Oh, it's great But let's start with Twitter and I guess your star wars social media I just went on a frenzy all the fans with their speculations I didn't hear you post anything where you just can't know because I knew it was nothing When has Empire magazine ever announced anything They usually give exclusives to vanity fairs or vanity fair posts. I would do it with this thing I mean don't get me wrong. I was very optimistic for something huge to come out But yeah, like on the other side was like they've never from what I know they've never had the exclusive on anything So I don't expect them to announce it always isn't too. Yeah.
Yeah. It was when I saw hello there I like wait, that's too specific like this is kenobi wise But like you said they're not gonna announce even if it was vanity fair they're not gonna announce a second season kenobi on an interview An interview and an article on Twitter like you said you're gonna random Tuesday on servers.com or something So that threw me off so people started saying maybe she has something while the phantom manage to be 25 years So like that makes more sense. I mean, nobody doesn't say hello there as far as I remember the phantom manners are like I don't know they know what they were doing. Oh, they knew and they told They did that mean it was great.
The further the further I went this maybe is an acolyte story Maybe something for the acolyte was the maybe that kind of makes sense. No, but why why hello there? But anyway great review with we got snippets of interviews And increasing talking about how great it's meant to see how defensive reacted to movies after 25 years I he and also one with I can Can't believe I just forgot his name, but I can't dream talking about how The guy from taking Lea Meezen saying how he and you want to get very hard the reception against the other events So I knew I'm at this they like a great job and they were laughing on set So they took that very personal but I can't just sing how everyone has grown up with those movies like we said last week And now everyone's very positive about it So that's great to hear now the actors kind of not hearing that about seeing that from the fans And the posters were great. Everyone was speaking all their favorite figures from that third one That that poster was very cool.
I mean if I always got some very cool covers for Star Wars movies and everything and this was not the exception Yeah, but I think that biggest surprise was when they drop I guess this morning saying that The Phantom Menace is coming back to the movie theaters with that great poster there I think that's Matt Ferguson Matt Ferguson at kicks coming to his handle Insane posters made a fourth week. So I think believe it's made May 3rd when this is coming out I know the answer is yes, are you gonna go watch this at the? Yes, I went to watch the return with the dead. I last year and it was very fun So and going to a pack theater to watch it wasn't very cool.
My girl my fiancee texted I mean, there's not really a word in Spanish. So we just say whatever it comes out There isn't a word in Spanish. It's not doesn't mean yeah So she texted me like why are they releasing it on the third and not on the fourth what I miss opportunity and I was like Okay Is it a Thursday or a Friday the third It's a Friday the product even released it on Thursday not anyway, so I'll try I'll try to make it to the return of the Jedi one I'll try to make it to this one and then I'm guessing do you think next year for that 20? I hope so I hope I really wish to release all of them like in the sense it's very weird if they don't release attack on the clones in between the two of them I remember when when the when they did the Phantom Menace in 3d I remember like people saying that they were gonna do all of them in 3d. I was just so excited to go to the stars and I kind of Yeah, I remember seeing the Phantom Menace on 3d on the the billboard on the just driving by the movie theater I think just said coming soon. I think it never came to that theater and then that picture shut down Which was the closest one to my house and now that's why I have to drive 30 minutes to this one But we're excited again the prequel quits are just loving this weekend All the tweets out there so we're very happy to see this. I said yes because I like the characters and my kids love star wars And at this point I just know when something's going to be good because you're really fighting the industry when you put your imprint on a franchise of that magnitude I feel like I have enough control and maybe red painted as a control freak control freak But it's like yeah control allows for the vision to be singular and if the vision is singular people want it more Unless it's singular the less people want it because they feel they could have made it look we're leaving a time where anybody can Fing make anything you can't take out there's literally every type of thing. There's the chemistry There's proper three there's yarn stop motion. So why would you want to see something you feel like you could have made? So a lot a lot to impact there.
Oh, the uh, let's start with Not everyone but a lot of people when they hear that one person was control of the whole story and they're the only ones doing it I'll just throw dayfillon here. I found the boss a little bit when people hear that dayfillonian I don't follow the only ones kind of writing everything and all right everything I saw a lot of people through myself sometimes So we need more voices different voices to tell a better story When you hear that don't know glauver saying like he has the whole control of this movie Do you feel any apprehension towards that or do you think it's going more of a creative side with the like he said the What is the industry the kind of way this new look as in world metal too much and he has control of everything He can kind of pick and choose who he wants to work with or whatever he wants to do. I mean I'm not worried about it. Um I I really just got hung up on the whole Faro and Filoni having full control on the show that's Um So if he got hired that's like my main thing with studios nowadays if they hire Um don't know glauver to tell this story let him tell the story you hired him for don't bring in other people to fix the Square because you don't like it in the end.

He sold you an idea execute that idea And I think that's like the biggest problem with with blockbusters nowadays even but buster tv shows They they bring in these people because oh the shake and whatnot They don't like what they did and they just start throwing money at it trying to patch it up and make a whole huge mess So no, I'm not worried that that'll go over has full control of the show. It's not like he's got upset in the atlanta universe It might be cool. But at the same time even though he has full control since I guess full control of the story He's going once to tell i'm sure he's still going to talk to the story group and all those people that work in the kind of keeping the whole canon Together to make sure everything's connected is not repeating something happen later and nothing gets messed up I should have said that's gonna happen again This that's not how anything is made like if people have like this conception that He's gonna go into a room write everything then he's gonna hide in a sound state shoot everything And then this we'll get to see it like no, that's not how this works That's not how any of this has ever worked or maybe sometimes it works like that I don't know but not with star wars not with when we're talking on hundreds of millions of dollars being ported So again, no i'm not worried at all.

I'm sometimes yeah A little when people have too much controls like you have to be open to other ideas. It's the only thing But I'm glad that this is still happening at some point 2027 who knows when this movie comes out again We didn't know about the Mando and Grogumoi just got announced.
So we didn't make one to come out But and we're gonna be talking about that afterwards. We got drug Mando and Grogumoi's coming out in 2026 If we get let's say the Filoni movie 2027 and then the Mando movie 2028 This comes out 2029 or I'm not convinced this is a movie like I'm not really convinced this is a movie We'll see Um, but yeah good for him to to be so excited to do it And I'm glad that he likes the characters his kids love Star Wars doing it for that love So in that sense, I'm happy and like we always say I'll be seated. I'll be watching I'll talk about it here Uh, all right. They don't want to be drowned They want to be just the highlight the only one I can remember we got a teaser for solo and then the full trailer the next day on good morning america Any chance we get I doubt that a bad batch second trailer Can we get something for the acolyte or anything Star Wars related? Do you think we'll be able during the Super Bowl tomorrow? If I had to bet no, I would not bet that something's gonna get announced.
I think that it would be A very good opportunity for Lucasfilm to throw in uh a teaser for the acolyte. Okay, have all those millions of viewers Watch this next star will show trailer, which is taking star wars for place They've never seen it before I think it would be a massive massive opportunity for them to promote this I would love it. I'm not betting anything on it. I don't think it's happening.
Um, I hope I think it might even be more of a Safer bet that they might even do a phantom manas thing That would be pretty cool. So it again, um, I don't think they're doing that for for the acolyte I wish but I'm I'm putting more chips in something phantom manas than I will on the acolyte although that that is a higher payoff that I want I was listening to Alex and Molly and star wars explained this morning and they were saying like maybe a sistle reel for the disney plus Like coming in 2020 board. This is all we're doing that could work and then we get like a mini teaser for acolyte and a mini teaser for Scott scot it in group. So we'll see We'll see and speaking of mini teasers and things we got today.

We thought it might come out 2023 got pushed to this year High republic in the middle of phase three. We're excited.

So let me go here real quick a non spoiler review for escape from valo The new high republic middle grade book by the neo-hostile there and alicia wong I just I just want to say if you want to go completely blank into this book Skip ahead because i've read those terrible with Wow, wow.
Oh, I even wrote stuff down to try to not Just one and analogy. I was going to make at one point was gonna be too big of a spoiler So I'm not going to do it, but uh, so spoiler review on the radio rebellion radio rebellion website You can read our spoiler review there. So here we have ramjomaran The delight pad that one from that then a hostel there brought to life in a bunch of his stories Uh, so after the fall of starlight beacon and this is i'm telling the first chapter So this is not really spoilers. This is in the back of the book Uh, so when you wanna make that call for all the jade i to come back to korosan after the fall of starlight in I mean horizon ram says, you know what?
I think i'll be a better help in my home planet of valo I gotta go help them out Then now I just came back after the republic fair that jade i won but they had to go do all the stuff Then i came back and now they're occupying valo and lonisa sitting so rams there as the scollet skull from midnight horizon that They're all bent off Murderers that he and wreath kind of played with and he joins with three jade i three jade i young list I should say which you'll you'll see only cover gavi tilde and teptep and they're joined by a young parrot in training sal keem So that's the main group being a middle grade book most of the characters are between 12 and 16 years of age Which are the people that are gonna be reading this book So it's great that both daniel and alisa decided to have those characters in that age of people that are reading all the young These are in this book feel related to those characters as always daniel and alisa great bring your representation to lgbtq communities So as you can expect that's even the book is done in a fantastic way It's not just oh, yeah, let me just write a character for the sake of it No, there's a story with them and it makes sense and you feel for those characters So again, please are in this i'm gonna feel connected to the character and that's always something great Being a middle grade book don't expect that this something big is gonna happen is gonna connect to the whole story But again, it's a middle grade book. There might be something at the end i don't want to spoil that But it can be explained in one of two sentences in paragaflina in one of the Adoboaks, but anyway Content story extremely easy read if you are a fast reader you'll read this in like in four or five hours It took me like three days just you want to say by step But it's a very easy read it's a cool story that you want to keep reading cool characters Some of them might could have been developed a little bit more but he wants to focus on ramb gabby Or the ones that you spend more time with some those are developed pretty good We get a lot the main villain nif dren doh He's he's been shown on the high republic or not shows on some of the repostate done this new Baran bull and saprentist this young scientist has a little a little name list. Yeah, so he's the main bad guy That's he has a name. So it's no no longer nameless.
I'm not gonna spoil the name, but he's gonna name It's a baby level. I still gross and still hurting july This is such a great idea I'm still surprised why If you're a fan of the high republic adventure comic line, I think you're gonna enjoy this book a lot more Or if you read the face to a lot of those there's they come back that paragant so like some sister punch and The dank ranks and next they're there just so hey we're here Okay, we'll get to go do something else and that's I'm sure that stories gonna happen that comic books and they might connect with this story So if you're someone that reads everything then yeah go ahead and read it It's not something that oh, I'm gonna miss something if I don't read this book not read But if you want to stay connected with those characters or just I want to fast read Yeah, go ahead and get this book. So I did not read the face to a young reader books where I read the face one and I really liked them What I tell people is like they're not as childish as you think they're gonna be And they're also not as important as you mentioned like they usually get summarized in one paragraph in one of the books Some of the way by the way But it really helps flesh out the story like I still love tes of courage like that's my favorite It's and I like it more than some of the way books in in hieroglyphics. So yeah, um, yeah I'm excited to read it.
I just haven't gotten to it. No, so it's like all great stories Look, doesn't matter if it's a middle grade young adult or adult novel It's that stories right you can just can't write a book as I yeah, this is always in his or her That story was really sad that fun family It's there's some great conversations about attachments about compassion what does that mean for a jenna? How you move past them and it's great when it comes from young kids Which are going through this life changing experience is great to see that so in that point like you just said By not connected a whole bigger overarching story But there's a great one-on-one moments in all the middle grade and it's the same here So don't say I is middle-grant. I'm not gonna buy it.
It's a good story with good stories moments So check it out But if you just want to focus on the adult ones then you're not missing If you if you can't get enough of the higher public They're fun. Yeah, they're very fun. And you don't have to have read everything else to understand it They kind of yeah, so let me confile what's that? I don't care.

It based the creator basically said like yes, I I think I'm working on last I was three. So good news.
Um, and I haven't watched it because I've been busy replaying the episode So I that's why I basically haven't gotten back to it Um, I'm so excited for the next season like seeing the announcements of the cast seeing who they're playing even though they announced um, Oh, her was her name. Um, Oh, her and I talked to Lauren. We have no idea who she's playing like I literally have no idea who she's gonna play so That's gotta be interesting. Yeah, like I desperately want to see this Start to take form and see like the first trailer because one thing I was talking to Lauren Like I really think you can turn the second game into three seasons of television.
Whoa So I want to see that true and see like why did they show us? What's the story gonna be? So yeah, I'm very very excited for more last time And last of all for someone that never played the game this show just came out of nowhere Like I didn't know what to expect. I know that some of these show we've had so many But do they just blew everything out of the water for me?
I just fell in love with the characters the story Like I said what this is my wife, which is not a fan of horror or gore anything But she's like when it's isn't too coming out and she's sorry. You can't know how do things like what she playing So again, this video game show which is kind of horror based off the story kind of those those not just that kind of just somebody's I don't know just captured every once attention extremely excited and like you said I can't wait for a season to I don't know where this story is here And I stayed away from anything that document anything has to do with anything with with the second video I haven't seen anything. I just want to go fresh like I did for the first one Lauren says that y'all aren't ready I agree I also wanted to mention like they announced Caitlyn Denver as a character named Abby I'm very excited to see her because she was my pick to play Ellie So seeing her play this other character who's similar to Ellie, but totally different in a totally different way It's gonna be very very interesting and definitely like against type for the character she usually does So that's next year, right? I don't think they start shooting in the summer.

Last time at least this Peter Capaldi era. How how Capaldi has been great. He's he's a very funny doctor Um, he I like that. He's you know, he's Scottish so he's naturally grumpy Um, and he he has just so many great lines and funny lines and he does killer monologues He is really really great doctor I remember when I finished watching I was okay.
That was great. It's my my third favorite doctor But every time I let me just think about dr who like he will come into my mind all the things he went through all his great speeches So I think that more think about his mind. This is like the perfect doctor almost like he's gone He's so freaking much. We saw he makes some great choices.
Also like he did with um I always forget her freaking name. Sorry with Clara Clara. I think almost like her when it's like I became the hybrid like I gotta make a man I'm not gonna take your mind again. I already made that mistake.

There's a point like spanger after Um when he figures out why his face came back. He's like because I saved people saying I'll say this it's clever how they managed to connect it I love Tony's the kind of person who and give him mind Tony what's a film school like Tony like study film And he's the kind of person who will drink the kool-aid and be like landed all along No, like saw out of the mind that they just should not have to give an explanation on why because kabali also shows up in torchwood.
