Periodontal disease (aka gum disease) is extremely preventable, treatable, and curable with proper testing and treatment. Oral health is important for your teeth, but don't forget that the mouth is the gateway to the rest of the body. Establishing an oral health routine can help prevent other illnesses down the line!
