All right, girls, all day. I'll tell you what you're doing today on Saturdays. And we just had an episode last week with Phil, Phil, Slunga, I don't know how you go. I'm having a great Saturday.
Yeah, no. So they was at Classic Gold, the game between Barcelona and Ramadurid, and Barcelona absolutely humiliated Ramadurid, which was a little satisfying. Yeah, because give me one second, because I need to... It just happened.
It just happened. I literally got here two minutes beforehand because I was watching the end of the game. Ramadurid signed the best player on the planet, who was Mbappe, and I don't even know if he got one shot on target, which was so satisfying. And everyone came into the game saying no, because Ramadurid had been playing terribly and then burst on a bit fantastic.
And everyone was like, no, but this is the game when everything's going to happen. Nope. So yeah, I'm on Cloud9 right now. I'm going to tell you that your team humiliated the rival.
I'm going to be that way later tonight. After finishing at 7 o'clock, my college team, not the one I grew up with, but the one I grew up following with, you know, it's my young is going against the biggest rival, Florida State, which right now my young is undefeated, ranked six in the country, and Florida State has only won one game. So we got to post the league, we should humiliate them. But you know what, I'm going to be very happy hopefully at the end of tonight.
Are you into the World Series at all? Yeah, so we watched the game yesterday. It's a great game. I can't believe that ending.
I left the game to one. I was like, oh, okay, there's only like, I think it was a bottom of the eighth. I was like, okay, yeah, he's gonna win. Oh, well, I woke up this one.
I was like, oh, oh, yeah, it's something. It's sports. You can never count anyone else. All right, but that's our different type of podcast.

Like perfect. The love star wars will still boundaries. We didn't go too far. We just stick to the script.
I thought of one question. I wanted to ask him that I didn't. I wanted to like, it came to me later on. But like, I wish I knew like the best.
Because he was talking a lot about being true to the fandom and delivering a story that fans want. And I just wanted to know like the balance between that and being a writer and having ideas and telling the story you want to tell. Some other time. Yeah.
The way I, because I had something similar, that's a conversation we've had for a while is how much do actors, writers, directors, tell their stories or do a story that defines one. We usually fall to, hey, just tell your story. And if the fans like it, they like it. I think he balances that fight that he tries to come up with a story that he wants to tell that's cool.
Like he said, and then hopefully make changes, but kind of guided to what he hopes the fans would want at the end. So like you said, maybe next time. Hopefully he gets a chance to do his May's window revival. So that he told us after we caught camera.

Star Wars news. One of the reasons I asked if you've read Tier Show Denimless is because we got a bunch of reveals for the High Republic coming in of phase three. And New York Comic Con didn't disappoint for the book fans, comic book fans, all the other Star Wars. We got a bunch of.
Yes. Or we got A by Chris. Also a man. Burjaga.
Bell said before. Aslin rail is falling Jedi now. And a great look at Marjian Row and Lorna Dee in a dancing. Dancing with a Tempest Breaker audiobook.
And of course you saw the cover for Claudia Grace next book into the light. So I know it's a little bit as nippon of that. So let's go through them real quick. We're not quick.
We're gonna take our time. But okay, let's start with those kickass Jedi looks. Surprise to see the High Republic Jedi in full armor. We're just switching in the Clone Wars for the Jedi.
Basically Temple guards with the mask. And why don't gold robes and armor. They're ready for battle now. So there's nothing in Tisot together and tears.
The name list, that kind of points to this is where it's going. But I'm extremely excited to see why they're wearing this armor. Maybe there's something in it to combat the effects of the name list. But first, what kind of two man will you show those images?
That's so cool. Yeah, I have no idea what's that what that's for. Maybe it's like tuning out your senses and just casting in the Force and being guided by the Force. Like I feel like an element of the nameless effect on the Jedi is very mental.
Like it's in their heads a lot of it. So maybe that's a way to combat it. I don't know. There's a lot in Tisot the name list that kind of goes into how the why the name like affected the Jedi so much so that I hope you can get to read it soon.
But what if I just came to my head when you say maybe Tunes out the senses? What if it's not a callback but in the acolyte we saw this ranger with the Kratosi cell net that helped tune out all the forces you're going to resent? Maybe it's something similar. It would be interesting to then tie those things together.
Maybe. Buriaga looks cool because we're seeing a wookie. Poking man. Yeah, I mean he didn't fit in those all the more.
No. And then Aslinn Rell was this fallen Jedi that we've been following since phase two. He's still kicking around. He has a huge point to play in Tisot the name list.
So I'm very interested to see what his story goes. But yeah, all those images are getting more pumped for the end of the unfortunate and for the high-reporlic list is part of the story. But from there we go to Mark Yum Row and Lorna the looking at Deathly Tango in Tempest Rondor the new Audio book by Kevin Scott coming out I think early next year. Now I've been missing the one ID.
I don't know. It's been a while. It's been a while. I think Eva Chris and Keith Trennis also going to be in this book.
That's going to be a good one. I want to see if Ditz connects more to the bigger story that we're starting to wrap up. Her last book, the Tempest Rondor the other book, which I really enjoyed, is kind of a very central story to her. They didn't connect a lot of what was going on.
So hopefully here she comes back into the main fold and helps take Mark and Row out. We'll see how where she falls. We'll see. We'll see.
And then finally is that cover for Into the Light. We have three stylists there who's been suffering a lot in Grisfoyle, Into the Dark. He was this young, carefree, Jedi part of one. Didn't want to go out.
No, he's out there. He's out there in Kashyyyk trying to battle the Blight. I'm scared. I'm scared for Rithis, the main character in Tis of the Nameless.
Yeah, I know. I'm happy that we keep to follow his progress. I don't know. I'm scared for it.
We'll see what happens. I have no idea what's going to happen with him. It's a great cover. All the young adult covers and I forgot to write down the name of the artist.
They just been killing it. They're just awesome covers out there. So I know you like this one. Let me get my stuff ready.
This didn't come from New York Comic Con. I believe what Tis during Comic Con was revealed a few days later. I'm well-guess surprised to be sure that Chaul Sol returns to write. Everyone's favorite is set Dark Side user in Cailoren.
A story set between episode eight and episode nine. I saw Legacy of Bader is gonna explode Cailos time as Supreme Leader of the first order. Before I read a little bit of what Chaul Sol said about the comic, Cailoren is back. He's back.
I went through our cold rollercoaster of emotions when I saw Legacy of Bader's like, oh, come on. Another thing in the comic. Even though Chaul Sol's comic was phenomenal, but I was like, come on, another one. And then I realized it was a Kylo one.
I was like, oh, this is cool. I wonder if it's like a sequel to the... I can't remember the name of the write of Cailoren. Write of Cailoren here.
Yeah. But no, it's between episode eight and nine and that got me. It was exciting, but at the same time, I was like, huh, like, how much can you fit in here? But then I remembered everything they did between Empire and Return of the Dead.
I went through the whole bounty hunters and Crimson Dawn coming back and whole lore going on. So I'm like, okay, whatever, this will go on. I mean, they can fit. The oven is tough to fit there.
Chaul Sol has written from my favorite, and he even talks about his interview with Sawart Thorne, the comics that people always talk about. The rest of Cailoren, of course, is Darth Vader run. Those 25 volumes out there just peak Darth Vader. Sorry, anytime he gets to write those Darth Siders, it's always fun and interesting.
And now hopefully as we're getting closer to that Ray movie and Continuation, we might get some little hints here or there. Connections to a Harry public as he connected the unmaxing station. We have no idea what's going on. So maybe this connects to something that will figure out in two or three years.
Which also goes on to say, Kailo is truly lost at this particular moment. In a very short span of time, he faced two of his most significant mentors in combat, one of whom is his uncle, killed his own father, almost killed his mother, stolen control of a galaxy-level military that he has no idea how he'll use, and of course, he's found a deep connection with another force using him Ray. He's looking for any form of guidance he can get, even if he won't admit it. And so he returns to just our D1.
Only thing, he's got left the legacy of his grandfather, the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Apart from the Ray-Los out there going crazy, because in the actual comic, kind of breakdown, he says he fell in love with a force user. A lot of great stuff there that maybe Washington will be, we don't think about a lot, but all that happens in a span of one year. He's now in control of the first order.
He doesn't know how to rule, how to be a military general out there. Not even the span of one year. Like all of that happened. I mean, we don't really know.
No, like the last Jedi, like all that happens, except with the Han Solo thing, like all that happened in the last Jedi. Yeah. And last Jedi is what, like a week maybe? Yes, not that long time ago.
Let's be honest, he kind of fell in love with Ray right when she left to him. So, that all happened in the span of a day, hours. Yeah, I mean, as soon as he landed on the story story on that little part, he's like, okay, I'm in love now. She came to me.
And I think he, I know I think that the actual comic, you know, little snippet says, he goes to search for Vader's secrets in his Mustafar temple in Vader's castle. So let me go back to Mustafar exploring the inside of Vader, how that messes over with his psyche. And then as we know by Rysos Skywalker, all of this is at least every time he talks to Vader or to Snoke or whatever is the emperor, can't control in everything. So it'll be cool to see how the choice all starts everything to Rysos Skywalker.
That's going to be fun. And let's see how his relationship with Darth Vader changes in because in Rysos Skywalker, he still has to hell, but we don't really know if he still has like the same burns to it. Like, it's kind of like maybe you're a senior ring. You still have a ring.
Maybe you don't use that anymore. So yeah, mine got stolen. So unfortunately, I don't have a lot of money over there. I use it sometimes.
I wear rings. I'm sad they got stolen. That's what I need to like. Lock your gates, kids.
Don't let's get it open. Anyway, back to this. At first, I was kind of like, I haven't been to comics that much in the past few years. So I don't know if I'll get into this one.
They didn't say unless I missed it. If this is a four-issue run, if it's going to be an ongoing idea. So I'll probably get a little bit of a free to say. It's an ongoing.
Okay. Yeah. So probably I'll have at least like 20 issues. I'm sure they'll go back and forth between the whole sequel trilogy.
Now we got some young Ben Solo stuff. Oh, a flat track comic. Yes. Hey, let's see him as a kid with Han and Leia.
Like, what's that like? Having a mom as a senator and having a dad who's probably just to stay at home. It would be great because in last year, I was ready to kill Leia and then last second-channel, Viers would be good if we get like that split second in his mind. It would be a whole issue of the comic.
I just relieved in his childhood. Like you said, just, oh well, no. I'm not sure. Let me see where that's going to take me to Leia.
Oh, here's Lambo. Let's see what happens. So and that relationship with Chewbacca. I want to see more of that also.
Yeah. All right. So do we know when this is coming out? I want to say February.

So yeah, New York Comic-Con came and went a bunch of cool stuff there. We're what? Eight, nine months away from the end of the High Republic. So set times in those panels, they said, get ready to cry.
And a lot of your, what was it? I didn't write it down because it was last week. Like the fate of your favorite characters comes down to one of the final chapters of the book or something. So.
Oh, my God. We got to talk to all our friends when we talk about the High Republic. I have a team meeting and just follow up. I really like the Jedi say today.
And like the last age, I want to share going back to Coruscant and the ship explodes. Oh, man. Ah, don't make me. Oh, okay.
Oh, I'm excited to see how they wrapped everything out. All right. From there, we go to our favorite kids store. No, that's not a good.
Anyway, I just don't have a good intro for them. Just go home. New images from the skeleton crew. So marketing is starting to ramp up for the upcoming Disney Plus series as new images.
Images of our heroes are emerging jobs, Nanawood, Neil, Wayne, KV and Fern. I love that they put Neil in everything. There needs to be an order a little like right there in that last image. You know, it's really new if you kind of looking to his hiding behind his cloak, nearly everywhere.
Just like two more images that were revealed to their I think all of these are from Empire. They work close. A month, November's next week. So basically we're a month away from skeleton crew.
I'm guessing we'll get a new trailer soon, but it's good that they're starting to ramp. And they're already I want to see the show see what the story takes us Yeah, I'm excited for it like and I want to see you a little dude It's funny. We've seen a lot of new images as a festival of weeks We still don't know a lot about what the actual story is gonna be we've heard Oh, yeah, they get lost the fan achieve they go to our party galaxy. They need to find a way back Okay, there's something there right that's the big story.
I don't know. I wanna try to figure out what's going on We're heading to the I'm really thinking like that's to be more to that ship that they find and more to that Nick Frost Like maybe it is like a goony saying like oh, there's this hidden Imperial vault somewhere Yeah, and what they find is a lightsaber There you go. Oh, no, I can obi lightsaber Obi-Wan Oh, yeah, that's with something that ship and that's what the part of one said maybe to me SM 33 Joy has a map to somewhere and the part as one to find out the Skywalker. Oh, that'll be so new That'll be redundant And like 30 years before it should yeah The plans for a new base no circular basis even inside the droid Well, yeah, I wonder what's more about the story.
I'm and therefore the kids and before they're a goony type adventure series I just wanted to be here already. I just wanna say like Alton Diaz from Twitter He said something like what if John uses the force to raise the kids in the bikes If that happens, I'm gonna cry because it is one of my favorite. Yeah, I'm gonna stop I haven't watched it probably like 35 years. Oh my god.
Maybe that's too much maybe 30 I'm trying to get my keys to watch and my daughter's like that alien. It's creepy. It's scary I don't wanna watch this one. I just gotta sit them down and say we're watching this I so every time I would go to my grandmother's house I would request to watch it like every single to my would go there and I would go there almost every day until my parents Good left work so and I was terrified of it But I love horror movies and I'm afraid later So that's like just like part for the course But like I just love that movie even though I got like that scene when he leaves the Reese's pieces and he's like Oh It's a great movie.
Yeah, speaking of sidebar. You just mentioned you love horror movies and stuff we we know that Your eyes and your reaction last week when Stephen Barnes said yeah, I would help right after 13 showing you like what? So I had to ask him afterwards because and I would you heard the question I just needed to know like what is that show? I just can't conceive it in my head.
Yeah, and he gave us his version of it, which was interesting. Yeah All right, so yeah, I mean stet on crew just give it to us It's been a once in July not that long I think we saw you so Star Wars shows being out there that this four months week us wait We do not behave as fans that we deserve which is if we talk at the end like a much of this Mandalorian Grogu movie that's supposed to be done filming on one end people They just let us wait for 10 years to build up hype and on the other side people are like what do we need to wait a Year and a half or this is already don't give me give me anyway, that's the one You know what we're moving on we're moving to more news or this time is moving it was a star was moving news That's a graphic we fairly ever use I think this is like maybe the third time you've used it Just more sometimes I just keep it's news. I just keep going but we're fine I guess it's funny. We have movie stuff to talk about so we'll also using mode more and more I put all these as rumors for me.
I think all these are rumors nothing has been confirmed I think Empire or yeah, I'm probably my pick one of these stories up But I think they came from like fuck news or whatever Yeah, but we'll talk about it with that room or tag there the first one is that James Mango It's not sure that don't do you like sorry? That is a rule boy James Mango supposedly gonna start filming that don't do you like movie next year in 2025? There is no release date for this movie the only Star Wars movie that supposedly have an actual release date is in Mandalorian Grogo for May of 2026 and then supposedly there's another movie December 2026 and then I believe 2027 So let's say this movie is ready to shoot or start shooting in 2025 So maybe makes a December 26th. I doubt it may be 27.
That's not the story The story is that there's something to talk about which is Finally James Mango is talking about it. He's ready to start shooting that they also set the script probably is close to done I believe I just forgot his name. I was in my head right now Oh Williamson, I think he's helping write the script. Oh, I know Williamon Anyway, I'll be excited that a new Star Wars movie said 50,000 years in the past might start shooting next year I mean if the rumors are true, then yes, I will be super excited about it I thought it was the three movies that were announced in comic an almost two years ago I thought this was gonna be the last one that we go into production I thought the Rey movie was coming first the Filoni movie sometime between and then this I'll call it all Republic movie And of course we got the surprise with this fourth movie with Mandalorian Grogo Which actually just went straight into production so surprise excited and happy that this is apparently starting to move forward I guess this might be December 2025.
I'll just man go this basically with his whatever is biopic he's doing I Think that movies Yeah, I'm promoting at some point finishing up and then hopefully pre-production whatever is starting already on that film and then 2025 Second half third quarter 25 years starting this so I'm this out of the well no out of the four movies I think the mandolin Grogo movie is the least excited I am this is probably the second least excited movie I am for but I'm so very excited for it because it's it's like the acolyte it's gonna be like something completely new and The Rey movie can be that but let's see how safe they play about this one like No, we're gonna see yeah, no, I don't think we'll talk about the Rey movie in a second This yeah, I mean they can do what are they want? There's nothing they're not beholden to anything right now I mean they've converted to like Ben Herr, but is it gonna be like Ben Herr? Is it gonna be like the first 30 minutes of 2001 a space Odyssey? Yeah, hey man Yeah, that I mean that'd be interesting the first time people start using the force and nobody knows what the hell it is and there's this Weird we started quote-unquote out there moving the rocks Like everything is pointing to like that's what the story is like the first everything I mean, we'll see we'll yeah, definitely see like what's gonna happen really it's exciting.
Yeah, that's what gets me excited It's exciting anything can happen. We have no idea. We can maybe piece together a little bit of what that rainbow We might be Mando Grogo that filonium movie. We know we have an idea what that might be I listen points.
This is brand new time I hate leaks, but I am excited for something to leak on this one Like Everyone's been saying good who am I really I really hope they do that connection. Yeah Do you would you prefer do you care? This is I don't tell them 25,000 years 30,000 whatever Technology's everything is always that people complain about about or not. Do you want to see this like?
Everything's really older. It's still in the future It can still get us all shapes that look similar to what everyone blasters. That's fine. Yeah, I really hope it still starts with a long time ago but I There's a side of me like if they do the old republic thing where it's a hundred thousand years before the movies It's like a thousand years before the movie, but everything is exactly the same I'll be fine with it.
Like I will not be upset about it But even in the high republic they have managed and it's not that far into the past They have managed to change some things like when the book start drawing start just starting to walk without chords for the first time Hyperfit space works differently. So I think like always down for always an issue so like It's I hope they have fun with it and just like sky's element because we are going way back here So have fun like maybe it's like doing where it's like futuristic, but there are no computers for some reason I'll take it. I guess they can do so much It still needs to feel like Star Wars which is that balance and it to play with how much away from it can they go? But I guess I have fun with it.
But still give me starships. Give me droids even if they're Don't talk to those wheels and a computer screen. Go with a battery everywhere. Yeah recharge every time you work out.
Yeah So I'm excited for this one. I think that Ray one is my most excited I'm excited about my lawyer and grow good because it's right there. That's the next one that we're getting but this one Again have zero expectations zero knowledge of what might happen and that gets me excited. So hopefully the comic Con is gonna be very interesting this time around.
Oh, I don't think they're announcing new movies So hopefully we'll get more information about these four movies comic con or sorry celebration Yeah, I actually woke up Thinking about Star Wars celebration. Yeah, I'm thinking about the logistics of it because I took Friday off just to get on the Japanese time Oh, wow, good. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see how that goes.
Yeah I figured that out. I still get a couple of months to figure out when I'm doing that Friday I think that for us. It's basically gonna be Thursday. There's Saturday night I think we'll see it's gonna be early early.
Right. It's gonna be fun. Always always but they're not announcing new movies We hopefully will get more information about these four movies and bring John boy Yeah, what's the other new your comic con say how much fun he has we start with fans? Mando trailer.
Oh, I'll say a thousand percent gonna happen. We might not see it but that people out there will see it Right. It's a it would be like a year out. So no, we maybe won't have a really sad teaser like Star Wars fan need to get riled up So I think that could be good and if the mangled movies start shooting Like I'll never get over the fact that they showed us spider-man homecoming trailer at comic con three days after the movie started shooting So like the sky so let's see but like if they announce movies like they better like I hope not I hope we have four movies.
We don't need to worry about I agree. I agree. I agree But like if that happens they better have like skype footage of baloney onset Ray and they say really and John boy. Yeah, I got on said yeah Yeah, no, no this yeah for me This has to be like actual confirmation that these four movies or three movies the man is already basically done the three movies are Have moved forward in the production process.
You know just yeah, remember this is coming like bring in like I said If let's say hopefully if John boy air comes back bring him that's big announcement that this is still happening or the script is finished And we start shooting next day. Hey, I don't know the get a movie look at our concept art We're ready to start shooting at the end of the year below and after the mando movie comes out We just show that trailer for you guys. We're gonna connect with us. Oh, yeah Here's a trailer we'll talk about some two just confirmation that things are moving forward so people can come down and stop there Look as we result there Announce the movie so never come out.
We need to hopefully see that things are moving forward Yeah, I think like the only one that can get away with not giving a lot of information is the baloney Movie and only if they're like hey as I was into is coming next year and then we'll start working on the movie That would make a lot of sense. Yeah, that's the only one that could get away with Alright and all these two kind of these are last story more rumors And this is about the new july border movie and they went back and forth these past two days So according to rumors David Knight who came in as a screenwriter last year I believe earlier this year for that is really the race I walk a movie has exited the project Prompting Twitter month out there to yell for everyone. I look at feeling to be fired because they keep announcing stuff that never happens Before we got to the second part of this story Who here do you know yourself including myself or like Twitter friends? Does anyone of us work in the movie industry that we know all that process?
I don't work I have no knowledge of anything that happens, but I think constant time of the screenwriter came in they did their ideas They moved the story forward they handed out to someone else and then they bounce They have to tell you stuff to do. It has a picky blinders movie to worry about calm down. What are we always very? apocalyptic with everything like this is the end.
So you look as when you suck I think like in the case of this movie Maybe the mistake was announcing it in the previous celebration because I don't know if you remember like that was around the time Remember when this was a dayman Lindelof movie. Yeah, and he got fired and then Kim's even night I ride around the time the movie got announced and So like again when he came on There were gonna be script revisions and how many times stuff we heard that Daisy hasn't gotten the script I'm pretty sure he was working Maybe look at something not like it. Maybe and maybe Charmaine was like no like this is not the movie I intend to make so like I don't know who has the most power like I don't know we don't know what happened So yeah, if he wasn't a guy he wasn't a guy As always I try to wait maybe too optimistic and not naive enough to me what I hope is like He got the script from the end of Lindelof. He's far with the director which I mean wait.
I'll just say one of the okay Let's tweak this he and there he finishes pass through of it and then pass along to her Or if they bring another screenwriter to then touch up any new points I don't think he I don't I hope that this is not going back to square one like within like they mauling the lost We didn't like see when I scribble a store again if that's the case then yeah, there's a big problem I don't think we're in that point because no every time that they see talks about it She's excited. She's like I know what this what the story is or getting the script really well. Yeah, I'm very excited for this That's why That's my turn a little bit. Sorry basically like I agree I don't think they're starting from scratch because of that basically comment She has made repeated repeatedly where she knows what the story is they got her to come back because of the stories And maybe we really don't know how this came to be maybe it was her main who pitched it and you know You can pitch a story, but you're not necessarily a screenwriter So you need to get a screenwriter and write it and they got to great screenwriters to come in So it also blows my mind that it didn't pan out so we'll see but and also Again, yes, maybe I'm being overly optimistic But the fact that they say really talk this week also and was like no it's still happening like you're gonna get new soon Like yeah, I'm not really that concerned.

So yeah, it's probably gonna be a CGI heavy movie So those I will say an hour a year and a half feels like a very long time for it So I'm here just like checking this new schedule just Like so we're getting an avatar movie next year So I don't know maybe they're trying to avoid the solo thing like sure switching in in between or I Think this is probably the big answer Star Wars with trans theaters in the same year that Avengers returns to theaters and Avengers with Robert Downey Jr. And better of a Scott who also be doing this movie.

I don't remember too much of the story I'll see But so with that let's take a couple of minutes to go something else as no Star Wars in a world between fandons All right, I'll be between fandons. It's been a couple of weeks. We haven't talked about it and it's that penguin I think we talked about the first two episodes. Maybe I just had first episode when it came out This last three have been some of the best episodes I seen in a while the one when Penguin I can't believe I just forgot her name.
What's the Sophia right Sophia? When they finally start working together they present their new drug to the other mafia boss Okay, things are starting to work and then they got jumped by the Monies V comes around trashes everything when people know we're gonna boss Sophia I just leaver and they just bounce over in it now like holy crap what's going on next episode is gonna be something the next episode It's only freaking so free as backstory which awesome, right? I was here with the enemies right now and then last week was just as great. So tomorrow.
I don't know what to expect for tomorrow It's been killing it this past that that fourth episode was so good that I completely forgot that we had left on a cliffhanger with With the penguin It was so good and I love just everything we've shown how easily those people in power just throw it on the bus and what Penguin did and what our car mind data is on daughter And everything just her introduction to our camp and just been processing to it. It's so visceral to see her go through that And I love that they introduced this crazy blonde chick in arkheim Batman D character. Okay, but when you see her first like oh, it's this version of Holy Queen because it's a crazy blonde chick that does So I love that you're dead she freaking snapped you want me to be the villain or want me to be a killer? Yes And then last week, I mean, I think you know that fourth episode she kills her whole family keeps that guy alive and then last week was Awesome.
Everything about this series so far has been killing it. So I love that she kept video live. Just a purple point I look I'm just freaking killing white and then no, I need the money I'll use you to bring all the players into this But then as soon as you talk back and just gonna kill in front of everyone to show show them around seriously He's clearly a snake so I just cannot see her and she knows it so I just cannot see her leaving him alive And he's like no I try to help your mother and she's like oh, that's a cute story Why don't you stick with my dad then like everything you know and why do you throw me under the bus then no? Yeah I'll tell you man like I I'm in love with that character with Sophia Falcone.
She's Blown my mind. Yeah, um and they're even changing things from the comic with her and I'm like, oh, yeah, this makes sense Yeah, I saw before I'm right there with you and it's a character that every week I get more invested in like first and like okay They'll bring a little bring her to try to do that new balls and they'll have that matter with us between the families Every week every week I get closer and closer to I got a one who to win that battle that she was on And now you're at that point like this is the penguin show you expecting to even though it's just as bad as everyone else expecting to come Out on top, but maybe I want Sophia to come out on top of a social secretary character Like uh, cauliflower is returning for Batman too, so like I don't think She's dying right here, but I don't think I don't think this is getting resolved in this season honestly like I I don't know if I said it here Well, like I kind of want this to be like a side thing and and have Have these characters show up in the Batman? Oh, they're okay. They're just like they used them in the first one, which was perfect and Then have their story unfold here like it's it's been so good And dude, I would love to see a scene of Sophia talking with Bruce or Batman like she's insane I wouldn't put it past the way this character has resonated and this story It makes complete sense to have her in one or two scenes in the Batman movie and have a kick-ass conversation with Bruce Wayne or with Alfred or someone And we got someone we didn't get uh Oh, we got uh Chief McKenzie.
Yeah, so we got also that connection there to the Batman Oh, yeah, just been killing it been killing it I'm usually not one to all this and show about Batman. Well, Batman's not there It's like it doesn't matter It's fine with him not being there But I will say like I had this nitpick moment in this episode like The falcon the entire falcon family dying is like a Batman sure about moment for me at least so But he's also not working with the police at this point. So okay fine He was on top of the top of the house. We didn't see him hiding back there.
Just collecting his information Actually, it's not only that the entire falcon family dying most of the maroni family dying and a new crime family for me And yeah, I kind of think Batman should be like what's going on You're hoping the tunnels when penguin and I love that also because one of the cool things I'll ask Every time he falls down. He has a plan almost ready to go and then I love that this he cannot remember okay This is when I came up from there's this tunnel say abandoned uh the humid it's cold perfect to go the mushrooms This is we're gonna set up shop. I love that progression. He goes through they've they've done a great job setting up the penguin as At least I know him which is just this bumbling idiot who just stumbles on to success time and time again But Batman will always beat him because he is a bumbling idiot Yeah At vik is a character's also I've grown into because he at first he seemed to me like this observation of arse wall Then he got that chance to break away, which was a great scene like that being was like you think I'm holding you hostage You just go I don't just go and you're like, okay, that's that divide I won't follow his into that path But then he comes back then the story was I want to do more Yeah, I I love when we see the the events of the batman from his point of view That was very visceral like that was that was a great scene.
Yeah All right, so tomorrow Oh, and by the way, and that whole section of Gotham or the waterhead and everything is destroyed I I took me like a second to realize what had happened in this section. I was like, wait, why are your cars flipped around then? But it's been like a couple days since so yeah, I like that. I think first of second episode I mentioned I just had been a couple days ago.
