The Jedi live in a dream a dream they believe everyone shares If you attack a Jedi with a weapon you will fail Steel or laser are no threat to them But an acolyte an acolyte kills without a weapon an acolyte kills the dream The balance builds on hope And welcome to another episode of Raider Rebellion A new Star Wars podcast I'm your host, Aventoka Dereld Hopefully we didn't get copyrighted but over there It's like a host, Aoty, Wanken, Oui And join us for our first acolyte special This is our special guest, Alan! We don't need to keep going, we're ready to Alright, sorry for you guys already, I'm not ready, let's talk Star Wars And Star Wars on TV Star Wars on TV, sorry I don't have a fancy title for the acolyte recap Like everyone out there, hang on My favorite one is the Star Wars Explained, acolyte's out I'll say, I'm joking, we don't have a cool name, I'm not bashing anyone All the names out there are great, so give it up, we'll have Star Wars on TV That's all we need, this is too big, sorry, I'm gonna take this out, just do it Anyway, so the first two episodes of the acolyte dropped finally after years Of waiting for them, lost, found and revenge, justice Finally came out, before we start jumping and breaking everything down Alan, I mentioned before we started, you got a chance to watch those two episodes In the movie theaters a couple of days before they drop official on Disney Because I was that experienced like Oh yeah, it was an awesome experience, so here in California They had it at the AMC theater over in Orange at the block So, went right away, just now I got some tickets Over there it was pretty packed, a lot of people I think that went to Star Wars celebration from Anaheim It was a lot of the same crew there, it was a packed theater I brought light, my lightsaber, they had a little, you know If you saw my Instagram, you saw I was able to do the step and repeat I was really excited to do that, especially because I didn't get an invite to the official Morning Hollywood, I really tried, well, I was telling my husband, I'm gonna do it Just watch, but it's very, in my delusions, but I think I almost, but Hey, I got to see it in the theater, it was awesome, they put it in Dolby Cinema It was so much hype, we all lit up, they gave us free popcorn And drinks, and then after I was, they gave us a little like poster It was really nice smack for that, but like hearing the full sound and just Just that opening sound, opening scene with May and Indara singing that on the screen Oh my gosh, that could not be the best way to start I mean, I saw that from the Phantom Menace You know, they had a little abridged version of that, but it seemed full sequence just like that It was the right thing, it got, it got me so high So awesome Yeah All day before we start breaking everything down, we'll probably go by characters Kind of what happened to each of those characters, how there's always my interconnector My move forward, we start off going scene by scene, but just overall your initial reaction Has it changed, I'm guessing you've seen it more than once Oh, same advice, it seems That's great How are your thoughts from the initial viewing to afterwards, if there was any change, I guess Oh no, no, no change whatsoever I really liked it, surprise surprise The person who last week claimed they already liked the show, yeah, I liked it It was everything I thought it was gonna be And not enough Like so far there have been no curveballs or no surprises, I would say But it's not really a bad thing, my hopes were really really high up And they're so high up because it was great Yeah, I love this show Again, it's only two episodes, might be my Rose Shower Gladess because it's the brand new shiny thing in Star Wars I've watched it three times already I love it even more every time that I watch it Any minor thing I might complain, not complain, but maybe nitpick a little bit have gone The runtime was great, around 40 minutes each episode, they didn't feel rushed And they didn't feel either long or slow This is a series that depending on how those first couple of minutes go or half of the first episode episode people can start saying, oh, it's too slow for my taste or whatever Not the main story because we still didn't open it, but some of the bits went very quickly But let's start right there at the beginning Before we get like, I mentioned to that fight between Indara and May The crawl, Otty, we didn't get a picture, it's not a crawl, but they did a pan down anyway Can I have like two minutes? Yeah Lucasfilm Happy, happy Why are we so afraid of the crawl? Do you want it?

Like, no way Yes, there's gonna be criticism, there's gonna be people that's a movie thing Why is it on a TV show? But come on, if we're doing the words in blue and we're gonna pan down Do the freaking crawl, I'm pretty sure Leslie Hetland wanted to do a crawl Let's do it Let's go ahead and do it, it's not a secret thing And I don't know, jumping into a new era of Star Wars, make us feel at home Half the long time ago in a galaxy far far away The freaking books have a crawl Books, yes The comics, every picture has a crawl So close, so close You know what when they did the pan down, I was like, oh, that's clever But come on, do it I think that was maybe like you said she probably wanted a crawl And they said sorry that's a movie thing And she can at least get the pan down, give me one win I said, okay, we'll give you the pan Not that we'll do the solo thing, but not the original And this is a throwback to my last Jedi review I'm waiting for like a pan to the side It's always up without the pan to the side It's like a camera there and have like a straight pass by We have a face Ooh, scaring me Alan, no crawl But we got the three paragraphs And whatever's clinging on is that phrase Centuries without a war And then Michael and Rose are like, I just see you guys Are you okay with it? I guess you can, I mean the Jedi are known to hide stuff You know the thing about it, this is the first Star Wars project That my husband was in no background with the books No background with Star Wars whatsoever He can sort of get it right away You don't, it will incite people But you don't need it in your back, I'm sure So I think you don't need it just this yet Yeah, I mean, I'm glad that we got something Something we talked about last week That at least gave us something for people That are not familiar with the era To know what we're at So we're 100 years before the rise of the empire Supposedly Centuries without war You can, we'll see how they had Republic Face three ends And oh, there was a conflict, it wasn't a war The Republic wasn't really kind of into it It was just the Jedi and whatever But go ahead, update I'm usually the defender of inconsistencies And you may want to conflict it Top of the galaxy was taken over by the night Like it was a full on coup Space Burling War Was that? Space Burling Wall?

Literally It's like, if Germans were like, oh the 40s That was just a conflict Yeah, that's it, we'll see But the music In the music for the crawl When it was kind of going on the pam down It was great And then throughout that whole episode It was very stark I think all the other you tweeted about it Felt like Lukas Villem for John Williams That's tough If someone told me they found Audio clips that John Lennon said not use I would believe them because at the time I was like, is this like the prelude to the Asteroid theme? But that usually bucks me by the way Because I want people to do different things But here, I don't know, it made me feel at home I don't know My only criticism is the same one I have With all the new Star Wars show Just give me that freaking voice theme Just don't be afraid When you make a stalker handout Just a little note and then let it fade away Because it still doesn't have it Mando is the only one that has used it, right? I mean, we can only have it at the end Oh, right And I think Ahsoka had it hidden When they're looking for Ahsoka after she falls in the water And freaking Jason is like, I feel like he's like, let's say He's kind of hidden Just give it, give it to me But apart from that, great music throughout the whole episode Alan, what do you think? Let's go a little bit to the visual style Because this felt, I know that we've talked about it with Ahsoka And with some of the other shows, it felt like a movie It's like, I don't know, I think it doesn't seem like a TV show When you watch later, Dr.

Who, which we'll talk about it It looks like a TV show, it's not bad It's not that big on it It's felt different Had a little grainy Kind of look to the film They didn't look digital A bunch of droids A bunch of colors That streets were packed with people There's vendors There's speeders going by I feel like I lived in the world Had that feeling where you're watching it Alan, both in the theaters And I guess for you who watched it in the theaters It seemed like a movie Or was it a TV show you're screwed on the base screen? Half of it definitely did feel like still a Disney But the opening seemed really set apart And especially knowing that Kill Bill And a lot of different martial arts films And Wushu with the wire work And the specific going from one level up to the next These are high level action So I was really impressed with that even my husband It was really enthralled by all the fight scenes Oh, before you're watching it Do you feel like they look like a different type of star wars? Or in terms of its own thing Like we know that Leslie Hale and I want to talk about it And do a Leslie Hale and show An original style that she used for Kind of these first two episodes I mean like if you compare it to Obi-Wan Kenobi Like yeah, I know Special most sets look like sets And it is what it is But like I'm usually like not paying attention to those things And again going back to Obi-Wan Kenobi It's so obvious that it's the volume Like really? I'm sorry that we're on a show Wait, since I don't bother me Cause yeah, spaces are not real They need to build it or zine eye or volume it I don't care But one little nitpick I had on Ahsoka I don't think I ever mentioned it Was that some of the places that were kind of going through You would expect more people to either in more of a crowd It seemed very barren A lot of things And some of the way that the show was shot Was very okay Everything is in frame The actors are here and go And then everything happened There wasn't a lot of camera movements This show seems different There's a lot of There's that first scene where we made Osha And then she wakes up and goes to meet with her friend To go do Meg Next stuff And they're walking through that hallway And she said that something we don't get usually Star Wars I kind of track in show So I like seeing that But I like seeing that Yeah, this is a long ship that they're working to Was that a lot of cars?

So that's kind of the things I noticed I really enjoyed that That's a good information on probably Thank you I took Do you like seeing the planet names? A rogue one kind of callback to finally seeing planet George I immediately forgot them so no I don't have any name memorized on my notes It's gonna be helpful like when you read the book titles Or the book chapters That like you know exactly where the settings are Are we going to find out Alacos The only place I didn't get a name Was this Sith Wherever the city's saying you know That place didn't get a name We're gonna find out at some point And is it great Not great actual It's giving callbacks but yeah I'll say it's probably the same planet Where Toramin was at And she just went for a walk On the beach And then went back to the commute It does seem very similar Alright, so let's start with some of the characters And we got to start with Osha Also with Osha mandala's stan bird Completely like a wall as soon as she steps on screen Like I love her as Osha, I love Kind of a bad person, I love her as me But as Osha she brings some vulnerability to that character Especially when she meets Soul again in the ice planet We'll get to that later but Just love her already And Odi Make fun of me that twin theory I got it wrong I still think it was a great theory I'll say this, I appreciate that they did the thing I don't know if it was here on my show that I said it Like if they were gonna do the twin thing I really hope it was gonna be like quickly Yeah Within I think 15 minutes into a show Like you're like okay, they're probably twins I saw a lot of people have said being like Oh, they thought their big twist was clever And it's like it's a bit two episodes And they showed their hand 10 minutes into the first episode Like what big twist It's not a twist It's like it's what the show is about I'll give you a second Alan When we did our speculations Odi And I said, oh, they're not gonna reveal their big twist In the trailer with the captions I'm like, well, maybe it's not the big twist Exactly That's not the big twist That may not be into it Yeah, let's win I was still going, well, maybe it's not a vision Maybe this is in the past Are you okay with them being twins and the way it was Kind of revealed Alan Yeah, definitely It's pretty clear that I was surprised I thought that this would have been the thing that you'd save For the last, if this was like the big thing That he pulled a rug out And then you reveal that But from Osha's first introduction You can see in her I mean, I love shows like Olfram Black Where there's one character played That is the strength of that character At the actress With Amanda's face work You can see in her eyes that It's not told to you But you can see that Is this a different person? Because you can see in her eyes and her expression Because May has his frosty, this fear This need to prove herself But Osha, you can see the openness in her eyes And sort of a kindness and stuff And a lot of things that are reflected from You know, her master being sold To your point Alan, I like that And that's the testament to Amanda Like the way they're showing Just with her face At first when Osha wakes up I was like Is this gonna be like so from the point of view of the set That we're gonna see everything Even when they're not brooding But immediately like seeing her interactions with Fiv And the other I was like, okay, no, they're definitely friends I love, I use my family a lot of times The barometer for regular fans They watch it, they kind of glance at stuff My wife told me, don't you Press play on it without me being there She wanted to watch the show And after both episodes and this She's like, I really enjoyed it I'm glad that things got moving Like the twin thing didn't drag on Like the Jada already and all the twin sentences What happened, it wasn't just drag on for three episodes And she loves all right Cause you remember I can for Lee John Jay from that show Which I just wrote Yes, sorry from Squid Game, please Are you sure what I said? Yes, I said, yes, I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I agree, it's great, I said yeah, like but I love that it's been done I learned English in four months, four months I'm still struggling with it here Um, you know what, what's the surprise to me?

And I think for most people they haven't said Is that Osha was the one that trained as a Jada We all thought it was me That Jada that fell to the dark No, it's Osha, it's the other one So I love that was a cool twist for me Like, you know, it was Osha And she left six years ago for some reason But you know, I had very thought Here I am thinking like It wasn't even that hidden Like the subtitles gave it away There were two, they were Amanda was twice in the poster If you read the synopsis now It makes sense like the dual synopsis of the master and the writer So I don't know In this poster, you see there's two or three Yeah, exactly, exactly It wasn't really that hidden They just didn't outright say it Yeah, but that's great I hope, do you think I'm getting ahead of myself Well, we kind of She hasn't used the force or train us again I did that for six years We finally left the Jada over six years ago She tried using the force to grab PIP In that scene It stays kind of foreshadowing Similar to Sabine and Ahsoka That's all right By the end of the season one Show you the force And I'm gonna be doing it just like this That's a Star Wars trope Like, I think I'm really showing it to her Yeah, do you think Alan that I don't know if by the end We kind of all agree that Show you the force at some point this season You think she'll rejoin the Jada Or that at some point Between now and when the show ends In three or four years or seasons Do you think she might rejoin the order? I'm hoping it's for her I think she goes The Cal-Kestix Rode of having to earn her force For some of the least one One by really That's how I just She's gonna relive Order 66 even though it hasn't Yeah, four shots I see something happening in the home The years from now Yeah, no Like one thing right away that I Know is as far as we're the force Let You get to see how Terrible force visions are For whoever is coming out of it She wakes up in a panic Breathy just like how Anakin was tormented But she That's the only thing If she's shut up from the force Because she left the order Something that we don't know exactly If everything else she can't do But her force visions are still affecting her We see just how bad and how traumatic Like this is this a burden for any Jedi to have To be able to see something so terrible Not really know how to grapple with that And that's a cool point Alan Because it reminds me a little bit of the prologue To the last Jedi novel Where it's basically Luke, no I'm not an octo I'm caught up from the force And he's having these dreams And it's basically a force like You think you can cut yourself out From the force, like you think you can leave the fight Someone's allowed to knock on your door Oh look, it's like I didn't falcon Like that's So it's like that kind of thing Like And I kind of wish she does rejoin Because you can leave the shrine on an oat Where yes the Jedi are still And the downward spiral But make a story Where it's like But the order is still worth saving There's still something here that's worth being And I really would like her to rejoin Yeah, sorry Thanks, May, yes, or part of the one Or the end Do it No, no, no, no, no It's saying that he likes He was glad that they went with the twin thing right away Because we can explore that relationship And I agree Because one of my favorite moments is that scene I'm getting ahead of myself And they see each other And the facade breaks immediately She's like, oh, she? So we'll get to that, yeah I wanted to get together soon Not wait five episodes I want the conversation I want to They both think the other one died Which I mean, how did they both I mean, they both went to what the Jedi heard in What's going to happen? Torbin killed himself But before we get there She's working as a neck We'll pick the droid And with the name, Maude The answer is Hey, the Jedi Jedi Are they carrying snakes on that ship When they say, oh, the magnets are not too important Or cargo is Are they slaves down there?

I don't think we got less racist than Maude I was wearing them So fast When we watched Phantom Men as I knew They were like, oh, that's it I was like, oh, that's it Torb, go on So I was bad I was bad at it They look great I know they come back Build those puppets or whatever For two-minute scenes Bring them back, they look great With a giant freaking hat And I love by the way, we're setting up the The conflict like I know they have the Republic has their laws But we're at the Trade Federation We don't know what we want Yeah Do you enjoy the name Maudeans? Alan It was so extra The captain has all the little applets And like tassels and stuff It's just Biggest hat ever They're fabulous They're fabulous I'm still scared When you're again I just said you are without the yodhord But I'm making sure I'm about to do the mind trick No, no, no, no, no Stop sector 7 or whatever Come on, just throw up here Well, that's really the best Still they started building them right there When it's something to find out We got the vector We all we are seeing the right to the trader Look great with the little golden accents Biggest throw in Alan Can do everything You have a little thing Back there with the paper It's a sonic screwdriver Pretty much But yeah This one charges Your USB devices Oh, it's a charger? Yeah, it's a power bag Interesting Really grateful for Disney Sending it to me If you're new here, yes, we're Disney shows And we got all my Disney stuff from back here Alan basically lives in Disneyland Just pretty much Yeah, I think she'll Gonna hang over there What else? We really don't know why she left the order We know she was rescued when she was eight Supposedly May burn down the whole village Still her family and the Jedi rescued her Supposedly And then six years ago She left the order I think she says at some point That's because she couldn't get over Losing her family or something like that Do you think we'll get more into why she Decided to leave the order?

That's a hundred percent If they don't Very poor writing Do you have any ideas why Or thoughts on why she might have left? I think maybe She clearly has resentment for May Because she even shoots her Yeah, she shoots her twice So I don't know And she does mention like when May Started the fire that killed my entire family So maybe she just couldn't get over that Even though she knew she thought May was that I was sorry to twist your question I've heard that but I have a different question I found it interesting When Indara is fighting May and she removes the mouth face It's you And that was interesting because OSHA and Indara knew each other And I'm guessing they kind of had a relationship Because apparently Indara had a role She counseled her or something And that ended up with her leaving But I think like if she knew it was OSHA She would have been like OSHA? Not like it's you So I don't know I don't know Like maybe I'm looking too much into it In that moment When she pulls down you see the Exactly, exactly So she knows it's May then I would say Why are they hiding? Everything, everything they see around this place Which is why I said almost all my theories Already out the window And I love it Because I don't know anything that's going to happen Right now It's the go to a guy who will hide everything Never admit to him Baylor is not the greatest leader You hide it Yeah They're already hiding things And I'm getting ahead myself But where Vanessa tells Sol Hey, we're gonna keep it on the wraps That one of our own Kill a Jedi master But it's not our enemy is gonna use this against us So we gotta keep it on the wraps And move quick A little hole I'm so disappointed in this appointment in Bern But you know what?

Soling Jio's kind of on the same cramp So like I'm like a friend of a master Surprise Noah has said Really she had to take down the master Know who it was In Covid We didn't know who anyone was When you take the master Yeah There was like an ongoing off topic Someone in my world I visited like five or six times In a year period And with mass Yeah burned the evidence Hey Tony And the first time I saw him He saw me without the message Didn't know who I was I was like two weeks ago My favorite thing of Covid Was that no one recognized me with him No one came with that That was a good one Alright I will keep talking about Osha When we going to Master Sol But before we go there Let's talk about her sister Her twin In May May Anisea We meet her Fighting Master Endora No Spoilistevicos Everyone has seen this scene already But of course it's a longer scene I like Otigos mentioned that we will Oh it's you Great action sequence In that scene And then of course in her fight with Sol But I find it very interesting That May is looking for four Jedi masters Out of nowhere right As the eight two episodes go on We understand a little bit more of why Is this do you think Alan Deceis No she decided to go do this Or is this the way of this I'm just going to call him the Sita Prentice So since she's worthy of becoming his apprentice And go Go get a big sita boy This is his test for May Yeah, especially knowing that Kill Bill was an inspiration The four are a killless And this is this a mission of vengeance Revenge And from the title we We believe that she's part of Whatever secret order Maybe it's related to the mother's Called And that she's risking Being discovered by We know what the Jedi would do To honor force users in that But She has some stay She has something to prove to whoever Her master is to him She has to follow through An act like kills Without a weapon Steel or lasers Nothing can kill a Jedi That is so interesting Even by thinking about actually how She does Ultimately kill Indara with A blade But I think the deeper meaning I'll go into it a little bit Killing without a weapon Doesn't necessarily mean Something directly I think it's Her committing to her Revenge to vengeance is her weapon And the Jedi Because they're believing that She's going to protect the innocent That's what gives her the opportunity To kill Indara It's only in that moment And that's something that With each name she crosses out of her That's going to Prove herself to her master Make her worthy of being the acolyte Yes, I saw it from someone else Like she was able to kill Indara And attack in her compassion Right? We're not gonna let her kill the The bartender there with that little kid And then with Thor being it's Or his Pain deciding from all those years ago Just news that against him Like Jaime retold it Everyone has a weakness You just gotta find it But also I mentioned a couple weeks ago We always see Mae going for the lightsaber So the Jedi's lightsaber is that Is that Kill without a weapon Just kill them with the weapon Like reason is something on the inquisitor Is there or something You need to kill a Jedi with a weapon And then bleed them to become an inquisitor Gather then This is something that's out there I think And it's interesting Because she doesn't pick it up When Indara does that That's it I wonder I'm gonna Speculate So I think there's I have to earn it thing there So that's why she doesn't pick it up When Indara dies But I kind of think maybe she wants it Because she knows she needs to kill Teeth guy She's not going anywhere Without a lightsaber So maybe that's why she wants to I don't know It's interesting that she's constantly trying to grab it And then when it's on the floor Yeah I'm not picking it up Mo and they are in the shot now Hello Mo and they are in the shot But all your speculations And your comments and thoughts One more thing Also every single fight She starts attacking me with all your strength We're not as pissed off as you She's not going to attack someone from behind She needs to be able to prove to her To him That she's worthy Unless the Jedi comes with her with everything That they have And she starts to all fights without a weapon It's just going Very knuckle fighting Basically at the beginning They set to solo She threw the knife at the other his feet Little bit of jokes at the beginning When she goes attack me with all your mind And they're all the boy people They just break so forth I was going to mention it later I love all the endings that we got We got a section on the weird of Star Wars That we'll love We'll get to that What else? What else about me? Oh Separation 14 Torbin Oh the barrage vow We mentioned it last time I told you it was going to be kill Naka During the barrage vow You said That's the motivation That we got Don't mention the barrage vow So I'm surprised I'm extremely surprised Yeah, that's all right It's a very weird barrage vow Because it's like It's a city It's a temple People can feed you That's very easy buddy That's very easy Do you have tours?

You can win It's like Don't look at that guy He's just like floating There's someone who apparently cuts his hair Because it's Poorly I don't know I don't know who cuts his hair I have no beef with that cut I'll say it like I don't mind It's Star Wars It was a very silly make I kind of think that maybe he's going to be very prominent In the flashback scene That's why you cast it a younger actor And not an older actor But it was kind of distracting Is that correct? Killing himself again I can Poor Tommy Killing himself Yeah, it's a It's a way to love a rationalist I can't win the Jedi temple Next to the potekery If you need something There's vendors everywhere Just don't talk to people I guess that's it It's just about silence I guess No, it's a Condecanel Cause like Souls like pretty Nah, he'll talk to me I know it's like seeming 10 years But he'll talk to me He's so true of it We're all friends Maybe he'll talk to me We have a very bad secret together I can't feel chocked I know it a little bit last summer That's like a big so far So, I mean, Adam, we kind of all know that There's the reason that Almost what I call him Tommy That Tommy Bean is doing this barrage because of whatever happened 16 years ago When they picked up Oh yeah, right? Has to be something from that time Yeah, if Debbie has to be something That is very interesting This is the weight of everything So it's very cool thing That this version of the branch Vowels is just like He's completely shielded Even you can't catch I mean Punch Can't throw anything I don't know if they have to When he does have to Eat or anything They are like No, no, no, no But I guess it can It's just not talking to anyone It can just Yeah, as long as he doesn't have to talk It's hard And it also gives the technique To all the Jedi out there Just build a barrier No one can penetrate it We need that Did you find it very interesting That both of the twins Think the other one is there Like OSHA thinks that may burn down Everything And then may think that OSHA is there How I don't know I'm guessing she blames the Jedi So, I know that it's just thing to say right now So I want to, like you said Otilla, Tommy is going to be very prominent In the flashback we think Those flashbacks I think we're going to get a couple of episodes Just on Flash because Half of these stories happen back then Right? See, they released a teaser A couple of days ago And I wish I hadn't watched it At first it was just like Old scenes from the first episodes But then they cut to Next episodes and There were quite a few flashbacks Yeah And like, so all the different Hericode and Dara was back So I saw one people One person Oh really?

Carry on Mosh? Is Dara right? It's like I'm honestly like Very annoyed at a lot of the criticisms I've seen the show Like, I literally saw people I didn't understand anything I don't know why you would make a show for book fans And it's like There's literally Because even for Nesra It's so different From the books There's nothing connecting There's still a book It's a brand new story Like, no, I don't get it Like, come on Yeah, what is I've seen And I'm not talking about all the Biggats and racers out there I don't even pay attention to those commercials They're just throwing for views And it's so much A couple of people say That it looks cheap That the outfits don't look great It's like Are you watching the show? Like, it looks great It looks perfect Not perfect But it looks that quality It's very high quality I look steep It looks like a fan film It's like I don't know what show you're watching Every Jedi has an outfit change From inside the term Double to go in the top In the table row The mission row I want to put Tony for a second Just once?

You can Oh no, Tony's saying Do you know how expensive Carrie-Ann Moss would be To keep for all episodes Tony, without mentioning Matrix Resurrection Name two movies Carrie-Ann Moss has been in the past 10 years Oh wait You'll go into it and be in fine Oopsie I'll say Tony's only here for Alan And I know, so We're gonna make fun of him Very chance we get Um Alright, so again I just want to get into those flags We're actually really see what happened And I get With Uh, let's see, hello, has said From the beginning The show's not gonna go the way you think And there's two versions Basically, a very story Or three So I wanna see, I wanna see all those Unreliable Nyrators Like Souls version of it Maze version of it The truth in the middle I wanna get to that But before we get to that We are gonna go To everyone's favorite Jedi dad out there Master Soul Played by Legion Jay I mean No, no, no, no He is He is the Tom Hanks of this episode I have a moment that I love I adore him As soon I mean, I love him when he came up His relationship with Jackie Is great, he seems like a great master But is his father Dollar relationship he has with OSHA As soon as they meet In the snowy planet Just that phrase When he comes between Jackie and yours Like, OSHA and she just So I just like You know me I'm like, I'm breaking down I'm like It's me, my dad I'm helping raise this 24-year-old person Help raise me But okay, are they going to real quick Soul in general? Yeah By the way, Mo is making a very good point That's something that really bugs me Certain Star Wars fans cannot handle Unreliable narrators as we've learned And this is something that Four-centre always read Your mentions, whatever I can speak, I swear Character dialogue is not necessarily canon Like, just because a character says something Doesn't mean it's true Like, people lie, people You know, depends on a certain point of view So, that's a good point The scene I loved I'll write the like, I put it on Twitter Like, Jackie's like, wait She had a sister Do you think? And he's like, nope, absolutely not She's dead, I saw her I will sit here and brood with my arms crossed 20 minutes later Um, hey, Soul, I think, May That's the story, I think she's not like I believe you I believe you I believe you You have no more questions I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you Thanks, sorry, thanks a lot To the person here Oh, the Jedi help me And he turns to my head See, I told you Oh, that doesn't prove that she's innocent She's innocent She's my baby girl Oh my boy, he did such a great job As this daylight master Been there for decades in that position And just with that little kiss I hear something at the beginning But that every interaction he has Even with your, making fun of your Like everyone else is doing And trusting Jake in her first mission And speak freely You'll need to keep asking me Just do it And she knows that Oceans go through a lot So I gotta be more Kind of nurturing with her It's like At the same time I wanted to keep going At the end of that second episode We know he's going for Calnaca We gotta keep going We can't waste time going back to Coruscant I love you master Soul And then you're a great fighter Also Immediately it's on the Thirdly Jedi arts Yeah So I love my quotes Every time I talk about books I love my quotes I have three and they're out of order But our memories are lessons When Jackie comes When you keep that old holies Our memories are lessons Boom, perfect If this guilty is my failure Let me take accountability Who does that? Right?

We can utilize We can, yeah, yeah Trust the force We'll got it It's my failure Like I goes to your moving to the last day Like, or what is it that Yoda tells Luke Or failure so I get to Yeah The greatest teacher The other thing is And then at the end when He's oh trust me Like she's not gonna kill me Then trust me Like, oh you trusted me You haven't seen each other in six years But that bond is still there Allen any kind of soul For the soul patrol out there Any moment that stands out for you So that's it Yeah, no, this was the one character That I was very, very excited to witness Especially from seeing it early From meeting him Like this I mean I see so much of my immigrant parents Especially because I'm a first generation I was born here But both my parents came from the Philippines So much of his face His his mannerism The way that he talks And crosses his arm And just like Sorry and stuff So okay There's this very specific interaction That I had with my mother A couple of weeks ago So my younger sister just had her second child And we were just like Sort of like Meeting a little newborn I was helping Washing some dishes And my mother, you know We just like very close You know I'm just like Washing And then everything's so busy Everywhere I just like You know, quick little hug and stuff And then So she sort of pulls my arm up And she was like What's that? Well I've shown you This is my tattoo I mean I I love it This is my favorite tattoo My pride is still in Geos Tattoo But So she's like I wish you would I hope you don't get any more tattoo So remember that That so when Oja has her mecca She's like What's that? Oh, this is his pick This is his pick And then No That's that That's it Oh, it's a tattoo And you don't like it Oh, it doesn't matter what actually Oh, it does It is such such an Asian pair Especially because The generation, the culture Is different Especially you know With language and stuff Because they're bilingual They have so much things That are being said I don't understand Tagalog But I can get the tonality When she's talking about me Or my sibling And she doesn't like This or that Or whether she's looking at me And I so When I see soul When he's talking about Soul about Oja or me I see so much of my parents Both my parents In the And one other thing Thing My dad does it so many times When asking for his heel He'll cycle through My siblings We're a different agent The whole goal Leslie I think we're getting Deliberate amounts of Switching around from soul He is when he says No, I saw Maydai And you can see where his eyes are going Is he looking at Jackie? Is he remembering?

I know that there's Something deeper And that's going to be the big twist The truth of what happened With the twins on Brandoque And what does it relate to The four for Jedi There And it's interesting that he says that Line like it's impossible because I saw it Literally two scenes before He's telling the kids like Your eyes will deceive you Like your eyes will be feeling That's the jedi thing, right? So I'm dying to know if there's like Maybe he was misled Maybe he's like the one that I was not really aware of What's happening or something It could be a man Actually all the things just switch switch switch You don't know Oh, right Say hi to our new friend Our new friend Joseph Ritchie Said thanks for joining us So, you're going live It's fine for me and your Joseph Looks no We're doing fine I could like Do you think going in that same kind of vein I'm going to have our hearts broken When we find out what really happened on Brandoque And if Saul had something to do with it That we're here just Just singing his praises And then he I Or she doesn't like Oh my god How could Saul do this and Not ready for that? So my big theory Like I don't know exactly what happened I think he Yes, I think that's coming I think Oh, she's going to be very disappointed And I think we're going to It's again it's Star Wars tropes So I think She's there's going to be a fight between them Like a discussion And I think he's going to bite it at some point And that's maybe what's going to drive her To like come back or or something Yeah Yeah, I'm a fan Don't say that Don't say that Like let's be honest Like not to get into speculation for next week But I think I'll knock us That like I was Wait I think he's like It has like I think another jailer is going to die And the only one left is going to knock up Before Saul and Saul at least We know it's going to be there for a little bit more And it's going to knock up by it the next week It's a high probability one I don't know Also let's move a little bit to Saul's current palawan In Jackie And the Jackie Jam I will join together with Jackie Jam At the yard and the yard horde And how they have overtaken social media on the internet I'll be honest, I'm done with it I can't see any more yard stores But dude, it went off It's still going off But I like just those two characters And I guess how they're taking over social media Played by Daphneke and Charlie Barnet Hey, walking in You can see it like It's the return of El Darmain Just wait a minute Fresh looking I mean He presses everything Looks like He can't sit correctly He's like very funny down Just like Kate Fluff flowing This is a very fun character I was Well, because I From all the trailers, I was really interested in the yard And this Jedi that follows the rules Very Straight and narrow I love those characters I love those type of Jedi And he seemed a little bit aloof That first time I was like What's going on dude All your suggestions I grabbed No one wants them But second and third time I watched It wasn't Because I kind of expected what was coming So it wasn't as jarring I really enjoyed the character Apart from the fun we're having I don't know But yeah, it's like When we made him He's waiting for ocean He stands It's not sitting on his cape He has to stand up and just let it fall And pressing his He's waiting on an earring Was this weird for a Jedi that? Well, it's cool I love you He reminds me Of my other special boy Um, Cyril Kahn In the same way that they are both Massive losers And dork and dork And I love them What was that guy?

Well, we were in the description for The Lord, and I was like I'm not kind of like this guy I don't even know When like saw what it's like This guy's such a loser I love him I'm obsessed with him Like I'm Fully onboarded with a Yorta hoard And that's my That's my town Like And not into the Jackie jam But I do them like a moment for Jackie like when she's like, it's not he's just he's sure. I like I really like the character Jackie this part of one that's really sure of herself we thought about it all is a don't remind her of a young Ahsoka with her description we got from Leslie Helen it feels like it but I love the relationship that both her that she has with the org is the ceiling type of relationship reminded me for some reason Lisa and boy Simpson like that younger kid is the one that's together to get on the all the one doesn't know what's going on just being all crazy remind them of Lisa and boy and that's in it. Yeah. No, I just when he's oh I'm gonna go there with my blazer I got a stoner and then we get the sender and be done with it and that's what we're gonna do it.

We'll go with the other one. He's like, he reminds me I just had this realization he reminds me of Dewey and the swing franchise. I don't know if you guys have seen scream but when he like he's dealing with an F Campbell's character and his sister comes out and he's like mom said that when I'm in uniform you have to respect me. Yes, yes.

So he's definitely Dewey. It'll be great. But man, do you need to start wars fans and something like someone else posted. You know what that means?

Like part of the fandom, quote unquote fandom just arguing about stupid stuff. Well, three quarter of us are just making your memes for three days or something fun. Well, people yelling at each other about fire and space and we're like, yeah, you're so dumb. That's what we're doing.

At the same time people are like, oh, start with this kind of world message. That's what we're like. That guy's so funny. All right.

Yeah, you're this great. He wants to just go. The chat has caught fire. Joseph Ritchie is asking, do they mutually agree to the scour up?

Yes, I thought for it. Yeah, I think I said that maybe Sol wasn't a little. I think they're all under the law. I think they all know what they did.

Because he saw tells Renet's, oh, me and Indara safe, OSHA, she sees us as her protectors. I think it's no reason for her to go killing Dara. So if there's a cover up, he seems to be a part of it. All that's like you said, he wasn't there on the television.

Yeah, this is what happened. He kind of fell in line. So we're going to get there. And if I call me, I'm sorry.

I misspoke. I mean, OSHA. The swings are throwing me off. Twins are the same people.

We all know this. All right. So let's go to Kaimir. Mani Hasinto.

And we're just going to jump into it. Professor Quirrell. Professor Quirrell for her part of hands. Oh, okay.

Yeah. Next time we'll get to that. Okay. That's the new theory everyone has out there.

Is he the, from him, CFA parenthesis. That he just playing the drunken loop person and actually schooling the strings for me. He seems to know a lot about me and OSHA. He found out what Kornaka was.

He's making these voices. He's more to him than Miss D. I's. Okay.

We'll start with it. Well, you were watching it. Before we started, you started seeing any theories. I was watching this show that John Povar, he might be someone else or he's just a little, a little fun character.

No, while I was watching it, that moment when he's like the master, what this, I was like, are you the master? Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, okay, no, no master, okay. No master, okay. Far watch for no reason at all.

He doesn't know he's a master. This is Dr. Hootok, I'm sorry. Well, 15 minutes away from him.

I think there's more to him or maybe he's just an echo light. If he's got the master or the apprentice, he's the actual echo light because he's just hanging out with them. I thought that maybe him and me were competing at some point. Maybe he has his own plan to then be the follower of this city.

Well, I was watching. I'll be honest, I didn't pick up on anything on any of it. I'm like, yeah, he's helping her for some reason. So, I don't know what this deal is with May and this has to be something else, but I don't know what it is.

Never did it cut my eye that, oh, maybe he's the, that's the two-door elder putting the strings, which will be a great reveal. I don't like that now this is in my head and if it happens a bit now, of course. What is cool? Do you think this Alan?

Do you think he might be the puppet master, at least for May right now? Yeah, I definitely think he's definitely in the contenders for choices. You see that in his face when he does eventually see, you know, when they go through the Jedi plan to have OSHA switch in and he's on. Terrible plan, I'll say.

No, nothing. Nothing. Hi. Did you not know how to approach that?

He's like, hello. Right. I'm the only somebody there laughing. I told you it wasn't that way.

Hi. Hi. Oh, hi. That scene was great.

Like, Prostomaniacinto, that woman, when he's like, you look just like, he's scary. Yes, that's good. Only do I may at least switch to bumbling into it. Oh, no, don't shoot me.

But also, at that point, I was like, okay, he's playing them. But I kind of think he wasn't, because May was pissed off by him. He's like, bro, you played me? Yeah.

So I don't know. I don't know what's the steal. I mean, great thing about this show. There's so many unknowns right now.

Who's playing who's hiding the truth on 20 different levels? They're like, they say everyone's playing each other. It's great out there. So hopefully we'll find out more about Kynyr soon.

Real quick. Dale. Dale, Dale, Dale, Dale. I'm just not going to put every single comment up.

Hey, I have your conversation. I'm reading that. I have to say something interesting. I'll put it up.

Oh, man. Dale was. Dale, Dale was picking up fight with me. All right.

So we talked already a little bit about Carrie on Mars and Mastering Dara and Vanessa Rolle, Rebecca Henderson. I love hearing officially Master Verness Rolle being said on Live Action Show. It's great. Lovely character.

Then one of my favorites from the High Republic. I have some issues. Not issues. I consider how Nikita was going to move from the page to the screen.

I love the way Rebecca is playing her. But I still feel like Verness Rolle has been 100 years or 150. I don't know whether Phase 3 is at this point. She's had very different points in her life during the Friday storm and then potentially forced to how we see her here again.

It's been 100 years. We don't know what happened. Again, we'll see. I'm enjoying it.

It happened to see Verness and all her green glory. You know what? I'm going to be a guy. I think it was on a state to make her Verness Rolle.

I'm not upset or anything. Verness was one of my favorite High Republic characters. So I'm excited to see her on screen. I'm excited to see her light whip in action.

But like I'm constantly trying to reconcile my head is that Verness Rolle. And again, it's been 100 years. There's a lot of stories to tell for her. But I don't know.

It's kind of hard for me to reconcile that moment with our political enemies. I'm like, that's so not fun. Again, I know she's 16 at that point. I know people change.

I get it. But it's kind of weird. By the way, Joseph Ricci is saying that there are a lot of Easter eggs in these two episodes. And I'm pretty sure there are.

So if you guys have your favorites, just let us know. I'm terrible with Easter eggs. I constantly miss them. Yeah, that's why.

Anyway, what else do I have? I also found it. I don't know. When that first fight between Me and Indara, I think Me and Indara say something to all that.

Jedi don't kill or don't fight anyone that's on arm. And it's like, do you? Which then goes probably back to the back to the pass, to the flashwares. We're going to get very interested.

Interesting. Alright, Otti, some of our favorite stuff in Star Wars is when it gets weird and stupid. I think there was a lot of weird Star Wars in this episode. And it all goes to that prison ship, that prison transport ship.

All those prisoners were so weird. I got the, the guy with the tongue on his head, the little vise guy. Yeah, the other guy, the other guy, the joint chairs. The joint chairs are awesome.

Yeah. Do you have a favorite weird moment? At least on that scene, which was a great scene. I think my favorite weirdos in these two episodes were Ava chairs to the, you know, those, it was that scene, basically watching it.

Sorry. The face hugger. Also, the face hugger. It felt so Star Wars for me.

Like seeing that set and seeing everything, like it, I don't know, like it felt really at home like that weirdo with the visor. Like, I don't know. I like it. I love even going back to the opening scene, which we get about 10 brand new aliens just in that first scene.

That guy with a little, with a hat on the head. No, no, what's your model? It's so stupid. It looks great.

I felt like Star Wars. So Alan, any weird stuff. Why? So this is another prison ship that they trust to completely automate with droid and not one higher, what is the state with labor?

It's like, why can you hire one person? I don't know why they keep thrusting droids. Like, oh, no, magnets. That's not dangerous.

What droids? Prisoner actually, hi, Jack. Choice don't have rights in this point. It's a hyper public.

They catch this prisoner with this electronic phase that can control machines with his head and they don't take that off when they put them on, take it on the ink oscillator. But I love it. Yeah. Yes.

So some miscellaneous thing as we were wrapping up, we talked about the yord. Do you think yord, which is this by the book, even when he tells soul, oh, this is breaking article 15, blah, blah, blah, blah. Do you think yord is freaking weird? I don't think he'll fall to the dark side, but is he going to be with the solution by the order when he finds out the truth?

Because he's, oh, wait, maybe he had a twin like, oh, she had a twin. It's not in the object. It's not in her file. You're going to find out what happened in the past.

If you're just going to read the solution, that case, be of the audience. You're going to break and just going to jack it out of there. The thing that's going to happen, Alan, is going to stay too many times before he finds out anything. Hey, I think that they're very good at misdirecting us because we've seen in the trailers, the trailers, you know, he's one of them, and also Jackie fighting the Sith and soul to as well.

They could bite it. There's something in contention that could really hurt us. Yeah. Oh, my God, what freaking allergies?

Nothing in these first episodes have indicated me that he will fall. I think from what we have right now, I think it'll be more of breaking from his square ways. I think he'll loosen up a little bit. We'll see how that progresses or that changes, but Tony is making a comment that I want to highlight because it's one of my favorite moments.

Again, such a loser when he shows up in the name of the Republic and the Jedi Order. Come on, dude. Come on. For your hands up.

So many. And again, he's a necessary lightsaber ignition. There's nothing going on. There's a clear man.

You're going to ignite your saber. That cave wasn't that dark. No. It was Tony for a flashlight.

And by the way, I'm going to highlight something Joseph Rishi saying he doesn't understand what I'm saying about her Nestra. I don't know if you've read the hieropolic books and for anyone who hasn't read them, like, for Nestra's a character in those books. And Maisha's like her the way she is in the books. It's very different from the way she's in the show.

She's the books not together to detail her spoilers. She's very disillusioned with the Jedi Order at that moment. Yeah. And she's, you know, she's seeing the flaws and she's trying to make her own way forward.

And here, she's like very much an institutionalist from what we've seen. And for me, it's hard to reconcile those two things. That's like Maisha with it. We'll see if it gets better.

Maybe it's not. I mean, I agree 100%. This is something we've discussed for months before since the trailers came out. I've been on the, I don't know.

It doesn't feel like a Nestra. And it, again, it doesn't feel like 100%. Again, it's been decades since the end of the hieropolic to where we see her now. What's going on in the hieropolic book?

I try not to export it, especially Phase 3, from the Friday storm. This is a very different character to the one we're seeing on screen at the moment for those same reasons that Otis said maybe will change. So we don't know when she's become a master and things change when you're in the position of power. We'll see.

I see a good character. Maybe. Yeah, no, no. I have no issues with the character.

It's just like reconciling. And by the way, there's people who can't reconcile looking last year and I was looking return on the day. And that's fine too. Like it's all make believe we make them.

So it's not really a problem. It's just, I'm just thinking maybe it would have been better just to make it a new character. Hi to the guys from a certain point I asked you. I was trying to check the podcast also.

So just kind of finishing off. This is, I don't have a lot of information about this. Mind trick theory. Some people are talking about, don't use it in mind trick a lot.

You're going straight to use it against any more audience. So I'll use it again to clear the mind of the crazy person. Then he got into May's head to try to find out who the assistant was or her master. Ky made me say, no don't use your mind probe or whatever.

Did they use the mind trick like all those years ago? I don't know. Again, I read it once. I didn't put too much talking to it.

But maybe they're going to the mind trick too quickly. And we all know that shouldn't be invading people's mind. Anyway, it's an ordering decline. So we're going to see some questionable things.

I'm sure. All right. So any final thoughts right from the people in the chat or from you guys, we're going to talk about Chionnaka coming next week. We can't think of him by it, which will be a surprise.

And we're going to see how Wookiee-Jin I guess gets killed. So I don't say so easy, but in the next episode, so early, I should say so. I mean, that forest looks awfully familiar to where they fight fifth guy. So yeah, when I was looking at something I came up clip or something, I said that also looks whoever next or has a leg way to start cutting things down.

So does everyone make it there? You have to save Chionnaka. If her show is over with her like with to kick super face guys. Then the show's over.

Okay, we see how the master. There's a scene I'll talk about it. Maybe next week, you're on your master talk. I can't believe that in this show right now, all this is the one making all the Doctor Who jokes.

I never said not all. Tell me what back there is. You'll be like, I know you're making your Doctor Who puns. I mean, I love it.

But there's a scene at the close to the end, Intentional DeForest. Remember next, I'm like, oh my god, what's happening? I know you're alive. Here we go.

Next week, next week, we're talking about it. All right. So that does it for a chat on the first two episodes of the EcoLite. Again, come by next week.

We'll keep talking about it with our friend Arso Ami. We'll be here next week. We'll talk about F-O-Treme. We're also going to dive into Intentional DeForest, which comes out on Tuesday.

We'll talk about that here on Saturday. I'm not sure if we're going to do a spoiler or a non-spoiler review. We'll probably figure that out on the fly as we're going. I thought that before we jump into a world between Fandoms, anything else out there from the chat regarding the EcoLite or anything else.

No. Anything else? I don't know. Richard is saying something about Vren, but I'm not the one who's not understanding.

So did you want to go into some of the theory that I have? Yeah, I know. I don't know anybody that follows me online on Twitter, I don't know my chain. I threw out a really spoiler theory, especially because knowing that...

I can't swim through a few. No, no, no. No, I will be here live in a couple of weeks also. Well, I will be here.

I think so. I think we're missing Arshu next week and then Lauren Romo from the Galactic Potts. I'm missing Lauren. Sorry.

You'll be here for North Hall. Anyway, sorry, Alan. What's your favorite part? Let's...

I got to tie back to one of my favorite books from the Heart of the Park into the Dark. There's Four Jedi and we know that there's no city things going around. There's four Sith statues. We don't know what happened to any of those guys.

They could be related to the events on Brenda. We don't know if they're there, but if it's a city thing and we know how... if you have twins, there might be a diet, there might be something very consequential that the Jedi are bringing in to help with OSHA and maybe because there's something going on, something very uncontrollable. We don't know whether...

We hear that maze, the one that starts a fire, causes the rest of her family to... But we don't know if it's related to them being twins and being so powerful in the Force. If those four statues, we know that they're used to seal up a dark power and they're required for Jedi, a number of them, or needed to use that in order to seal them. Like a story like the Dark Phoenix, you're sealing away a crucial part of it and that really breaks OSHA or me.

We don't know exactly that. That is why Mei is so hell-bent because it either breaks her sister or breaks her and that's her reason for the vengeance because those four for Jedi did something in order to seal a Sith or a Dark Power within the two of them. And also because I've heard that Frozen was an inspiration. The Prose that makes skills.

Conceal don't feel high the power within the Jedi could be used in order to conceal the power within the twins. I remember word by word but there's also that poem they say to each other. Has it us? Kind of like are you saying?

Are you saying? We'll see. It's interesting. Maybe those witches, two powerful and dark side, and they need to bring those statues to contain the power and that's where hell breaks those.

Who knows? I saw them for Jedi, I thought I want to bring it back. I'm gonna now go like Otis said, I don't think they went to the books for this. I don't think they went that far.

Tony finally made a funny comment. I only took an hour and 20 minutes for it. Yeah, like my only explanation for why I don't think the statues is a real world answer which is boring. That's like when she came up with the show into the dark.

Wasn't there was anything yet? So I don't know. And I don't know. What I say doesn't matter.

But I kind of like the whole maybe there's stealing something off like I don't know. Yeah. Alright, I'm gonna find out soon. Norah like that period by the way.

I just love it. We're like, you were wrong about the twins. That's fine. Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Wait. You're gonna get him off this stage. My thing was like a talent show now. No, no, no.

No, it's just a talent show now. Alright. Okay. So we get into the world between bettings.

Oh, God. Sorry. Sorry. I hit that button.

That's always I got there. So we're talking about what else? Doctor who log. Great episode five.

Finally, it's been two weeks since we got a doctor centric episode. This was full on the doctor. Oh, the charm the hallway. Great episode.

We'll get to some of the best parts in a minute. Alan, your thoughts are a quick on Rogue episode one, six, we don't have two more to go. Hey, it's just in time for a prime month. Dave Bridgerton.

I mean, I've been wanting the doctor to be I wanted it to be for Jody's seasons for to be like so unabashedly romantic and you know, undeniably she could have had like a story with River. So you want to I want I want it. So I like if the doctors this wild thing, let him be this crazy swagger. Swagger.

I can have this boyfriend on this planet at this time and then we'll move on. I very much love this. It's my wife and daughter. I've been watching really late when they saw that clip for this week.

Oh, it's pretty. Of course we have to watch it. I mean, it starts right there. And yeah, this is so pretty.

You wanted to talk about that. Who that? I love this. I will be honest for a minute.

Like not from it. A couple minutes. I was like, where is this goal? Because we know the doctor and romance.

That's a recipe for disaster. It never really ends well. Like, river is this most stable relationship. And you know, that it's kind of tragic because they never meet at the right moment or anything.

So and Rose also ended badly. She got stuck in another dimension. So I was like, and when the proposal happened, I was like, what's going on? Like, are we having a happy ending here?

Like I was just so confused. But then I was like, Oh, no, we're retomped. We're retromatizing the doctor again. Oh, no.

And just I don't know, man, it was so sweet. Like even rogue sacrifice at the end. Like, I know you can't do it. So I'm not gonna make you do it.

It was great. It was awesome. Like, and I feared like that moment when he realized this ruby is stuck there. And he just put it there because he didn't check.

He led by emotion, by the way. And but also it's kind of that thing. Like, I lost track of her because I was basically chasing this boy. And I'm breaking my promise to her mom.

So it's also trying to get that way. But when he realizes it's her, and I immediately talk, okay, so she's gonna get lost. And the doctor is gonna do what the doctor does spiral completely out of control and spend three billion years trying to find her or something like that. I don't know.

So I don't know it. Like all the twists were perfectly perfectly for me because they all met something different for the doctor and something horrible. And that ending, man, when he's doing the same thing he always does, and it's the same thing he told David Tennant he couldn't do. He went through this thing.

He got his heart broken. He thought Ruby was gonna die onto an adventure. Nothing happened. And Ruby's like, no, you need.

And he's like, no, I can't stop. And it's like, you're doing it again. Right. I thought, immediately I thought about you how many times you said here on your show, this is a different doctor is out there with his emotion.

He doesn't hide it. He's open. And in that moment, when he said, no, we're gonna keep going. Like, no, it's doing like, well, it worked that ending.

The way you got edited, just going to that promise that he made to Ruby's mom that same time, like crap. He's gonna lose her. He's gonna fall down. You got to his other dimension.

I thought he, at that point, was gonna be the one to say, I'll find you. And then the next web is gonna be him. When I was rogue, which kind of easy push Ruby out of the way and go into the trap. Find me.

And like, okay, you'll come back. Jack harnessed to point two. We'll see you again. But that scene, and it's where I love and show this so much.

I can go through all the emotions. When he gets pissed off is and I said, oh, how long can they live? Whatever 600 years. Oh, perfect time for suffering or something.

His piss. Here we go. And then when he realizes the real Ruby and then he just breaks down. And then at the end, he's like, okay, we're done.

We're just gonna keep going. He's like, how many mojo say go through in 15 minutes? Like do it. Chill.

It was just great. I mentioned something very quickly. Tony, he texted me this. So he was amazed by it.

He loved the cut to Carla who's Ruby's mom. I was a little bit under the influence when he watched the episode. And when we hear her talk first and see the subtitles, it says Carla. I read Clara.

And I lost my, I lost my fucking mind. I was like, here we go. You're so much. No, I wasn't under the influence.

And I thought this same thing. Like what are you going on? Oh, no. Clara and then Maisie Williams.

Yeah. No, I thought we're going back to something. She said, well, just going to the beginning of the episode. I love when he's talking to Ruby a lot of the homatico earrings that come to play at the end.

But then all right, some, I don't know, something's happened. He we've sold the screwdriver, the sonic and the music is going and they just end up on rope. I thought it was a great transition the way the music worked. And then that little banter that they have off on that balcony was great.

And then oh, oh, that's my ship. No, this is a ship from that beautiful ship comes out. But it's all about where he gets trapped in the, I'm going to probably the try look. I can't remember what it was.

And they call him, I started to turn it off. Oh, that's just a screwdriver. Yeah, I can do a lot of stuff. And then put some of the music.

And then you get Calimino. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, great. You gotta give it up to and shoot it. The writers great transition.

And that seemed for you. Everything over there. Everything about if you only had five seconds to flirt, you could trust me to do it like that. It was so stellar to just like watch all that.

Yeah, I get that song. Can't get you out of my head. Perfect for the scene that's going. I guess.

That is just the only thing. It's not a criticism on the show. I would have given anything anything for the song to be playing to be one of Billy Piper's songs when she tried to be one of the most. Oh, we got some weird aliens on the show door taking over people.

What's that? A dig also on Twitter. There's aliens that feed on the round under birds. Like, is this Twitter?

They're talking about Twitter. They're like the modern Slo-lin. Yeah, it's so weird. Oh, let's kind of rap, you know, because we've gone long.

The Rogue mentions, oh, things have changed since the new boss took over. It's not the new boss from the memes boss. Every disconnect that, you know, your friend Tony over there, he says everything's connected from five years ago. So it's probably somewhat.

Tony has a theory. He doesn't have a theory. He's noticed something. I don't know if you guys have noticed.

He's saying that the Sonic's Red Diamond is changing colors. Sometimes it's blue. Sometimes it's red. Have you guys noticed that?

Oh, now that you mentioned it, yes. It was blue originally. But yesterday it was red. I think it's different.

Do you guys think that means anything? I haven't really thought about it. No idea. I'm going to see the doctor's emotions for a few years.

But I love, I also like the that proposal scene because you don't know. Is this a fake? How do you play when he runs out? Or is he really?

When it's both ways. Yeah. Jax has his reaction was like, oh, crap, are you really proposing? When he's outside, it's like, we played it all, but inside, it feels real.

And that's why I really like every single twist works in both directions. Because man, I said in the podcast, Russell T. Davis is freaking killing it. Like he's, again, he wasn't a bad writer by any stretch of the imagination.

But he's been phenomenal this season. Honestly. Yeah. Yeah.

All right. All right. All right. All in any final thoughts on this one.

And as we're heading out for the excuse me, last episode next week, which is the legend of Ruby Sunday or Ruby Road. And it's trying to figure out who the hell is. Waiting for the final twist. Yeah.

That twist was, I mean, that twist, not that that teaser. It really reminded me of bad wolf. Like, yeah, you're coming back with your friend. Okay.

Okay. And now it's coming back. Everyone. Everyone's coming back.

So Rose is there. Oh, yeah. Rose is showing up. Quick.

Quick. We get the obligatory scene of the doctor with the faces of the other dog. Oh, yeah. That was awesome.

It was nice. And I was gonna mention something else that I'm blanking on. I hate myself. I forgot.

Well, whatever there. Thanks to everyone who joined us today. So the remembers in the two minutes will take me to wrap up the show. He'll say it.

So thanks to everyone who joined the chat today. Like I mentioned, we back next week with our friend, always swam in talking the act like episode three and breaking down temptations of the four. So you have about five days to read it before we talk about it. Thanks to Tony.
