S8 EP1: Favorite Moments of 2023

All these 24, we made it, all you're doing are first episode back, it's really like 30, I don't know, like 5 weeks. What about that? Hello Stonehenge! We're going to do some, still around 211 today.

Happy new year, how are you? Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Christmas. It came so fast because even before the week over Christmas lasts forever, it's been a week, so... Yeah, you're still going through it.

Yeah, next weekend, it's officially end. It's always funny when I'm here, it's not even new years, people are already taking down their Christmas lights, like 3 days before, 3 kingsdays, 3 stars out, and I'm like, what are you guys doing? On the 26th, I was in Tampa, in my in-laws house, and they have a Puerto Rican baker nearby, so I went to look for a pencil. So I was on the 26th, and as I left the neighborhood, 3 were outside already, I was like, what the hell no, just like a month left, come on.

You're still agreeing, people didn't even flush their mouths, like what are you doing? I'll take it back home. Anyway, 24, we'll call it our 8-6 or whatever, our 40-year, not to that day, but we're doing this one. Which is the Doctor Who thing, and just call it serious one without explaining anything?

Yeah, I'm reverting. Let's go on, let's say a serious one today, and we'll talk a little bit about Doctor Who, you've been doing your rewatch, we didn't get to talk about that church on Ruby Road. So we'll see if we can do it. Oh, yeah, I talked about it.

No, that's when we left. Talking about Chris, are you going to start with this year? I did, it's still, I haven't unpacked since I got back because I got back on Sunday, and then Monday I had to work, so still on my back, I got the timeline book. Oh, nice.

It was the kind of thing that I didn't want to buy for myself, because I know there's going to be a version in 5 years. It won't make any sense. I mean, it's the kind of thing until Star Wars ends, it doesn't really make sense, but whatever, it's still fun, I have not sat down with it. It's been in my back since I opened it.

I got this one finally. Art of the Hyper- I'm just reading right now, I finally reached the villains. So the drink here, the Nile, Mark and Rogue, I just went through that process and how they got to the final design. It's always really intriguing.

So very loving. I'm not going to know people. Oh, that's cool. Which actually, I ordered for myself in Black Friday, but I didn't get here while I was out on my trip.

So my daughter grabbed it and said, no, I'm going to wrap this up and you won't have it till Christmas. As her gave to me, I said, all right, set the entry for a whole month. All right. Actually, before we start, and we checked on the comments, as we were leaving and you already announced it, on your social media, I'm going to do a new podcast story.

I'm going on your podcast. Yes. Bat Wolf broadcast. It's going to be a Doctor Who podcast.

And this is right on in my life. We're going to be launching pretty soon. I don't know if it's going to be this week or next week. I think we settled on Tuesday's, I was really excited.

I need to go back and reveal this. And I ask you to be in it. So we have to talk about it. Yeah.

I'll be there filming in advance. I'll probably have to rewatch a bunch of stuff, but I'm very excited. And I think one of my favorite things is we're going to talk about today, our favorite Star Wars things of 2020. This is this journey for you from do them, don't I try it?

I don't want to talk about it to just announcing a Doctor Who podcast that you're doing. It's pretty funny because I mentioned a lot of times I try to watch the show before. And I don't remember anything I watched with David Tennant, really. From Eccles and I remember when I watched Rose, but with Matt Smith, it's like the bulk of the episodes I did.

I was like, no, I'm going to like this and my friends like it. So I have to like it. And for example, there was an episode, the God complex one, the one where they're stuck in this hotel. It's like a person.

Oh, yeah. That episode was awesome. Like I loved it. I freaking loved it when I watched it this time, but like I had this memory of watching it.

I mean, like this show is just so absurd. Like why do people like this? Yeah. I mean, Doctor Who?

I know. And people say just like your whole kind of journey to it was just give me a one or five piece on it. Or go to blink or this or that to make you need to kind of watch all of it or most of you just get into that. That's what the show is.

You need all that experience. I was watching the 11th. So I was in my in-laws house during the holiday most of the time. I was watching, I would watch most of the episodes in my iPad or computer because there's only like one big TV there and I don't want to like call it all the time.

But like I got up early, so I would put episodes and I would love people's reaction when they walked by and be like, is he walking power rangers? Like the 11th hour episode, like when we see the stars in the eye, like my girlfriend was like, please put something else. No one else in my house can do it. Same thing.

Doctor, I'll just walk the other way. This is too weird. But what I was telling my girlfriend is like, I'm pretty sure that it's the kind of show you have to like force yourself to watch and like get the vibe of the show. And once you get it, it's cool.

Like I, yeah, the CGI is terrible. I don't know. Production value isn't great all the time. But I don't care.

I love the characters. I mean, yeah, I'm hooked. Alright, so we'll look forward to the new podcast coming out soon. Alright guys, we're watching out there.

Let's start Star Wars and Star Wars news. Star Wars news. Alright, we mentioned it. I think before we started, I mentioned it when we went out.

Last episode that we did, we were like, okay, we're going to be taking a little break. We won't be doing weekly episodes because there's not a lot of Star Wars news. And we're going to coming up to this week. Zero Star Wars news.

I like, man, we're going to have to fight for the two days episode of everything we're going to talk about. And then everything dropped. And when I talk, everything and the first news we're going to talk about today is something we talked about five weeks ago as this can be happening. Ah, it's ridiculous.

Before we get to it, we'll see the chat today. Okay, so in this chat we currently have Dale. Dale, thanks for your help. There's also here.

I don't know where else is. I saw his post from this in a few minutes ago, so enjoy the time over there. Alright, so you read the article books the same way I read the book's book. Alright, so first news that we still can believe this is happening.

It just announced officially that the Mandalorian and Grogo are coming to the big screen very soon. John Farber is of course, producing and directing this movie. And I had a question today, but I think it's also been confirmed that he's going to be half of the writing team. With of course, Dave Filoni filling the all half, which is no surprise.

I've done the whole series. So, Otty, let's start right there. Like I mentioned, we talked about this on our last episode last year. Are they confusing season four with the movie?

I mean, with the Dave Filoni movie, this really can be happening. The actress, I say, they're going back. They're really excited for season four. And before we start breaking it down.

Are you still in the same boat? Like this doesn't make a lot of sense for, I guess, what we were expecting. Lucas, what are we doing at this point? I, huh?

Okay. It's a great way to start the year for the big sigh. Yeah. I think I've made it make sense.

I'll be extremely honest. I don't love this idea. I think it's super weird. I don't think it's going to go the way this new and Lucas film may think it's going to go.

But I'm just a guy in a middle of the Caribbean. Like, what the hell do I know? So am I excited for it? I don't know.

I'm like cautiously optimistic about it. Will I be there day one? Yes. And probably day two and day three because it's a Star Wars movie.

I'm going to be excited to be going to a theater watch a Star Wars movie. But there's like a lot of things going through my head like to go out this. So I'm like all over the place with it. All right.

So we're getting, I was, I have even my notes still weird, but I'm excited because this is a Star Wars movie. No matter what some people are, they thought of season three, Mandalorian, it's always been exciting. I like watching the episodes. It's always an exciting time.

And to see that in the big screen, seeing and hearing the thing come up. And then, then, then, then, then, we're all going to lose it. What's this story going to be? Is this going to be straight from the end of season three?

And we'll talk about that while we take nobody's stories. But because right now you can say, but it doesn't make sense to make a movie. The story ended. There's not connecting anything.

It's actually the perfect way to sort a movie because it can just be a brand new adventure. That's where, that's like my first thought. Like it's, it's funny because when season three ended, people were like, this was like a serious finale. I'm a season finale.

So now like this being like a new start in the theater, that kind of makes sense. And I'll make a point that I think a lot of people maybe think about it, but maybe not. There's a lot of Star Wars fans. Like big Star Wars fans that will go to the theater when a new episode of something comes out and will watch it with their whole family that don't watch the Mandalorian.

Yeah. I think a lot of people when Dave's movie comes out eventually, they would have been like, Oh, this is the conclusion to that show I haven't watched in the episode. So maybe don't skip it. And this could some in some way be a way to maybe introduce people who only go to the theater to watch Star Wars to the Mandalorian, catch them up with what the story has been so far and send them into Dave for the only smoothie act.

Why would that comes out? But on the other side, I know a lot of people who don't watch Mandalorian who will be like, Oh, that's the movie for the TV show. I don't watch it. I'm not going to watch it.

It's I mean, it's two things. And I mentioned it last time and someone dropped a spoon or something. This doesn't seem to me like the big return to the theaters for Star Wars. It's going to be at this point.

It is from south 2026, which is what most people expect May 2026. It was going to be like seven years since. Right. So Skywalker.

This is the return to the big screen for Lucas and for me, but even like I mentioned when he was here, all the time he spends at Disneyland all the Grandmas and all those people with their groggus shirts, the baby, you know that they know who that is, even if they haven't watched all three seasons. And even the title if they stick with the Morgan and Grogo, which I think is a horrible title, but that's what the general people that don't see every Star Wars. Oh, yeah, let's go see that movie with the Mandalorian and Grogo. They'll know that even if they put he the Empire or whatever.

I don't know what that is. I'm not going to watch it. So the name for the average viewer out there, they'll understand it. What movie you want to watch?

How do you want to go? Grogo and that Mando guy don't get it. It sucks. It's not going to be a Star Wars and my Lorde and Grogo adventures.

I'll say this. I honestly don't like many Star Wars titles. Do you remember that solo's title reveal? Like, oh, here's the title.

Oh, it's exactly what we thought it was going to be. Yeah, I think people were like, oh, it can be solo or it's going to be Han Solo. It's like, it's just dumb. No, it's just solo.

So speaking of the adventures of the Mandalorian Grogo, whatever, is these the first of a trilogy with Philone is movie being either the second one and then a conclusion as the third one or Philone is movie the third one. There's something in between. I think it is going to be a trilogy of this Mando universe. I think this is the way this is going to play out.

I think this movie's going to come out. Depending on when it starts to shoot, it could even come out next year. Like, again, depending on whenever that movie starts to shoot, if it starts to shoot on December, I don't think they'll make it to next year. If it starts to shoot like in the spring, maybe.

Yeah, it's going to start this year. I think that's why I say it depends on when they start doing it. But we could realistically get this movie December next year. So then the year after that, we may get a Rey movie and then the year after that, we get the day for the movie.

So it's like two years in between East and movies just like we had with the sequel trilogy. So it kind of makes sense. So a lot of people have been speculating like we're doing today that there's a Star Wars film kind of ready for May 2026 and then another for December. But I know we all know that with the actors and the writers, everything got pushed.

And some people think that this is coming May 2026 and then the Rey movie December 26. I'm really hoping they don't do that. I really like the one a year. Star Wars movie.

If they do it to a year, that's not like the thing. I'll be there. And I'll be happy. It's not like a Star Wars movie.

But I like the one year wait. I don't know. I love Star Wars, but I also love my time away from Star Wars. Yeah.

Well, I'm getting tired of. And again, like you said, at the end of the day, I'm just a fan. It doesn't matter. Every time the big weeks come on TV or on their little conventions is we're taking a break.

We're posting this. We're posting that. We're going to give it time to break. Oh, yeah.

Here's an on-a-nous movie that's actually coming right now. Didn't we just go through this? I mean, we're putting a break on it. Yeah, yeah.

But now we got a what if animated series. Where's the break? We're the time to let things breathe and make it special instead of just push, push push. Let's hold the what if thing for a man.

It's not an official announcement. Yes. But yeah, again, my biggest fear with this, and again, by the way, a studio rush movie can still be good. A movie with a ton of production issues can still be good.

It doesn't mean it's going to be bad. But my biggest fear here is that this need had a horrible box office here. And they were like, ah, it's not a movie. Not made a billion dollars.

It's gone. The what again? Fabru. Go get your movie.

Turn your seats on into a movie. But the other side of that is like, Fabru has the standing to be like, you know what? I want to make a movie. And kind of be like, hey, um, Bob, go on, let's make a movie.

Okay. Let him make it. Yeah. We don't know.

We don't know how those conversations went. All right. So last thing, I guess last thing on this. As I say this, I don't know if it's my side, your side, again, you're lagging a little bit.

Whatever. There's a lot of people out there. You know, all the other is fine. But let's talk about this that you mentioned, and everyone's thinking about it.

Season four is the, it's going to be a short season, which is what I thought first. We'll get a 46 episode season four that we're leading to the movie. We're season four either scrap or coming after the movie. You think season four is still up for grabs?

Or do you think? Yeah, it's just going to be the movie's coming afterwards. I don't know. It's again, it's different.

I don't know. Different voices out there because we all expected that season season four to start shooting soon. And now they're going to start doing the movie at some point this year. I don't know.

I mean, I don't think they'll do the movie in season four within a year. Okay. This is what I think. Again, this is just based on what I think.

I don't have knowledge or read anything. It's just me. I think Disney hopes this movie is a massive hit. And they can scrap the show and just turn this into a movie franchise.

We'll see. I mean, it wouldn't surprise me if they start slowing down the TV side of the show. I just focus on the movies because you said it 20,000 times a day show. Look at some movies studio.

I also know how much they love Disney Plus. I want that to be a hit. So I don't think they'll kind of push everything. I think they're kind of coming to an end as a TV show.

I mean, we just a couple of movies to end, it makes sense with them. But that's where I'm coming from. Movie studios sunk billions of dollars into these platforms. And they have not paid the return.

They wish it did. And now it's cost mitigating, mitigating time. Like this is existed for what, like five years now? Oh, yeah, 2019, I think.

Yeah, late 2019. So like almost five years. I think like if it still hasn't turned the profit they want, the writing is on the wall. They're not going to be like, let's give it five more years and see if we finally like break the formula.

I think they're going to start. I don't think streaming is going away. I just don't think it's going to be what it is right now. And I hope it isn't because right now I'm, I hate a lot of it.

Or the reason that we came into streaming is they're moving the other way. So my Apple TV go up 50% from when I signed up. You see $5. I'm playing 12 now with taxes.

Anyway, that's a separate conversation. Before we move to our next topic, I know the chat is going wild. Who's out there? What are some comments on this?

Bug accidentally wrote from another account. I hope you didn't see it. Bug is saying that teachers at work, people were excited and happy for the Mando and Grogonio. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are excited.

There's a lot of players coming up. So Mando and Grogonio seems like the easier familiar. Look at this here. Hey, how are you doing?

Again, it doesn't make sense for us. But I think for a lot of people out there that are not doing a Star Wars movie every week. Yeah, I know those guys. I love Baby Grogonio.

Let's take my kids to watch it. I don't make it move. I don't think it's going to make a billion dollars. I just hung it down on the right track.

I guess. Another concern I have. I really hope this movie doesn't cost $300 million. That's the main thing.

But I also don't want it to be like an hour and a half Star Wars movie with... I don't know. I don't know. I contradict myself.

Yeah. But yeah, I love the Margots. It shouldn't have cost $300 million. It's new.

Yeah. Same thing with solar with all the reshoots. In the end, the end of Jones cost $500 million to make. It's the one that I mind green with that.

Yeah. I mean, all right. And one thing that came out of not knowing where we probably 99% knew this was going to happen. But again, the way that Lucas films announced this stuff.

A sentence at the end of a movie announcement. Oh yeah. Ah, Soka, you remember that show from a month ago? Here is the second season.

So, Soka's coming back. These are containers to get a little doodle from the Filoni, which is a great one. We know everything from that picture. What's going on?

Exactly what's happening. Why are Star Wars so lack losses with all the... even this movie announcement, just a post on Star Wars. Someone else has to tweet out before two hours for the official Star Wars account to put it on Twitter.

And then one said that, yeah, Filoni is doing six on Twitter. Can I be super honest? Can I be like... I was just kind of an announcement.

Like, just on a Tuesday solo clock. Like, no context. Here you go. That's my kind of announcement.

And the Soka thing was hilarious. And they were the only who will be busy working on that. So, they're like, what? It's like, dude, they put an island of the Yonjeda adventures.

Like, every tweet is about Yonjeda and new episodes are coming. And it's been nominated for all these children at war shows. Soka's even too. And now everyone's posting.

Just give it a little bit more push. Just push it a little bit. Again, zero surprise. But I'm glad it's being confirmed.

I guess. I think that's going to be the answer. I think that's going to be the answer. I think that's going to be the answer.

Don't we shut up there? Yeah, it's the answer. Clearly. Could we see maybe Mando movie as Soka show then?

Probably. If there's not a season four, the mandala in between. I mean, they can't... It's so...

I don't know. There's so much stuff right now. Let's say it's season four. It's a short and season.

And I think some people can write about it. Let's say six episodes. You can guess it. I don't know how productions work.

You can probably do a short and season and then go straight to filming the next episode. And then release season four in 2020. But again, I'm always going to start production this year. Like, what?

I can't, but maybe it's at the end of the year. Like, we don't know. We'll see. Anyway, let's say that the movie is on 2016.

I don't think Mando season four is going to come out before this movie. Alright, so let's let's grab season four for right now. Let's say the Mando movie comes out that May 2026. I'll say this.

I think if the Mando movie is a billion dollar hit and just smashes the box office, I don't think Mando returns to this new class. Like, just throw it out there. Just throw it out there. Just try to watch the story.

This new class. Like, I don't think there's another season. It's the same reason why I thought that the ASO was never going to be animated. Once we put a token live action.

And again, I'm not saying that animation is a lower platform that live action, but unfortunately that's where all the money is. It's actually actually good. Yeah. So be the same.

If the Mando movie is a billion dollars. It's not going to go back to the show. You did your job launching this new class. Go now we are moving.

Like all the more you want to start. That dark far away, he launched the MCU. He launched basically. And now he's relaunching some of what we're supposed to do.

So does ASO cast season two come before the Mando movie? No. So what's going on? I really think they're going to steamroll this movie.

Okay. So you think maybe even December 2025, if they start now. I really think it's possible. And then if you do that, then you can, I guess ASO cast season two, 2026, three years.

But you'll probably show up in the Mando movie. All right. Anyway, that's not a surprise that ASO got this one. And I'm glad that it's going back because even I wasn't the biggest one of the last episode.

This story is there. There's a lot of question marks. And I want to go with that. Right.

Right. If I only announces it in a Vanity Fair article, does the Mando movie start with a crawl? No. Okay.

Almost wasn't one chair. So we're not going to get the Star Wars fanfare. That's not a problem. I was going to say the Filoni movie will definitely start with a crawl.

But if I, if it goes away, I think that Mandalorian, we spot over at three logivales at the wall of the with this Filoni movie, then they have to be the same. Do it? You know what? Yeah.

You know what the Star Wars and I think that it's a grand return to the theater. So we go ahead, not a crawl, but we saw the letters. And then we got that crawl with a soca. Same like crawl.

It was a crawl. It was. I changed. I'll say, I say something.

But wouldn't be with the fanfare when it has to be. I wish it was. I'll just, that's my angle. I wish it though.

Start with the fanfare and kind of maybe helping us separate ourselves. Like you're not watching a TV show in a big screen. You're watching a Star Wars movie. All right.

So that bug. He is, he's coming over the crawl. He doesn't want to be. And he's gonna be.

The website films are over. They're over. The Skywalker saga is over. It's that Star Wars.

I'm not. Get into it. Okay, let's leave it there. You imagine if now that Ray Moistor says, episode one, just like, Doctor who.

She says he'll be. I think it's gonna be. You're so great. Yeah.

All right. Let's move on to. Something I drove. yesterday or two days ago.

Star Wars is what if and again, now we're gonna away from official news. is reports out there that Star Wars what if it's gonna launch at some point I don't know if they said animated but kind of if it's based on Marvel's what if it will be an animated show. Dude if I think that Mandalorian Grover is a bad idea to launch Star Wars back in the movie theaters this is this this might get me to check out of Star Wars it won't but at least I can't I can't with this don't give me this I don't care all your cool ideas where I what if I don't want I have zero desire to watch a Star Wars what if will I watch it probably but I'll be I'll be I'll be this I'll be honest I didn't like the Marvel one and for very different reasons I wouldn't want to start was one yeah so I haven't watched the second season of the Marvel one by the way um I don't want this but like I also put myself in the mind so like there's a lot of people that don't love what Lucas really has done and they're not necessarily fundamental people they're like right here I'm just like the direction this one in so like I think I can be respectful of something I don't like in Star Wars look okay it's not something I want to happen I will watch it if it happens and if I don't like it I just won't talk about it like I tell with everything I don't like I think I'm up eat again I don't want this um it I hope it's not like the Marvel one because Marvel's what if it's still kind of the alternate timeline kind of cross especially all the multiple stuff they're doing it does intertwine so I hope it's not that no but I don't want the same stories that people have been wondering for 20 years what if I can do it to the dark side what if I'm a survive what if look what should I join the emperors like dude no so if they do this has to be something of the world because if those stories why are we doing there's so many ways that we can keep pushing stories forward why are we doing this um bug is saying that if the show isn't called infinities then don't give it to us if you don't know what infinity is it's a comic series that it's basically Star Wars what if I can't remember all the scenarios right now I remember there was like a good Darth Vader at one point he was like oh why yeah I think there's one where Unleaves look and they go up and then like we're getting some out here he's like oh crap I have to pick up and goes back like a couple years later and look at like this Jedi master now um so again I can see myself watching it and having fun with it I just don't see the point to this honestly like Star Wars is such a vast galaxy and so many different things can be happening so many different time periods and corners in the galaxy um watching Dr. Hoonau like the possibilities are infinite so I would have rather them going with something like that expands the story not something that circles it back to that one point and makes it about like oh what if there's a problem um and the last thing I'll say is like take this with a grain of salt because the source for this doesn't have the best record yeah all right so a different source I think early today saying like oh no this has been debunked already okay and I hope so um again I don't know the track records of all these different websites out there no website twitter accounts I get it something we keep saying just push that was forward there's so many other stories that we could tell him uh we have legends if you want what if you'll read some stories with some missions with it's the most what if stuff I just blew my mind my mouth um so it has to do a lot of book is saying he's saying he's saying here's why I'm okay with Star Wars what if it opens the door to adapting legends stories and characters that don't fit in the current canon you know what I think would be the coolest version of what if what if they took like legends books and adapted them into like shorts like yeah maybe like 45 minutes like not a full episode or not a full movie but kind of an episode or something and just like present us like that they've kept the legends brand alive they've done the republishing of the books and the rebranding and everything so like I think that could be a cool way to like keep it keep that alive and you know have their cake and eat it's what I was gonna mention this because it wasn't my day I thought someone else that I followed twitter kind of posted just do adapt the legends stories and I said yeah that makes sense so they're still there still really at this it's not canon whatever and then just those great legends stories I ever once told I just do those and I kind of thought maybe just a small version you can kind of just constrict them a little bit but yeah do a 45 minute let's throw on three of you whatever or give me those blagers if they're gonna change what it is on the main trilogy give me something like that in 45 minute anime record yes I'm all for that but if it's just the same canon stories that we know oh what if you don't do it this instead what if mace window didn't call us okay seriously I don't care whatever he didn't call us it is yeah all right I think that's it for Star Wars news so price how much we got hopefully we'll still oh there's other kind of stuff so where the nameless be where the nameless I'm so sad that I didn't get advanced copies for the new books are coming out there so spoiled I know every day I go to the to the post not to put to my mailbox I'm like is this something there nothing okay oh my god all right and I guess and I haven't watched yell at me all you want I haven't watched Godzilla minus one yet so now I was freaking out because the director said he wanted movie and he now you'll see that minus one had a screen at look as we won because they've filoni set it up so now everyone's gonna just give me my movie and again I haven't watched it I know it loves it it's the same thing that oh look I hold the record let's even sour smooth oh the movies and what people thought was gonna be it's so so what's really like it's very brief we don't need everyone right now so now they make that hit movie to come take your time I won't say anything I'll just say go watch Godzilla it's playing in plastic and I want to go watch it but there's like a backlog of movies I haven't watched that I watch I watch the creator finally I enjoyed it oh it was a creator I watch the creator it's on Hulu just and one day I like scrolling through all the great I'm like oh I can watch it now and I watch it it's freaking really freaking out I'll leave my one for world between time and we'll get all right so let's go to what we're supposed to be our main topic but there was a lot of stars to drop me so review of our favorite moments of Star Wars in 2023 there we go 2023 this moment in 2023 I know it says best well let's talk about my favorites because I don't want to we'll talk about our favorite one we'll just as a whole 2023 yes I started on making this list there's a lot of so was that happened this past yeah and I thought I was with the books and I gave me like four or five books I read and I was not going to let me say oh crap yeah this came out early 2023 I forgot about it but I think in general it was a good year for so was whatever people say is dead and not even time to have for Star Wars celebration and all the announcements there but it only going back I got hype for everything that we got and even hype for this year and even now again I'm under whatever mandala movie we get it more so was movie so it's time to things are ramping up again and I'm very happy but overall 2023 good year for Star Wars yeah I think so like it's kind of a weird year because I think every time we don't get a Star Wars movie it's a weird year for Star Wars but when you think about it yeah we got a lot of cool things like you're like at the end of the year so yeah so let's start with tv shows which is what's been keeping I don't want to say tv shows like but in not having the movies then you have the live action shows and a lot of anime shows also but I mean we got bad back season two and the Lawrence season three, vision season two, Ahsoka and young Jedi adventure so a lot of there too he can choose some very cool moments and I can start with for everyone you got a young kids go watch young Jedi adventure you kind of tired about canon go watch visions you love Clone Wars you got the bad batch like like fashion and Clone Wars is Asoka rebels mandala all these connects so this for everyone so we can be complaining ah this photo defined I didn't get what they want this Star Wars very one this fast here I think that's something we kind of forget about what it's there and I'm glad that everyone gets a little a little piece of it yeah I agree all right so real quick we'll go through this I mean our favorite show at least my favorite show of last year was Asoka I mentioned wasn't the biggest one of the last episode but the whole season was more than I expected I wasn't a huge fan of Asoka coming into this the rebels interpretation of Asoka had been my favorite so I liked this more mature Asoka so I was very happy that way this this show went the production value was great even from that first episode had that movie quality that we talked about I love the music the fighting scenes were pretty great and of course we got a bunch of great reveals I will keep talking about today but the return of anime surrounding live action Sabine the return of Ezra which I like yeah whatever live Ezra alone great actor playing Ezra Chopper who yeah so as a whole I think I saw XC than my expectations and I'm really excited for season two when it shows up Asoka had a soca episode six which is my favorite Star Wars anything I'll just say that Baelin's call Baelin's call all right so between from the other shows where were some things about the bad batch at least this season two that you enjoyed I was things just kind of I keep saying that if I'm consistent one thing is I'm a hypocrite like complain about the structure of the bad batch but it's very similar to like Star Trek event Doctor Who that yeah there's a main through line for the whole season but every episode is something and the bad batch is the same so I love some of the sillier episodes that racing episode I love and then also know that the episode with Crosshair just those two bookends were very interesting yeah with bad batch I really enjoyed a crosshair story and seeing how he goes from being there so then being bad in Mount Texas I think they were and then seeing that cliffhanger with him and and Omega stuck there and you know it just makes the mind run wild like how are they gonna escape are they gonna have to work together it's a bad match right there I'm excited for it I like that the show has a conclusion in mind like I like that it's not like you know Clone Wars I got canceled and for years they know the story so I'm happy they're gonna get to end their own term so that's kind of cool it was also surprising even though I expected I know if some one of the clones was gonna die with it echo echoes getting a lot of attention this season but it's still surprising that they decided to kill one of the main characters I know that Filoni it's very close to what Joe Shukas which was Star Wars is and Lucas has a bunch of iterations and you don't need to kill the main characters to show that there's gonna be that there's trouble out there so I'm surprised that Filoni went even though and I should say Filoni's not a producer it's not kind of doing this directly so kind of take away what I just said but I also surprised that they did kill echo with nobody no death who knows right so price it happened and like every great Star Wars death or sacrifice what's the safest brother so echo whoa whoa whoa and for this next show that actually before I go to Nationalist account and a lot of people's bad bassies on two I was more a better show than Mando season three I love Mando season three maybe not my favorite of the whole series how about the lawyers a silly exciting show and I love see with man when shows of like captain shard I love plus year 13 or 15 with Jack Black it's a silly episode but I have to get away from that kind of launch that we're having now other part of the episode is very kind of noir late runner time to find these robot killers out there so I love them and the lawyers this weird crazy adventure out there and that's what season three was plus of course hey book at any see we're gonna reclaim and the way yeah I really like Mando season three like I don't know what to say I know a lot of people didn't I like them more than most and I think it's probably my favorite season I don't know I think it's like Mando isn't necessarily my jam so this season kind of was closer to my jam so yeah yeah I'm gonna highlight a couple of comments from all this stuff we're talking about before bug saying that he loved the creator I hope he loved it a bit more instead of way to the whole thing which you know we don't want to watch films at home then they all add a third of them and the lawyer movie so in speculation what the mandelor and groggo feature film that film is what makes it work all my ideas might be a bit too much I'll share a link on this on Twitter when it's closer to finish and so I'm glad that stories is out there in the conversation and we all love kind of the hype before Star Wars movie and then going to some of the other shows vision season two which I really love I love season one a little bit more but I love great episodes which is that first one I love see but this is what I love about visions and I very happy I've been season three so the different voices are coming to it and talking about there's something for everyone Vicious is one of those shows that there's no wrong answers in what was your favorite one we're all gonna connect to something different because every episode is so different even if everything wants to have a say throw a Jedi every story so different that someone's gonna connect to it and it was creature switch which is a lot of people's favorite it wasn't mine but the story in it which kind of just a wag this hour sorry yeah I'm gonna say it with me it's an actual say thank you and you're gonna turn you in.

I actually watched that episode not that long ago because I was like man that was crazy. I love Vicious season two I didn't love season one so I don't know like season two I at least like a lot every single episode yeah I the among the stars was the one the one from Chile I can't remember the name that for me was like so special yeah I loved that one and then it was my favorite um the pit like that was the pit was in stents um the bandies of Golak I think was my second favorite one and I am your mother which is totally completely different for everything I'm your mother it's so good yeah so that's why I say you have everything you have this I really love it yeah Vicious man give us more Vicious all right I can find my mouse here we go so we already kind of mentioned this talking about favorite tv shows favorite episodes we kind of mentioned some of them already but let's talk a little bit about that soka episode 6 far far away the return of Granad Milthron or I guess the red in-dimension is first showing everyone makes it to a new galaxy Balen and she now doing those things but Ron is crazy as hell and he has not just that naughty are here uh the weird wolf creatures uh dead things in the catacombs that we need to bring back to life it's had everything uh I I don't know probably it's probably my favorite episode of our selection like you said I gotta go through a few things but at least from this season on this show come on you couldn't top episode 6 far far away it's just go see what I said when that I was okay now um I I just again it was just like a bombardment of different things that I was maybe not expecting um and it was also like very cool every time Balen goes on I'm on a log like oh sounds like you missed the dead I miss the idea of it um again I don't know I freaking love that episode and the music went wrong yeah oh look it's here mow oh happy 2024 oh well when I'm in my yeah fairly sign in my way fairly when this is why I was spanglish is getting worse by that minute a good new year sleep me alone all right um Delta Lodi bad bash the outpost which was that one with crossair wing you know see so the empire is treating the other clones uh Mandalorian I love the pirates like I said with oh you love that I'm a pirate king uh gourian shark I think I'm a weird that's my love I'm a lot of our own but of course the finale is also it's also there I really like the thing oh my god the sequence was for and the miles that's stuck out after who thing by the way yes that is uh I also it's still ingrained in my mind like that scene that opening scene with the shadow council and and Gideon and the music slowly building like this and great stuff and even one of the favorite actual scenes of the whole year it's um or his name is gonna against the Praetorian guards with the trip oh my god that was so cool the Praetorian guard yeah past these people not like the season right when you start talking about these so many great things the thing people when you start bringing them Mandalorian culture and book at hand people are very close to what they want so when it kind of gets not flushed out but then everybody's in this line the finale and the little shield from book at hand it was great it was great it was a big season visions I can measure I love the scene and a shadow warrior also for a soca with the return of Anakin Skywalker I think we're gonna be talking about that in a minute this is where I I said really all these seven 2023 is my let's talk about some of the favorite books and these are just once I read I know there's more than I did read but the eye of darkness from a certain point of every turn of the Jedi they also live and live in Quizito right so the red blade crimson rain battle vengeance character in the battle jailer all that came out this year so it's impossible to kind of go through all of them and what our favorite moments were but again another great year for Star Wars literature the high republic we got the end of phase two with the eye of darkness battle jail and characterism how comes almost this year 2023 yeah very early 2023 and sorry battle story phase three but we also got something different or away from the Harry poly with crimson rain which I really enjoyed that one talking about Kira and then in Quizito right so the red blade which I'm surprised when I just put a little hey we're gonna be talking about books or words on your favorite books everyone said in Quizito right yeah I'm surprised when this book came out again I'm thanks to everyone that they'll read as a man advanced copy everyone they're gonna advance copy and sorry for the reviews love this book kind of high on their list when the book was released the made the star was kind of fans didn't really get that high but now when I asked about it a lot of people go back to Quizito and the character his character characters have been some of their favorites this past year so it's a cool story the only thing I can I mentioned here wasn't a fan that they kept pushing the narrative of it's all the Jedi's role they just around this all happened because of them but once I kind of said you know what this is coming from someone that's falling to the dark side of course I have that point of view so I didn't enjoy it a little bit more but the eye of darkness come on give me Harry poly give me motion robe saying this is my guy like I'm gonna tell you why and show you why able Greece also man Lena so Porter angle trying to find a way to get away out of the occlusion zone we're still dealing with all the tragedy of the photo star that year before you got Bell you got Buryaya what else what else can you say I have darkness my favorite book it's like a triumphant return to the heroic and I'll just say this I didn't love season up season too but it was still good like that last patch of close was yeah because of my love yeah rather vangers I thought could have been better but I still was pretty good so yeah um I've got this and even though for my life my life was pretty cool too there's a lot of life was great because it kind of pretty it put us yeah yeah the Harry poly is coming back with all those characters that we know in law and I want spoiled Pato bangers because I saw I coming from port I hasn't read it but your girl Moira wrote it's a highlight in that book and she just goes off the rails cocoa cocoa yeah but I love that Pato bangers and characterism are kind of happening at the same time but just on different sides not the galaxy but different side of this conflict so I love how those works and of course thanks to characterism got a chance to talk with its author Lydia can which is my favorite moment of 2023 doing this podcast and probably forever until we get another author here hopefully this year but yeah characterism come on it needs more love even though people love that book also that Lydia can't enter it was so cool because if he was just so awesome about everything it was great so go check it I might put a I'll put a link on this later so talking about favorite in universe moments and just from that list that I wrote and you can tell me more and you guys in the chat if you have more in universe moments so of course the return of Anakin Skywalker Puntueta that is played by heading Kristen saying get on back play by Amat best coming to save Grogo which has been the question for five years now extremely cool moment and we got live actions through on so that's why my three kind of in universe big moments I think I have to go back I don't know what the easy answer is heading Kristen and back as Anakin even though we got in as Anakin of course we like an obvious reason last year but this is different because he got to play Clone Wars Anakin plus War between worlds Force Vision plus our Force goes kind of close that arc for him even though we're expecting to be back that was so great but also that getting Amat best back as a badass Jedi saving Grogo what answer them it's everything was great all those moments I loved and would be on my list for sure I would like to mention oh my god what was I gonna mention no getting S-ro back okay okay it was a bit anti-climactic again I was the expectation that he was thrown in a cave listening to Dark Side of the moon or something but he just killed it as S-Ride and I had to do no reconciliation in my mind he was S-Ride and this is the next chapter of the story I was so happy to see him even if I didn't like that last scene with him still like it worked there's not a bad word you can say about the performance in terms of it's not S-Ride since he showed up on screen minus family that was S-Ride same as you said that's a continuation of the story he killed it so agreed I want to mention Buck and Robert are waving that ji's survivor flag which I'm very happy because I I've been honest about it I didn't love that game like I'm excited for the next one but I just don't think it lived up to the first one but they're mentioning two awesome moments the first one it's a big sputter it's the other versus Vader like oh my god when that starts happening like okay let's go and she just whoops his ass and she eventually loses but just thinking like can Vader got his ass handed to him like by S-R and can open the same year pretty cool and three months apart he's Callan Mary kissed in one of the best moments of that game for sure they found a cool way around the I love you I know line he kisses she kisses him and he's like oh is that for me she was like no it's for me that was like a great great moment yeah I gotta watch the cutscenes which is what I did for the first one um so I haven't played them so I might just watch the cutscenes and check that was not better see your scene it's just like adrenaline I think I watched that one or watched part of it I remember your I don't know if you mentioned it here or post it's always like yeah but I guess it's askeying twice in the same year all right so what else what else I have so oh fan moments or reveals kind of away from the tv shows I mean for the actual in universe um Knobs Nation Alan if you still here I it's I don't know it's such a surprise that this character from a tv show for it's how much people love this year of course people gonna love him but it's not a lot of people that we follow I mean I guess we do not in our age range this is this show for you know dear toward us but everyone loves freaking knobs I don't have enough same but Knobs Nation is out there Knobs Nation. Don't know the Jedi movie directed by James Mangol is a big one people have been waiting for something to happen 10,000 years in the past we're gonna see how this goes we have to be daisy lately I'm gonna start with celebration to announce officially the return of race Skywalker that's gonna be the biggest fan moment a fan reveal right I remember waking up that day I usually I would wake up early this but that day I was like that's the first one like I don't think I'll make a huge announcement and like waking up and seeing that picture of her on the stage and being like oh they brought it into moderate cool no there's a movie going on like dude I was I had to take my kids to school that day and my daughter did volunteer at the elementary school she was in middle school so I had to wait for her so I'm in my car with my phone just okay there's a time difference our celebration is so let me see what's going on and everyone there's a really serious all right ah and the whole thing it was amazing it's one of even if we're not there for celebration just getting all this announcement at the same time the hype for it that people screaming for it when everything got announced but bringing daisy really out kind of solidifies it and we knew we kind of expected this is gonna happen that we have been saying for one or two years whatever oh they had lunch yeah she flew from London for lunch so you were kind of spanking but still it's a big moment that you see there is a recent interview with yes I was in the middle of shooting a movie and got the guy who was like oh I'm flying over here and then her mom being like what did you talk about like we all knew like come on it's also and I'll believe I won't say that she's lying but it's for daisy really I guess she's an actress is a the head of big suicorn and of course I'm gonna go but as we have part of her mind that I do think is this another rainbow where we're just gonna go ahead of course but I love also in that interview she talks about yeah this is this online neativism but when you are doing public we go to service elevation talk to people in person that doesn't exist that love for her for the character for Star Wars is real so I know we're online a lot and we see because it's loud the general public doesn't know it's not love for this uh franchise that so much is that we'll never be there we'll be there for this little group online but we'll only follow us I'll never forget this is of course anecdotal like I don't have any analytics for this when rando I think rando something like a one-year tweet about us Jedi and I remember some of these kind of shows were like oh the people are being horrible to him look at that they hit the movie and if you scroll definitely was a lot of people oh you killed Star Wars I like sat I was a nation I'm with my girlfriend and I was bored so I sat down I was like I have a lot of time to kill and I went scrolling through the tweets for every single hate tweet he got like four saying like oh we love you like can't wait for your trilogy yeah so like yes it's very loud but I really really really refuse to like accept it's the majority of those sometimes when people say oh don't go read in the comments when so and I being dumb let me go read the comments same thing it's like the first thing horrible yeah and that's what the first thing you're 15 great great great great this sucks okay shut up great great it's like are we also on our side kind of part of the problem I amplifying those voices like I can believe this is going out there and I hasn't shown up on my field I just hear people complaining about something I haven't said I haven't read it's out there but it's nothing it's like three hate comments but oh they're being horrible it has like a thousand likes and five thousand re tweets oh man all right so the last one I have for this new character see can be from the tv shows from books video games or whatever so of course valence call we got shin hatty we got not second-minute so he's got a carri for me I love amadeo assesses or just a lot in life the naughty I didn't forget I put the naughty there I love Lola from Star Wars missions that's it episode listen about the naughty real quick oh by the way fuck is making a great point they either reveal to you yeah I just got a joke as my husband I call my husband to tell him you can't say something wait you're buried oh man go ahead no so let's talk about the naughty real quick another star wars species that can just be gather just the nomad hermit crabs the hermit crabs the hobbits or the hot foods and now star wars twitter use it to oh we can't wait for the weekend is the naughty they can just bounce in a long we love the naughty as soon as they showed up some glad they're here I love the naughty right in valence call for most of the fandom is that character that came out of nowhere played great of course we have that tragedy happening but it's a character we we want to know where that's going we want to know the past how he got there like you said before oh yeah I miss the jedi when did that change or he knew and I came in but now he wants to build it to be something more I don't want to go to a war I just want to build this jedi order whatever into something more yeah the father is an early daughter and more this all this might be into it this story is very interesting I think the character is gonna be who replaces this actor now is gonna be very interesting to see how this pushes this story forward and it's one of those things that even I'm not the biggest day if he don't even if I'm reconsto some of his decisions he introduced a great character I want to see what he takes it yeah it's just a choice to make I want to mention aslan rel he wasn't introduced in 2023 but he was interested in other books like just a guy there he's a very interesting introduction to the hire for the guy I want to see where that goes mention mark and row because every day mark and row is a new character he's awesome I think that's it that's a guy because reading face to his first he was there in uh what's the name part of what about the seat we were here like what happened to that guy yeah he was there he's like he's a freaking kid like he found the husk what is he he's in phase three you just need to believe that we have a plan okay I'm sorry I'll show you all ass in rail come on three guys all right that's it for Star Wars in 2023 really that's it okay I don't know what else those what else happened but favorite things I don't know this too much I love Star Wars celebration that's like probably my highlight yeah so we're celebration even you know everything was great we didn't get to see we saw the potato cameras of all these trailers but still the reveals were there everyone's high for the acolyte skeleton truth a little bit that I saw look great that three movies announced was the biggest one of all and the panels were great but we were able to see some the panels were great so oh it's three oh I have to wait till what is it next year right 2025 for the next one oh we fine all right Oti you want to do a quick what between fandoms all right they won't be a recap of 2023 that's too much but we'll do a little bit so early 2023 got co-cain beer and then co-cain beer I love that movie it's definitely my daughter love that movie we rented the because of her we watched it and we all know what it's all right so Oti monster let's just go to it rebel moon you watch rebel moon I want to talk about it okay let's go back to work 2023 was a good year for Star Wars let's give it there um that was so excited for rebel moon because I'm a fan of section I love most of his movies I know burgers and like Manos steel Manos steel is one of my favorite MCU I'm sorry if I'm speaking of turmeric I know I think the characterization Superman and other people love from Manos steel I love that movie my life I'll leave it so anyway so I was excited for Saxon either to do this big sci-fi epic because I do love his style this is chai choices even the that zombie movie for Netflix was entertaining I just wanted to take a picture yeah and I know is this Star Wars is me and by the time I got to it uh the reviews were kind of up and down so people know that so people didn't I said you know what I'm just gonna watch this movie it's not my favorite it's not a giver I think like two stars action work cool cool that taking 30% of this low motion out because it lost any impact slow motion in school when makes sense when the whole action scene is in slow motion it has no effect on the story um too many characters in to lose I didn't have anything to do because we didn't get their history I think that's what either this longer version of this already is gonna be I think seeing that trailer for point two I think that's we're gonna get the back to it's a lot of these characters but right now I don't care about any of them if you remove a lot of the freaking slow motion for giving more time remove the uh jamaohansu character uh remove that twins I kind of have during the background because they're very important but keep with I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the character keep so people tell a character because we got a lot of watching it yesterday I don't remember that so her character was fine and we got a little bit of a backstory uh the guy that learns how to control the wild stallion you know what I like that character and we got a little bit that he's a slave or he's paying off this step okay and then there was someone else um I don't remember someone else I said give me those three characters all right Roberto that's from here um so give me those characters and uh he was man also from Game of Thrones I like give me those four characters kind of their story with Charlie Hahn I'm not being revealed as the traitor give me those characters and set up their stories that I like and then have this voice no there's these rebels we need to find them and then do that in the second movie introduce this general that Hahn so he's playing in the second movie then he has more time to breathe in my I think try to push too much into it uh like you tweeted out the answer this focusing that he did that you only focus the center and everything else in so focus was so annoying worse than the slow motion which was again too much I know some people are really into it and I want to see the second one just I guess it's to torture myself I was so hyped up for this movie and it's trying to start it just it's bad it's bad I'm sorry I'll say this because I don't talk about things I'm like um I thought this movie's biggest sin is that it's extremely mediocre and I felt this way for a lot of movies recently because I think a lot of blockbusters have been very mediocre I don't think this is the movie to take a passionate stance on like I don't think this is the worst movie ever made I don't think it's Sex Kniders worst movie I don't think it's the best movie and I don't think it's the best movie ever made so these passionate fights about this movie confuse me because I watch and I'm like okay that's a movie I watched I guess um so I don't know um those choices like tweeted about it I know they're stylists that stylistic choices sex and someone who knows what he's doing they just come off as extremely amateur filming like sometimes a character is talking you can't see their face because the focus is like here yeah what's happening um I just thought and just another thing I don't want to call anyone out but sometimes I I've seen people praise this movie like oh my wow yeah bash star wars for things that maybe since I saw this movie so I feel like it was the most yeah yeah I wrote I said I told someone it felt like sex neither trying to do a sex night anymore so like somebody I'm actually like oh I want to do a movie in this style of sex night I'm gonna turn it to 11 and I saw his comments like some comments came up yesterday I guess and he was like oh like what they're talking about when it was already meant to start with everything's cool it's cool it's cool like I'm so glad this is a star wars movie that's like yeah stars needs to be cool but star wars is extremely not cool it's so and even keeping with people that want to start with and then you're told no uh many of them wise have the new show by the way so have you have you seen the articles versus the headlines the headlines are very much like oh look it's well no the article's very like yeah they didn't want to win so we won they don't think yeah it's I mean I've learned to click on those articles and read them so yeah it was very yeah we may we look with Captain Kennedy we wanted to do you know birthday Jedi movie and then they decided they didn't want to do the movie so we moved on so yeah it's fine but I get all the articles are yeah they're not doing it can I hands them it's actually us we don't know her maybe we don't know her all right so let's be like I said I watched the creator really enjoyed it a movie which again is not fandom based right I watched the killer we're in one Netflix I love that movie I love my favorite ones um let's finish off with a little bit doctor who just to finish how we started uh huh kind of color render this is the year I became a huvian and that's they will always be especially here yeah I was thinking I'll probably if I take care of myself I'll probably be alive for the 100 special I'm gonna just think about this I think about it one thing at a time um so I guess they treated still like a special it's the first one we uh shooty as the doctor uh church and ruby road talk about weird things but it's very dr who we had these trolls or I forgot the name the uh goblins I guess when they spiral ship in this guy hidden the clouds they feed on coincidences um great episode to bring dr huvak I really enjoy his interpretation of the doctor when he runs into the cop I started out about the ring that was very dr who very dr and I love they're still doing the maverity thing and I one of my favorite parts is when he's with ruby on the golden ship I saw this gold is so time traveling well that's so cool no they're not cool time travelers are cool there's those uh I'm learning the language of road road come on that's perfect perfect so I really enjoyed this episode and they're singing someone else said it wasn't me like poor doctor I asked to go sit through your field series when you finish your your re-watch I threw three song numbers in the past like two two or three days so that's a singing number at the end we uh we had the uh toy maker and now we have this one so like three days you have to see through three dance sing and dance numbers okay I close my turn yeah go ahead I liked it um I I didn't think it was like amazing but so far I have I'll be honest like I don't think any of the christmas specials or the first episodes for I actually like rose but like the first one for they even the first one for Matt I don't think we're like their best episodes so like my grievances with the with this episode will probably be over once yeah truth is ten years over because my biggest issue is really like we saw like one side of his after I I really appreciating for example Matt Smith's just seeing the range he has as the doctor and I'm sure surely we'll get to that as the show goes on in different situations happens but since I haven't seen I'm still like okay like it's gonna take a little bit getting used to but like I like them I really like there's a moment when he starts he does the doctor thing of figuring things out and being like oh that was perfect so I think he's just gonna nail it yeah I mean the first episode is always the pick on the show because it's a new actor but usually and it didn't for this time but usually the doctor said that involving this first episode the recovery from didn't like having the case adopted and he starts to be right now the crack and the ceiling very similar to the crack with Matt Smith yeah and he's like oh all these I started figuring out yeah this is so all that worked great for the for this opener you got the time look thing when he's going back and having her stay um I was gonna mention something else that I'm blanking on uh come on for this episode or something no I think it was for this episode okay yeah whatever maybe it wasn't important but I like that I'm very excited for me I just excited for more doctor who it's not too far away it's coming up in a couple months I think and now I'm going through this thing that I'm thinking like I started to realize like I'm still in my smith i'll talk about it but I like thinking of scenarios the doctors and thinking of other doctors in that scenario and I'm thinking man I would love to see in shuddi with river song like that that would be like chaotic I think I mean river is my favorite character in the whole she's the best she has great chemistry with all the doctors she plays and way too you get her with her power is just phenomenal but also it's the range of all the doctors I love that tenants when he gets angry he's that's what he's space right he's yelling and you can see the emotions into it but smith on the other hand I love when he goes quiet I go soft and it's like oh crap he's serious now I can't hold this story different so I love all those different interpretations of this thing I love how much smith can be like the silliest doctor and the darkest one like dude that episode when they do the whole old anything and he leaves her behind I was like what are you doing like no this is necessary this is necessary I have to do it I was like what yeah yeah that's yeah that's uh yes that's too much even because when you posted that picture and I'm sorry to remember the episode I can search something and I reread that and I like oh crap right he left him behind he's like he can't be he can't be but then you get the episode with one go and he's like I'm crying because it's so emotional I really love his relationship with Amy and what I was gonna say originally now I remember I love that in shuddi it's like this young spirit to the whole because Matt Smith is like the youngest doctor right but he's such an old soul and in shuddi is not really that young he's I think he's like 35 or 33 or something so he's not old but he's just not that young but he feels like energetic he brings that energy and I don't know I'm very excited to what the show is gonna be now because it's kind of like a new beginning for it so yes I think that's one of the reason that he decided to go to like series one kind of sorry again brand thing with a logo and everything and the intro I love the intro it's great I'm talking about production value it's one of the old 16 years but it's talking about old souls right now you get to kapadi which physically he's the very old doctor to first of matt smith but also the doctor itself the characters and gone through and by the time it ends it's like you feel for the guy so yeah it's great to now have and with like it was also younger in spirit what shoot is yours all the choices very interesting all right so doctor who really really loving doctor who yeah so again this there's a show one movie that doesn't click with you you know four or five more tries force yourself to like it or wait until this invite something related to it and then just watch it and jump in all right one thing just when have you watched echo talk about this I have not I'm gonna try to watch it tomorrow but as I said there's a couple movies I want to see in the theater before they leave so yeah it's five episodes it's the same Disney plot I watch it or the same thing with Disney plus that so it's a 15 minute episode and the finale is like 33 minutes we don't comply with 100 inches of Disney plus thing now I enjoyed everything there's a part of the finale that I was like yeah really I get it but it kind of whatever there's a little post-grad scene at the end which kind of oh okay now I'm interested to see where this is going for some other shows are coming and there's a news that dropped today about people returning to another Marvel show so and with the end that post-grad scene it makes sense that those characters are coming back so I enjoyed it second-watches I got to know anything about just did it need to be a TV show for this character yeah whatever is this one thing with Agata hardness or whatever I don't care for that show but we'll see what it comes up all right so that brings an end to war between fandoms and actually an end to a return to podcast and to doing all this look at that I gotta go it's start I mean the NFL post-season just started a play of you guys lost me the Jaguars didn't make it even though they had been leading the whole year and they just about my Dallas Cowboys on the playoff tomorrow they'll be playing do you have like three different teams I have to look at Alan saying really I'm shooting a gay club it will probably happen to me Dallas Cowboys that's how it would have been my favorite team for 30 years now but living in Florida I had to choose a Florida team to rally behind and for the past like four or five years the Jaguars have been and they've sought they finally got better this past two years and they just choked on it the last six seasons six weeks of the six hundred and quick quick mention talking about Florida sports I went to a Tampa hockey game it was very good I had a ton of fun I haven't been to a hockey game I really want to so it's the closest to soccer American sports it's gonna get and I know you guys have soccer it's
