The Rebellion for Build on Hooks And welcome to another episode of Radio Rebej There's a little bit of news Or there's rumblings I should say One of them is And the other news we'll talk about Is actual, I don't know how much we can stretch that That little sentence out Look at that. Oh, there you go. Back on the race story. Who would have thought Almost ten years ago that little Ray Who would have thought that the main character of a star was really looking at more stories?

We get more stories and people would be Because they're just ridiculous. But we'll get into all that in a couple of minutes. Thanks to everyone that's joining us today. As always, thanks for being here.

And this is Star Wars Saturday. Make sure you like this video. Comment down below if you're watching this later on the replay. Make sure you subscribe to our channel so you don't miss any of the videos where they drop.

And if you listen to this on the other podcast also, thank you. If you can't, if you can, we'll be listening to this. With that, just quick announcement. We're going to be participating in the Star Wars podcast day 2024 again this year.

The anniversary of Star Wars podcast day. And we decided, you know what, 25 years since 1999, It's only 25 years, also 25 years from the release of the Phantom Menace. Let's go ahead and look at the first movie from the prequel trilogy. If there's one movie that's gone all the way, it came from 180.

When it came out in general, the Phantom Men. It's the overall feel for a lot of people with the prequel trilogy, especially the Phantom Menace. And this past, I don't know, five or six years is a big revival. So it's going to be fun to talk about that one.

We will definitely get to it when we talk about it. But it's definitely interesting because it went from, It's terrible to, okay, the prequels are interesting, but the Phantom Menace is still bad too. No, it's great. Yeah.

And I, when I, it's been about two and a half years since I watched it. I did my whole rewatch. I found myself really enjoying that movie. So I'm going to watch it again before we do our, our talking on it.

And again, this is going to be our first show in February. I think it's February 3rd here on our channel. And then we'll release it on the podcast on the actual Star Wars podcast there, which is that Wednesday February 7th, if I'm not mistaken. Okay.

Cool. All right. So with that, I should say it's going to be most likely a quick short, easy show today. Again, we got a couple of topics, nothing too major, but we'll see.

So with that said, if you guys are ready, I'm not ready. Let's talk Star Wars and Star Wars news. Star Wars news. Who is news?

And we're going to start when I clump toward these news together. And what I'm just going to call these movie news because that's what it is. Just a brand new little segment inside a segment. So I was moving news and this is regarding race guy walker.

So we kind of tested at the beginning, this was announced back in. So celebration, the summer, last year or early, April, whenever salvation was coming out that a new race guy walker focused movie was coming out new day. I ordered it's going to be her rebuilding the order. Something to that effect.

Everything we know. Stephen Knight is writing the director's ready. We got all the set. And then at some point last week, I don't know who it was.

There was some conflicting reports. Oh, no, don't credit this person. Please. No, I won't.

I cannot say big news, big report. They see really smooth. He has been delayed. And Stephen Knight doesn't know what he's doing.

He might be replaced. And a couple of hours, I guess it took for Lucas. You know what? We're doing this.

I think someone reached out to them or I don't know what happened. I wasn't from IO9. I can't remember the name, but thank you. Yeah.

So a reference to the bundle through Morris and said that all was moving forward. And then I went crazy with everyone just taking sides. So I want to start with one thing. Delayed indefinitely.

Delayed from when? Because we have no idea when this movie is coming out. So we don't know when it's shooting. So that's what was weird for me.

When that came out. We don't even know when this is coming out. So, yeah. I don't know.

I think the reason it's spread like wildfire that quickly is because there's like a lot of people. I don't know. I don't know. I think the reason it's spread like wildfire that quickly is because there's like a lot of people.

Yeah. And you know, with the new announcement for the Mandalorian movie, like it makes sense. It kind of made sense if this was the next movie for it to be late. So maybe that's why people are like, oh, this maybe makes sense.

Let me just retweet it without looking at the source. Yeah. When I first heard it already, I'm like, does it really matter? Because like you said, this movie, the movie is announced.

We don't know when it's coming out. Everyone's assuming it's that December, 2026. But I always go back to if they need more time to make sure these stories, the best way they make it. It doesn't matter.

But I'm glad that someone from Lukas, we came out to say no, that's false. We're still moving with those schedule, which again, we don't know what that is. But I'm glad they didn't let this kind of kick spread it like wildfire because it did in those couple of hours. But I'm glad they came out and kind of now it's don't don't believe everything you read out there.

Yeah. I mean, like sometimes I feel like they should really have to say anything. That's just me. It was something to that.

I kind of like like a rock and roll attitude. Like, I don't care. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, dude, I'll just get the value of I'm like, I'm like, so, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, then get into those. Who's voice singing?

Or how do I relax, who's listening? That's why I needed him. I'd just definitely do one, right? But the other thing, while I'm birds so bored about that because I'm English people, when I say good language, I'm like, you know, I don't really have to say anything.

That's just me. It was something to that. I know. I kind of like our rock and roll attitude?

Like, I don't care, but I'll embrace it when we really say what? You come out and the bonk, you know, just, like you said, just forget, kind of close yourself off from the outside world and just keep doing what you're doing. It's kind of like when people started leaking, leaking, what James Gunn's universe was gonna be, oh, they're gonna keep up on mine. Oh, they're gonna be right back.

And like all those things. And I remember he, it was a very similar thing. He tweeted out like, there's a lot of things in this article that are not correct. So that's, and that's like an interesting thing because then people started going like, oh, I wonder what it is.

But I'm gonna congratulate myself because I said I like that rock and roll edits. I kind of like that Lucasfilm isn't spoon fitting us with things. Like, like, I kind of like the silence sometimes, but I also love James Gunn being like, that's not true. Yeah.

I like when he does, because he does a straight to the person that's doing it, especially people that make their living with all this fake rumors. I love when he comes down and just comes out on them. But we should know from last 15, 20 years that Lucasfilm especially when it comes to Star Wars, a pretty tight lip on what they let out. So we shouldn't be expecting all these big announcements just kind of all of us are not enough and it's kind of confirmed, especially something like this new rain movie.

I don't think we're gonna see anything maybe, maybe similar to the first awaken, so we got that cast photo from that script reading, maybe something like that to do it. And this is when it's coming out. There's a big picture of the forecast there. That'll be awesome.

Plus that cast review at that same time. Could you imagine like on a random Thursday, like classic, we get a picture of again, the people read and there we have John Boyega and Oscar Isaac and it's like, pretty production or something like that. That would be awesome. That would be awesome.

And that's what we're talking about. Just a picture of the three of them in Lucasfilm. Like, from the Yoda Sanjid. I need that.

I need that now. I'm still holding out hope. I'm very high that John Boyega will be there. I mean, he's been like, maybe whatever.

Yeah, the script is right. Again, it's when Rice's Skywalker came out and they were both like, we are done. We are never doing this again. Everyone's like, say again, and like the other side was like, like, never say never.

Like, yes, and seeing them soften up and be like, I like the Disney money. Yeah. I mean, who wouldn't? I mean, that league salary for these are really good.

Good for her. Get paid. Get offered a lot for those three movies and she's been doing a lot of other stuff. So, good for her.

It's funny talking about the documentary on the new Mandalorian movie. No one, I don't remember seeing anyone talking about this. And where Philone was, I got that promotion to executive vice president or whatever he is and everyone was saying, oh, everything's gonna be so good. It's gonna be this or that.

And then the first movie that gets kind of pushed for is the Mandalorian movie with him right there and no one came out to say, see, that was his first act. That's executive vice president. Anyway, we'll see how that goes. Essentially, she's creative opposite.

I don't know. Probably. Whatever falls on their president. So keeping up with Ray, and this might be a little bit, I don't know what to do.

I'm very sorry. Let's say, I'm very sorry. Jeff's now the recently revealed in his newsletter that Sean Levi's Star Wars movie might also involve Ray Skywalker somehow. A little bit surprised because we don't know anything about Sean Levi's movie.

When he's got a place, characters, what the movies about, he still has Deadpool 3, another Ryan Johnson thing that is around Netflix, plus Rangers things that started to shoot. So we have, this might never come out in this decade, maybe 2030. We talked a little bit less than I think about this. At least they're gonna be a Twiddle-lea or whatever.

And the past we talked about is, could this be a continuation of this story? I don't remember when that Sean Levi news came out. Was it like he had a story that he wanted to tell in Star Wars or? No, I don't really remember.

Yeah, I don't remember what it was. So you think the one that had the story was John Watts and then Pharaoh was like, no, come over here. What do you think about this? Do you think that may Sean Levi's doing it?

Let's change a little bit. If Ray's Skywalker shows up in this movie, do you think it's a continuation or would you prefer this is a totally separate thing and then Ray's there somehow, involves somehow? It would be very interesting if Ray's movie launches a sub-franchise when the story sort of Mandalorian has. And the Sean Levi movie is spinning off of that.

I had a secret thought. I'm letting my mind go wild. What are you, they're talking to Sean Levi? As I've said, this is going to be episode 10 of 11.

Yeah. Well, I don't know what he does the second one. And then before the third one, Ryan Johnson comes in and we get this reveal like this is my trillity. Like this helps spearhead this or something.

He just writes all three. Oh, I don't think Ryan Johnson will just come back for the last one. I thought you were going to go with J.A. But please, everyone half of that.

I wouldn't mind. I don't mind. J.A. and Tario writing episode.

I will, if this Ray thing is a trillity, which I think we both have come in a very similar position or eternal thought, I just want that one writer. It doesn't have Stephen Knight right all three. And then if you bring a new director and then you want to tweak a couple of things here and there, that's fine. But don't bring a writing and a director in two of for each one.

I think that was a problem for the sequel trilogy. No, I agree. Even though the J.A.1, like the first one was cast and which is classic stars and then Tario who has this crazy idea sometimes. Yeah.

It was supposed to write first art. Michael art wasn't right. He was the first draft and then they changed with J.A. and cast and image.

He wrote Lucas's script. He's a lot of stuff. But how on that guy has? So I'm not opposed to Ray showing up in Sean Lee Vice movie, but I don't know how true.

I don't know because we have we don't know anything about his plan for his Star Wars movie. So this is kind of, yeah, it's cool. But apart from that, there's really nothing more to talk about it. Yeah.

We'll see. I want to know more. Yeah. I keep saying that every time we talk about it because we literally don't know it.

So when before we jump to our other topic, when are we going to start learning more about what's coming this year? Because everyone on Twitter is a mostly bad batch trailer. Where's I going to come in hours? Can I talk to you like it's been a few months where you know the answer to this on a random Tuesday.

So maybe days from now we'll get something. I think maybe February, like a good time to maybe make an like a poster probably like a backpack season three poster with the date on it. And then like that hype starts building. I think I start releasing something maybe March.

Like the first let's say the first thing is bad batch usually. I'll say the same thing. I always say they don't need to do anything. It'll be nice if they release a poster trailer whatever that's in February and then March.

It comes out. I mean, and batch is like a longer show. Yeah. Accolite or probably skeleton crew.

So it would make sense like March goal the way to make. In August. Do you think I know a lot of people have issues with season two of batch being another season two with the Mandalorian being released where there's still about three or four episodes of the bad batch and they kind of always took. Do you think they might do the same thing?

There's less stories coming out this year I think so maybe they can spread it out a little bit. I mean. I personally did not mind that happening. I understand like why people would mind it.

I think it could happen because again bad batch is a longer show. So maybe you start getting into constraints because oh we don't want to release accolite later in the summer because this other Marvel show is coming out. Yeah. Alright, let me know what they do with echo with what if every couple of days you've released any episode.

I know people are not going to like that but I don't know. They think it's been experimenting a lot with their release schedule recently. Who knows. Alright, so our last new session of the day during last Sunday's and it's the only one I was asked about season two of Andrew.

He went on to say that I have seven days tomorrow. I am flying back to London and we are finishing this. So that's tomorrow. Seven days is tomorrow.

Okay. Are you excited now that Andrew season two could finish shooting tomorrow and then hopefully the end of the year we see something. I had the same feeling when I remember that picture of Jay Day with the when they wrapped the skywalker and it's the same feeling here. Like I'm glad to know that someone knows what that's worth.

So yeah, I'm excited. Yeah, I'm extremely excited. I couldn't find it again but there was an interview I came out a couple of days ago with the people Riley talking a little bit about season two that it's more emotional, more intense, more action, more all these and how excited she was for it. So it's like it's getting me hype.

The more I want to revisit that. This week I re-watched Michael Clayton which is a Tony Goli movie and that had me like a Tony Goli. I was like, yes, give me an hand. And there's that's I mean, what's in university below?

I know a few stories from one of my brothers and kind of fall in love with it as quickly as I did. So it's it's still has its whatever we all I can wait for more on a very specific day. I think and there could be my least favorite star show and I still love it. Again, the other thing on the show was just amazing.

Every time I think about and or and where would I rank it? Yeah, I can always still on there because of what those two characters mean. Ah, so I was just incredible with all the Jay, I'm an amazing season and the force but every week that we came to talk about and there's how do they keep up in every week? We say this show can get better.

We get back here. It was better was better was all the way to the intro episodes. So that's why I'm like, like you said, my not my favorite about you can deny how great that show was. I still remember like doing those first couple of episodes with Maggie.

I mean, like the show's good. What's what's Bob saying? Boy, you're saying how many of you started and on Thursday, we're very excited for it. Yeah, I haven't watched it since.

I haven't I'm very bad into watching Star Wars shows. I usually watch it two or three times when they come out like each episode during the week but then just going back and restart everything. I'm not with it. Even though I just watched for the third time for the power.

I had like with the exception of far far away, which I rewatched like six times. I don't really go back. Season two of fantasy will be interesting and different from the first one because it's as we know it's like three years, right? So every chunk every four episodes I believe will be a year, you know, that it gets to the top.

So that's going to be interesting to see how they do that time, Jiopp, who shows up and what these stories. It's all the characters. What are they going to be focusing on? It's going to be like the first season on steroids because it happens in four, like every bunch of episodes, like a saga or something.

And here it's like, no, it's a whole year. Yeah. But it's even known I love when they are going to talk about it that he loves that there's a ending. It's good to know that what they're shooting for.

But we can of course, you know how, what are these stories going to end if we believe that this is on ends the way. Rock one story. So we know where they're heading. But to see how much she gets to that point because we're starting to run off and trying to find what he was trying to do.

Because of course, everything with Mon Mothma and with Luthan, Sog and Red, I still going to be there. So I'm going to have a watch. Bellancinta, Cyril, and Deidra. I think that's one of the best things that showed it.

It's like, yes, it has a book end. But I introduced so many characters that we just don't know. I think that was big. I think that Andrew did great.

A lot of shows do great. And sometimes some other Star Wars shows, for some people, they don't focus on some of those new characters too much. So they introduced all these characters and gave them all meaningful arcs. And a lot of times, it was just kind of rush.

Again, having 12 episodes, kind of help instead of having six, seven, right? Just something I wish I did for more than Star Wars shows. It was more episodes, maybe not 15 or 16, but 10 or 12. Give us that.

So very sorry for the system to Andrew. Very excited to know that hopefully it ends real mean tomorrow. And then we start getting more official news about some pictures up there. All right.

So that does it for, yeah, you're jumping the gun bug. We're going there right now. That's it for Star Wars news for the day. Like I mentioned at the beginning, a lot of official Star Wars stuff to talk about today.

So that's it for Star Wars. We're going to go real quick to that segment when it talks about something else and Star Wars in a world between fans. All right. So what between fans and bug?

Put that comment up right there. If you can, so bug, right? News is that since there has been cast at the next companion of Doctor Who. Here we go.

So changing companion for deadline. And I hate this head. There is this is the first sentence from this deadline article that we will see and that will have reportedly recast mainly gives on a daughter who's recast recast. It's assistant after she filmed just one season as shooting a sidekick.

Gibson will be replaced by Andor is Varada Setu who played Sinta cast in Andor. So she's your three for Andor season two to Doctor Who, which is great for her. I love it. I'm going to be leaving because I'm not just that line.

This was heavily reported yesterday. They changed companions every couple of years. Some of them it's only one season or even less. This is no news.

I want to talk about something first. When this first came out, it came out from certain outlets that report on Sports Hall on Soccer specifically. And you know, we talk a lot about grifters and heading for clicks. These outlets are the kings of going for clicks, especially when it comes to sports.

I'm right though, it's egregious the things they make up. You'll have someone say something and they'll be like, they'll quote them, like, oh, this is what they said. And then you watch the video. That's not what they said.

It's not even the same words. What are you doing? And they'll literally take anything. Oh, this player wasn't smiling at the end of the game.

That means he's leaving. Agent confirmed. It's like, what? So when I first saw it, I was like, oh, they're just staring at shit.

They know there's grifters out there. I've seen the hate to shoot the and what's happening to the franchise. And I was like, OK, they're going for the clicks. But then when I saw the variety, I was like, oh, OK.

I think they were the first few chocolates. And they're like, no, we checked this out. I'll tell you this. I was bomb.

I know companions come and go. And it changes a constant in Doctor Who. But I really liked her as a companion. I thought she had potential to go for a while, maybe like an Amy or something like that.

I mean, I like Senta as a companion. I think she has potential. We've seen her dark side. So she could be an interesting companion.

Yeah. To me, this is no news. It's just people reporting on something that's going to happen. You're going to have her now because season one or series one hasn't even started.

Right? That first episode that was still Christmas special. So really gives us rose. Hasn't even started yet.

Hasn't started yet. And if she does leave at the end of this first season, she won't be the first companion to change after a season. Even rose that we all love. I know she got two season.

It felt like more. Most people think of her with David Tenon. They forget a little bit about her time with Eggos. We almost feel like a season.

And then I know. And then you'll see this and I'll come back later when you keep going. That also was there. Like a year.

Like a season. Sorry. Bill. Yeah.

So Bill at the end with Capaldi is also one season. And Martha's one season. Donna's one season. Yeah.

So this is in terms of, oh no, they're changing companions after a year. Yeah, this is what Dr. Hudos a lot of times. It takes an Amy was a year and a half or a season and a half before it changed.

If I write. No, it was ever a while. It was two and a half seasons. Okay.

So my bad. But anyway, this happens. It's just that we get so much information now. It's just you don't need to report about something that's going to happen two years from now.

And it's just a waste report. Like, Dr. Housa, a season that's recast because his side takes it. Do you even know the show?

Just leave it. We don't know the story for Ruby. Maybe one season is only a little bit of the story. I mean, from what we saw from the special, this couldn't make sense because her family is very like, yeah, like Ruby's like a kind of different companion, like, you know, until the part I'm in.

Companions are usually like half lives and are seeking something else. We'll be like, you know, like a pretty sure life. If you have a look, yeah, it's not her fault. Just the goings.

So we'll see how that goes. I had something else. I just lost it about this. I don't remember.

Anyway, they said maze when they see some stars. So I'm excited for this to come out officially and see where everything goes. I'm currently I've slowed down my watch. Oh, Dr.

Housa, Dr. Housa, I last night I saw an episode that I love. Listen, my name, I don't know what that is. It's the one where the doctor is obsessed with finding out what's like under the bed, like that presence we can't see, but that's a great one.

That was amazing. That choice was like, that's awesome. And I don't think you've gotten to it. I just complain opposite.

It's one with Robin Hood. It's I like that episode. Oh, I love it. I don't know.

I just so silly. I love it. I didn't like it. Don't even love it.

But with that episode, listen, I love that it ties into that thing with Clara that she's everywhere in the doctor's history. It was so, so good. Again, you're getting into every one. I got to start a real watch soon.

I remember what I was going to say is even companions come back. A lot of these companions are being the images were one season or two. They keep showing up. I mean, it doesn't mean we won't see Ruby again.

In the giggle, we got Melanie, who was a companion in the previous show. I think she's coming back from another episode. I've seen her again. So, Sarah Dayne came back.

Every season. And so, one reply to my post about it saying that they saw Milly Gizmo supposedly signed for two specials after this first season. So, again, I still take a lot of this with a grain of salt. So, because we haven't seen even a single episode about it.

All right. So anything else? What do you want to talk about today? I love Dr.

Ho. All right. We love Dr. Ho.

And hopefully we'll get your show to come out soon. Oh, first episode coming out this Tuesday. It's a regeneration episode. It's Tony, I mean, just talking about Dr.

Ho with no plan or agenda. Our second episode we're aiming to launch, that will be like the official first episode. But we got for that. We invited you.

So, we have. Yeah. What next week? All right.

We'll get into it. I know the other. So, next week is your episode zero, you're getting everything written in episode one. I'm coming.

All right. So that does it for us this week. I kind of mentioned it's gonna be a short episode today, which is fine. Hopefully we'll be back next week.

If there is more so-as-news, if not, we'll figure something out. And then after that is our so-as-podcast day where we'll do our 25th anniversary review, not review, talk on the Phantom Menace. All right. Anything else before we say bye?

Don't follow me. Follow Fat Wolf broadcast. All right. Fat Wolf on this for FNI.

I got to start putting that on the on the show notes below on the yeah, whatever you call it. All right. So we're back next week. See you.

Stay safe. No time.
