S7 Episode 3: Never Gonna Be Sar-ee with Deepika Shergill

Story-gatherer, raconteur, and self-confessed ‘bibi’ about town, Deepika Shergill compares herself to an autumn leaf finding her way around. From her early childhood to her marriage of 20 years, Deepika felt the immense societal pressure to mute herself, shrink herself into a space, and restrict her voice. Now, after years of living quietly and nothing holding her back, she declares it’s very difficult to quieten her now. While she manages her corporate career that has spanned over 40 years, Deepika nurtures her additional passions in art, portraiture photography, and enjoying quality moments with her actress mother and two grown boys. She also runs her successful Instagram account, @bibi.about.town, where she shares with her 44.5k followers personal stories, insights into her life, and her stunning Indian saris.
