie.

Like, be resilient. I don't know. Sometimes my kids will see a movie and say, this is old. I don't want to watch it.

It's like from 1997. I'm like, oh! Don't do it. Yeah.

Well, they used to 4K high definition. Then you put something on the DVD and they're like, what the hell is this? But just kind of restored. Just grab those movies, restore them to 4K and know it will complain.

Quick comment. The X-R-S 4K remastered phenomenon looks like a modern movie. Like, I'm not kidding. They should be able to look at that one.

No, it's true. Yes. Oh, the X-R-S 4K. 25 years since I've watched the X-R-S.

How many years did the other day? I watched it twice in a week. All right. So let's move on to our first official news story of this week.

And it has to do with New York Comic Con. So this past week in Star Wars publishing was at New York Comic Con. We expected this. We talked a little bit about it last week.

Now we're going to set up a couple of minutes to talk about the reveals. So then your books, comics, we were showing that throne and saying, we're going to come back. They're back. But it's not what we expected or hoped.

And on one end, I don't want to say that I'm disappointed or let down. Because we just got up. But I'm trying to if to ease everyone. We got a bunch of stuff announced that we didn't need to.

We weren't expecting a bunch of big stuff. This is still comic Con. We got to remember that this is mainly focused on comics. I know comics are very San Diego.

We're used to now all these big movie announcements and stuff. But a lot of, and I'll go down the list. You know, let me go down the list first. And then we'll start talking about them individually and your thoughts of the whole thing.

So for books, we got a high republic character in Cyclopedia, a little bit of information on the living force, a high republic lightsaber collection. Are you going to buy that? That's the LNGO's lightsaber looks sweet. It looks very, maybe.

When is it coming out? I don't know. That's weird. Next year.

Star Wars Dead jokes by Kelly Knox. You follow her on Twitter. That'll be a good one. And I return on the Jedi Visual Archive.

And then comics, a lot of the high republic comics are lying. We're announced or not announced. Just a continuation of them. A maze window, comic, a dengue Fett comic series.

And then two graphic novels like Rygon, Gene, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. And then an adaptation of Thrawn Alliances. So just your overall thoughts of it. And then we'll go a little bit.

Not maybe not a lot. We'll talk a little bit about them. Fun fact, the Thrawn Alliances book when I heard of it, I thought it was chaos rising. And I was like, oh, that's cool.

And then when I like rechecked out some alliances, I was like, oh. The least favorite. So let's talk about the books first. Or anything else, you want to just overall thoughts when you heard the announcement.

Obviously. That's the one lightsaber. Yeah. I got my 3D printed one, but that blue with a blue blade looks so sick.

It said, follow the lease online and Disney parks. Yeah. Sorry, I was referring to the pre-order. I think it was a tour 29th, but I'm not really sure.

And it's a limited edition. I think there's like 500 or 5000. I can't remember. I don't know why you do just a limited edition for that one.

I mean, maybe they're just waiting to see how it sells out. They're probably like, I was more sure. I wanted, I'm not willing to pay more than 250 for it. Yes, I think this was going to be more than 300.

I think it's going to be over 300. We'll see. We'll see. Yeah.

All right. So this is the one that interested me the most. Also, I have an issue with it. It's the high-republic character encyclopedia.

Oh, that's cool. It's extremely cool. I want to know more the little details of all the characters. The problem is that it comes out at the end of the year before phase three ascended, so it's not going to be up to date.

We're not just waiting till the whole phase is in and then release. So they can sell you an update. I think even in the panel, they said be careful because they're going to be some spoilers for phase three. Just wait.

Why are we doing this now? Wait, yeah, it's the issue of weird. Yeah. Um, I was also from the announcement, honestly, nothing really caught my attention.

Not even the Obi-Wan and Quai-Gon. Yeah. Graphic now was I'll probably get them because it's a Quai-Gon and Obi-Wan. Yeah.

But yeah, other than that, I thought I was a point that I think it's been a while since we got a big announcement on books, like non-hierapolic, which I love hyperpolic, but I'm just seeing what else is out there. Yes, because they had like three different authors out there. Like, okay, there'll be someone else. And they like to tell.

They're like, oh, they're there? Yeah. Things are coming. Yeah.

I really think it's a mistake not announcing anything Timothy's on and throw on. Like, because I guess regardless of what we think of his writing and his books, like, they're all this, they're all this figure right now. Just showed up in live action and we've been wondering what has he done for 10 years. I thought it was like the perfect moment to be like, even if maybe he doesn't have the story like fully touched on me, we'd be like, hey, we greenlit some books, he's gonna be writing them.

I don't know. Yeah. I still think we might get something with the tool then before season two, if Asoka gets greenlit before the movies, that's the nice thing. I think it makes sense.

Like you said, even though we're not the biggest fans, the majority of people hold them in very high esteem. So it kind of makes sense. I think it will be very stupid if nothing gets announced. Like, yeah, then all these on doesn't get to write a new strong book.

Yeah, he's right there. All right. But Carla and Cyclopedia will probably get that one. I wish it can away from everything but maybe we'll, I'll win two face three ends.

And then I'll buy it. Yeah, bottom two. So a little bit of info on the living force and there's a quote and I don't know if that quote is just the author is kind of telling what the story is about, what I've seen, it's about if this is actually what Qui-Gon Jin says, which basically Qui-Gon confronts the Jedi Council and says you people sit around in this room, you don't go out there and they with the people, you're focusing on the cosmic force. Get out, touch grass.

I really hope that Qui-Gon doesn't say go out and touch grass. That too means to- Also. You know it? That's a big guy's door for you.

Sorry? That's like Ben or Paul saying big guy's door and that's just people- No, no, no, big guy's door is fine. I don't care about that. It's, I don't know, but it's too real world that we say online when people are being just ridiculous.

I want some weird stuff going on, it seems like too much. I don't- I don't mind it. I don't mind it. All right.

So let's have a collage. It's just one line in a book. No, I mean by three pages from me, I won't even remember. You'll forget it.

Yeah. The dad jokes won by killing our time interested in, I think that's a good one, especially when family is- See, so I'm posting that joke. It'll be interesting if I don't- I don't know how much of the things that she posts online will make it to the book. Those are just kind of her drafts online and then that book is just completely new.

That's one that I wouldn't mind. Might be a good Christmas gift for people out there. So we'll see. Return of the Jedi visual archive.

I know it's 40 years, but- That one will check out. I like those behind the scenes books. So I'll see why it has to offer them and we'll get it. All right.

Comics, like I mentioned, a lot of high republic comics. High republics, very face to and looks like face to and we have very heavy on the comics so far. Everyone out there does not- And he just announced that they show the cover itself. It seems like, oh, announcements.

Yeah, just the covers. Well, the covers are freaking great. All those- That might go on, like- All of them. All of them.

So, Mace Windu, there is a little extra from it. From it, it says, One of the greatest Jedi most stopped and sent the secret from falling to the wrong hands. Even the years before the Clone Wars, Mace Windu was known for his discipline, determination and combat skills. When a scientist discovery threatens the balance of the galaxy, Mace, it led on a treacherous path of mystery and action.

The series will also introduce Azita Cruz with two youths, a pirate with a deadly secret, who the huts and the republic will stop at nothing to control, written by Mark Bernardin and run by Joyce Gente. Yeah, it's fine. Oh, that's a nice one, the story. Are you one of those, Mace Windu haters?

No, you're inside. It's not your favorite. I like this one. One of the best.

Did I really? So soon. Oh, I like this new person, Azita Cruz. Given some Hispanic, my wife's last name is Cruz.

Also, she's always- I like Cruz, like that Cruz. But with two youths because he's Star Wars. And that's I like that Cruz. There's a lot of other- It's a monster figure or something.

Yeah, but Azita Cruz, I don't mind Mace Windu, but I'm not gonna get this anyway. Then the Django Fett, it's a bounty to fight and mystery to solve, a treaty at risk. All these plus, all are a thing in the mix, be there for Django Fett's brand new mission written by Ethan Sacks, with all by Luke Ross. We really don't learn anything.

Django Fett, we don't have a lot of Django Fett stories. So I'm interested to see what this is going to be about. A lot of people are hoping that this at some point intersects with the Mace Windu comics and then, I guess, ends in Attack of the Clones. But we'll see.

And then- What is intersect with the Mace Windu? Story. It depends on timeline, I guess. I don't know when they're happening.

So people want Mace Windu and Django Fett too. People have- Okay, here we go. People have a style that- There's this like this. Hey, Tren.

Like, Mace Windu just jumps in, cuz of his head and like, he's just another guy here. He goes there. Like, there's not that. It's like, I don't know why.

We have to see him interact. No, we don't. No, we don't. Oh dude.

There's a memory when Book of Bovafel were coming out, and everyone thought that Mace Windu was gonna be part of it, cuz Django, I mean, we're gonna get a flashback of Bovafel again, Mace Windu. Right. The Qui-Gun has no idea who killed us. No idea who Mace Windu is.

The Qui-Gun gene one is got a novel by George Mann and Andrew Moti, and then the Kenobi one is by Cecil Castellucci and Lucas Maragon. Wait, George Mann is writing the Qui-Gun one? Yes. So that might be a little push for some people to get out there.

And then the Tren Alliance is out of patience by Timo Tisson and Jody Houser. Jody has a very great job with the wrist one, so they'll probably do a good job with this one. All right. So, I mean, Qui-Gun and Kenobi also, because I don't think there's any excerpts or anything that we know about those two.

So maybe once I learn where they can play. It's quite like a great bear. Speaking of excerpts, and I didn't read it, it's the excerpt for Eye of Darkness. Oh, I got it.

I'm afraid because it's Elsa Mann. I can't believe you have the book and you haven't read it. I wouldn't have been able to control myself. I know.

I'm being afraid. Send it to me. I'll send it to me. I'll read it.

I'll link it. Stop it. No, sorry. Okay, no.

If it was physical, it would be more easily to start reading. I'll probably start either tomorrow or Monday. In Bagel Drops, November 1st, when the book doesn't come out in the 14th. If I read it now, by the time we discuss it, he'll be like two months, and I won't remember anything.

If it comes out in the 14th, I'll probably be done by December. All right. I'm not saying our last episode of December before we go on Winter Break is going to be Eye of Darkness. All right.

So, we'll see what that comes. Elsa Mann is still going through it. That's my only take from that excerpt is Elsa Mann is going to fuck up once again. Once again.

Oh, man. Third fuck up coming up. He will do what he does best. Oh, Elsa Mann.

I love her. I mean, we all love our flawed characters, especially our flawed Jedi. He's one of the best. I don't think he's contemplating doing something stupid, but after reading, I was like, he's going to do something.

All right. So I'll get to that. Hopefully, he'll start early next week. Oh, sorry.

I'm still finishing that scene, Marilla. I got like three hours left. Oh, my audio book. That's freaking great.

How do you like that? I've heard people don't like it because it's not a book like the book we're going to be talking to. It's a whole story. This is if you like mythology and all these people.

Is that it? Yeah, it's the story of middle-ers. And it was the story of this guy and this person. And they just were one hour.

Well, he was born from this line of Eldar and whatever. And they'll say things. They'll say things. I don't know what it means because they went to the Agros Kraska within the old Elvis means blah, blah, blah.

And then, Tranduil, which we hadn't heard in about 15 hours, comes back. Somebody doesn't make sense. But once you hear the whole tragic, every story is like a Greek tragedy, basically. And so stories in there are so powerful, really.

And Andy Serk is just a great job. So there's some chapters I'm like moving on. I don't care about the third song of whoever it is and why didn't he marry this girl. But once you start going to the political nature of the elves, not liking the humans and even infighting between the elves because the Maya or the Valor prefer this type of elves.

So that gets very interesting. But I'm almost at the end and the last two chapters I think are the rings of power chapters. So I'm almost there. All right.

This is over here today. And it's part two of Tales of Light and Life. And today we'll be talking about the first provides. All day that I work their own path.

Lighting the darkness, the call of course and Rogue Elements. Sorry that we couldn't see it out there. And we mentioned before I haven't read Rogue Elements from the Barnes and Noble edition. Excuse me.

But that is here too. Just up to date. All right, copy. Let's start with the first provides by Justina Ireland, which brings back one of my favorite characters from the whole initiative with which is Vanessa Rose.

I fell in love with Berneszra in the first middle grade book, because it's the first Harry Polywood that I read and I just love this character. I love her everything that she's been in. I miss when she's not there. And she went or just goes right out and she's becoming away sicker.

And I'm like, yes, that's my girl. I love her. Confirmation. Confirmation.

And I love how we got from her, how she knows if it's a dream or a vision. And you think it'll be the other way. But when it's a dream, all this nightmarish thought happens. She's seen Starlight Beacon fall down.

All these people turning to us. But when it's a vision, she wakes up calm. Researching knows what's going on. And this is a very different story from what I was expecting.

But by the end, it kind of makes sense to push on that way. Taking past kind of, now, Jedi Order has lost its ways. I love when she goes, we shouldn't be in this fight. This is a republic issue.

I'm just gonna go do my thing, follow the way of the forest. And I'll still be leaving everything, but I don't believe in this war. I love that for her. I do.

I don't know how much I agree with her being like, we shouldn't be here because they're part of that. People are dying. Markon is evil. But I do like that we got confirmation that she's turning into a wayseeker.

It was funny. I have not read mentioned to the saster. And I realized that when I started reading this, I was like, man, it's been a while since I've written this drug. And then I was like, wait, oh, I never read mentioned to the saster.

So I should probably read it. But yeah, it was fun catching up with her seeing her. She ended up on a weird planet. I like the whole pirate thing.

It got a little bit convoluted. Like it was, it was you, I sort of just trapped. But it was a fun story for sure. This is why I liked that I went back and just looked at them a couple of hours ago, because I had that twist kind of inverted.

I like, yeah, the grandma was the evil one. I know it was the other in love. But it's kind of this Robin Hood story, right? Because this older grandma right now, you're sweet, that princess of this place.

But she saw that too many justices were happening. So she created this pirate guild. She's not from the reach together. Yeah, give to the poor.

She put up this communication. Oh, Brennan. Just in time, Brennan. Oh, so yeah, Brennan, Alan, anyone out there just loves that word.

You were your favorites of the last five stories of Dels of Light and Life. Megan Vernetra has been traveling the galaxy, helping out where she can the now has this occlusion zone. The, it also has another name. Can't remember.

Storm wall. The storm wall, which I don't know, just deep the path or hyperspace lanes. I like also they went and referenced that Vernetra had that connection with Marissa and Teka. Yes.

The path was going to kind of be the visions that she would be having. I just think I haven't clicked yet. So I'm glad that that's still part of it. They haven't forgotten.

She said something that she has tried to put the coordinates and they don't like. She got the coordinates we can't say. And this doesn't take us anywhere. I'm still waiting for someone to say.

I wonder if the coordinates are for Peridia. Oh, you think Peridia might show up? I was laughing right now. Like, Peridia was just presented to us.

The one that's right there had no idea that was coming. And that's what we thought when they were riding Master on a apprentice and they put all the connections to the Nile, I mean, to the nameless and cave on scot. Wait, what? You know, in Dukoujera, they mentioned Kif Trennis or at least Master Trennis.

That's one of the last 20. And then in Master Apprentis, there's a bunch of prophecies that they send the book. But that's Claudia Ray. That's kind of a...

This is Dave Vollani on his corner. Just a question. I just want to imagine that you're going to slap me across the... I'm going to slap.

I'm going to slap you on the wall between walls to smack me across the face. But this story itself, she's helping this little lady that was attacked on this ramp, or transport ship. They're going to Tanavi, not as Tanavi, Yarr. It's the lady atogruta woman.

And there's this confederation of haulers that's taking away all the other farming or all the fish that are growing and just selling them to all the places. And now we got to give more to the people. And there's this, I guess, trap that was set up for her by her mother-in-law and all that stuff. But the thing is where Nester App is trying to find her way in the galaxy.

And it kind of ends with her going to this other weird planet called... I'm just going to say, even, I don't know if it's eBay or even, to rest, heal and see where the force calls her for her next step. I love that she was calling me to do something here or just to take an app. Oh yeah, the whole story is I just want to sleep.

All right, Tanavi is saying hi. He's not saying because he hasn't read the book, but fact only. Yeah, just give it a like before you leave, Tanavi. We need to do this.

And then come back and watch it after you've read it. But again, great timbre Nester Roh. I really love the way that Justina Arlan writes her. And the whole story is that she writes her.

Again, she's still dealing with her masters passing. So she's dealing with these things. Emory said. Oh, those visions, those dreams I should say.

Poor Emory is being tempted by the dog like twice already. It's about, I think we're going to lose him. I think Emory... I think he's alive, but I think something's going to happen with him.

I think he's, we're going to lose him to the dark side. I'm saying he's going to do something. That'd be cool. I mean, we need, I don't know if I say we need one, but we're going to see one of them like I should lose.

I mean, he's giving a hell of it, but in Alicia, one story, there is a Jedi Nile. Oh, I need it. I might need to get it. I'm going to say, you remember last we were talking about how are they going to defeat the Nile?

And you were saying it's going to be the power of friendship, most likely. A lot of these stories are about the power of friendship. It's like if Star Wars thinks the power of friendship is important. Don't tell my people.

I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself, but reading these bunch of stories made me think that a lot of the Jedi stories that are being told in this book are very much about the Jedi's relationship with the rest of the galaxy. Like what the role is. Yeah. Here we have our Nastra questioning it.

In the story that we're going to discuss now, Bell's story, there's a lot of what people think about the Jedi. Yeah. There's Shilan Rosh, Shilan Rosho's book, Story, where she's talking about being a shield rather than a story. So, and again, and all that something related to the Star Wars is touched.

So that was interesting for me. Yeah. It's a lot of Jedi being helping people, not just being the front light generals that we know we're going to be their voice. Like, no, this is what we're supposed to be doing.

And let's talk about... By the way, just a random thought, but we talk about where the base three will end with regards to where the story is, leave us off. And a lot of it should have to do with the Jedi maybe winning over the galaxy because the Jedi's like, what are these people? What do they do?

Like, what do they do? And we know that by Phantom Menace, they are like the police. Yeah. So, I think that's also going to be interesting to see.

Yeah. And I was jumping in again, I had to think about the acolytes. Again, we don't know anything about that yet, but on the other side, the dog side users here, maybe seeing the Jedi get to that point, revered by everyone in the galaxy, and they're like, no, no, no, we gotta do our stuff. So that's going to be a good balance and power out there.

I had a problem about that. That's interesting. So let's talk about Charles Souls. All Jedi walk there on path.

They'll satisfy not convinced, not only not convinced. He already lost a master that he kind of thought had been lost before, lost all hope just to find out that Lord and Grace of course was alive for a little bit, and then we know what happened. And he didn't want that for Buriaga. The only, the first thing I would say is I would have loved 100% more if they didn't spoil this in the Harry polish show.

If they would have said, oh, we're going to find out the fate of Buriaga in terms of Latin life, then it will have been a lot better because there's some things that you don't know if he's alive or not. But they say he's alive. So it's like, why, just wait two weeks, are we going to find out together? I found this story disappointing.

Yeah. Not going to lie. It's not that I didn't like it. It was a good story.

I love that we got more Lord and Ambell. But again, we knew he was alive. So when we got to him, it was like, oh, you're alive. Let's go.

Okay, the story end then. Yeah. Okay. So we knew it.

We knew it was alive. Okay. Thank you. I think the point with Buriaga and Lord and what's better.

Because again, you see what the Jedi are? They're attacking you and trying to kill you. We'll just see. We're just here.

We're just here. I think I like that to then kind of get in line with these fishermen. But I really like that that seems with Lord. I love that there's a moment when they mention that they have been attacked so many times.

I think they even like react to it. They just, and I would say it's the fact that the last one is going to go on. Yeah. Yeah.

But again, that's why we love the Jedi. And that's why they need to be. And like you just mentioned, the story starts with the people of area. I'm kind of blaming the Jedi for everything that happened to them.

So if you want to bring this trap over here, we will have been fine out. Lord, people have died and no one wants to go out there. And Bell has to slowly gain that trust. Because he's hearing these Loch Ness monster big food stories.

And there's something out there. And he doesn't want to give up here and go people are like, hey, we gotta go back to Coruscant. They're calling us. Just give me one more chance.

I love how they were at first very hesitant to have him go with them on the ship. And then he was like, yeah, he was basically a captain. And all the other crews were coming to talk to him and tell him what he found. That was fun.

But again, the whole load and thing was for me to highlight. Yeah. And again, I just wish that hadn't been spoiled because maybe, you know, they were distracting us with the loading thing. So it would have been like, oh, is he alive?

Is he gone like a different lesson? Like, and yeah, I don't think they should have split it. Yeah, I don't understand the reason why. It's not like people are going to buy this book.

We don't need to just saying we're going to find out what happened to Buri Agrand. This way, I think that's enough to get people excited for it. So it was a cool story. I still don't understand how they went into this typhoon or whatever, this mall.

He wasn't like a marine or something. That cool. And I'm sure he was just like sitting in the middle. Yeah, it's some underwater cavern, I guess, where water doesn't go in.

And he saw Mengeop and they found some wookie pelts halfway through in the Sauvignu. A weird story that part, I'm happy that he's alive. I'm happy that Buri Agrand is out there. He was great in the falling star.

So I hope we get more with him. I mean, obviously. I didn't want him to die. I didn't want him to die.

They wouldn't do that. I don't think he's like, true, back out. He's never going to die. All right.
