It feels like more. Every time I take a week off, it feels like a month or so. Although we will be taking some time after Skyton crew, Jon Swann and early next year, but we'll get to that eventually. You're just in time. Yeah. Wizard is never late. I've had a week.
I've had a week. You want to talk about it? No. Yeah.
Yeah. You know what? I want to talk about it because my week includes an episode of my podcast, Tony and I did that. I have not been able to download because it's on Riverside and we weren't able to go on Friday.
And I was like, OK, whatever, I'll sit on Saturday. It's not downloading. So I'm going to tell the story. So as you know, this has nothing to do with it.
I even forgot there was a new star. I saw it. I saw it. Oh, you better.
As you know, I'm getting married in two weeks. Two weeks. Congratulations. I can't believe it.
Thank you. I can't believe it. So I was in Florida because one of the things that we have to do is bring my dog over to Puerto Rico because my and those are coming. And there's not going to be anyone in Florida from our side of the family for one month.
So we need a dog here. And my dog is slightly above the weight that you need to bring them with the with you on the plane. She's like playing bounce over that. That way.
So we can't pass her as and she's the kind of dog that if you put like a service dog harness on her, they'll be like, that's not a service. She's afraid of everyone. She's extremely curious. She's very obedient, but she like when she's out there, she wants to explore.
So yeah, that wasn't going to work either. So we had to send her via cargo. And if anyone listening has ever sent a dog via cargo, it's a pain in the, you know what? Because there's temperature restrictions and when you're flying to Puerto Rico, weather can be anything like and it can't go over 85 degrees.
It was going to get here at 1 p.m., which is peak time. And we're not having a we had a cold front a couple of weeks ago. So the weather was around 60 70s, which is perfect and very nice for Puerto Rico. But you know, it's usually around the 80s.
And as we were looking at the weather, it was always like 87 87. I was like, Oh, and there's another caveat. The only place in Florida, apparently, you can do this from Miami because I had to do it from Jacksonville. So I mean, on the reverse side, we sent our dog and my wife's dog from Puerto Rico here to Florida.
But you had to go to Jackson, like at the same in the morning, same thing because it was going to be 85 or 90 by 10. We left. So the dog left like three hours before we ever did. Okay.
Yeah. So when we sent her, I completely forgot what I was going to say, whatever. We asked like through for Lauderdale, Tampa and Miami and Miami was like the only place in Miami is like an hour and a half away from my fiance's house, which if you live in Miami, you know, it's actually like two hours. So whatever, we were seeing the weather.
We didn't like it. Oh, and you write to the airline. You have to do it all via email, by the way. And we were like, we're not going to drive to Miami, set everything up just together and then being like, Oh, no, she can't fly today.
Only took on back tomorrow and do the same thing and I had to get here. So through a friend of mine, we found these people that do rescues in Puerto Rico and they were like, sure, we can help you send her. And it was like in a cargo plane. So we don't have the weather district.
So it was crazy expensive, but whatever. So when that happens, she's like, it has to be on Wednesday. And I was like, okay, perfect. I changed my flight from Saturday to Wednesday.
And that afternoon, I'm not even getting into the whole getting to that day was a bit show, but whatever we got to that day. And we were having lunch. Actually, my fiance found out she actually matched in her fellowship and doctor and I'll do so I'm moving to Boston this summer. Oh, we had an ad on something Boston and Tony.
There you go. I'm my brother. I'm going to go somewhere. So so we found out we were celebrating.
We're having lunch and I suddenly got a text from the woman who was working. And she's like, Oh, the cargo plane is not working. So he's not going to fly out today. So I was like, oh, okay, and she's like, but she can file tomorrow and I try to change my flight.
But then we're going to charge me $5,000 for changing my flight from one day to the other. So that was absolutely not an option. So I told my fiance, like, just take me to the bright line. I'll take the train.
So you don't have to drive to Miami twice. And that was the other thing. I was living through Miami. If I was going to leave on my own, I would have left the report a lot of day, whatever.
I buy the ticket for the bright line and when I get to the station, I realize that I bought the wrong ticket. So and the guys like the best thing I can do for you is give you a ticket half half the price. And I was like, sure, fine, though, I think that was a Miami heat scheme or something. All the trains were sold out until like I was going to get there like five minutes before my boarding.
And that was just the way I was going to make it. So my girlfriends like forget it, get in the car. We're going to drive to Miami. What was a one hour and 40 minute drive turned into a two hour and 30 minute drive.
You missed a plane anyway. No, I didn't miss a plane. I don't know. Thankfully, but there's this whole thing with the Miami.
I hate that. I hate Florida. It's like Puerto Rico and Florida have a competition for the worst airports and Puerto Rico. The health.
Let's do it. I get to the airport. It says terminal. Yeah, go to terminal.
Yeah. They're like, no, you have to go to terminal. Do you know, dude, or check in to leave your back and then come back to terminal. I'm like, what the hell.
So I do this whole thing. I get to the to the gates and they're like, no, your gate is actually in a different building where there's only like five gates. So you get on the train and get there. I haven't eaten since 12.
It's like nine already and the only thing open is pizza. Alberto, you don't know this for me. I hate the spies, pizza. But you know what?
I was starving so I had a pepperoni pizza. Um, it was kind of a. That's when anything is good. It doesn't in here.
though on Friday when my dog was coming in that was like this whole miscommunication with the people are yincing it and at two way they told me she'll get there around six I think it's like they like check them in and they get in the first cargo plane that says like I know we can take them so they don't exactly know the time they're gonna leave I woke up at 2am and they had a text me so I was like I don't know what time I have to pick up my dog and I started texting them they wouldn't answer so my anxiety like blew up I'm like what the fuck is my dog like who has her where is she right now like they never told us anything else and you know I didn't sleep and around 4am she contacts me she's like I'm so sorry if I'll let's leave she gone on this plane she'll be arriving at 6am so I get there at 6am I got her finally like at 730 Wow yeah so like between Tuesday and Friday I slept like I'm not lying I slept like a total of seven hours in between those four days so last night I just passed out of my gosh and woke up today yeah that's the story of my week and right now when I was gonna do a podcast I said down like wait with all the chaos I never took out my stuff from my back so I was setting up everything like just started the show and that's it but here my bag is sleeping in the bed so he doesn't care it's like yeah I'm just like oh I don't know what happened no but well that's it for today thank you for the time the only thing at when I when we ship our dog from Puerto Rico here to Florida same thing temperature restrictions at our beach this was 2009 do you remember 15 years ago a big refinery in Puerto Rico that exploded one day I beg her yeah dude it was the same day no I don't know at the airport same thing in a lot of passenger planes that night that morning like at 6 in the morning oh I know before we went to get ready because I flight left a couple of hours later the dog was flying to Jackson we were flying to Orlando I had to get our car drive to Jackson we together and then drive down to Gainesville where we live but by the time we got home before we left back where the explosion happened I'm like we have no idea if you don't left or not and we have to make our flight so oh my yeah I get it I understand that trying to ship that from one country to another it's a very stressful time yeah I'm not even gonna tell the story of the bet and anything I was in a pain yeah 10 days to get that that certificate if not as expired I'll just say this no vet in the area was doing this certificate so I had to go to this very specific bed that was full of people because it's like basically pro bono and like five minutes in two dogs got in a fight I want to attack the other yeah I'm sure I've had high blood pressure throughout the entire week oh well such hours that's everything that's happened to me since I popped up on the podcast at one time we were so happy going to the gym that one day and then hell broke loose he didn't know no I finished Tempest breaker by Kevin how many of the name was I'm not gonna ask I just got to be my week that's your my week I was it as not as serious I finished them first breaker was okay I have some time some issues with it I won't get it it's also it's a great story I know that's a great standalone story my main drag with it is the placement how far along we are in phase three they felt out of place with the way they were not referencing events from tears of the nameless so I know all this has happened which cannot I stop with what's going on there's no mention of anything so that felt kind of weird and there's some other stuff but I won't get into it I'm not saying but great things I know I think I'm on the minority as a standalone story let me just listen to five and a half hours of Lona D being a menace that is great and we get a lot of marking row which was excellent I was I've been missing it was just some little things I didn't didn't sit well with me or whatever and I saw a mask of fear the reign of the Empire book by Alexander Fried I like six episodes I mean six chapters in it's very good very good you got our review copy or I got our review copy and there's no embargo date so I can just feel everything out right now I won't get in trouble anything you want to interpret the six chapters you have Sogara era modemothman and Bello Ganna are the main characters that you're following right now mainly all of them have their own chapters now Bell and Mothma are together in one shot okay I love the way that the three of them this is a few weeks after the fall of the Republic basically I've never been to the city I love that Bello Ganna is I'm sorry for anyone listening I won't spoil it too much some is a chapter and it's like 50 something chapter Bello Ganna went to more with the Jedi he's in Jada right now what the beginning first chapter went to Jada for a procession to remember the Jedi and everyone that lost their life and he feels this wake he was friends with the Jedi he's raising the daughter of a Jedi he wants to clear their name because even if the Jedi Council went to not I wanted to kill property not all the Jedi were in post so he's trying to together people to understand that the Jedi in general are good so that's where he went so I got rare is a maniac so he just trying to acquire weapons and armies and whatever just to get ready for another war and then modemothman is being whatever perfect politician out there going to the scene of a like when you see politician at the site of an earthquake or a hurricane in the jumpsuits oh no that destruction here's that she's down in Coruscant the governor for a week of going out with the rain jacket yeah exactly so it's a bunch of other senators touring the rebels in the underground in Coruscant trying to still play the part of the politician knowing that all this is f-top so I love that all three kind of took the end of it a little bit different but now he's trying to move the pieces to see how they're going to respond to the power them the rights of the Empire but with everything not trying to make this oh earth politics it's so frustrating when you read how the Emperor got to power and like this this crap is happening right now it's so obvious just one thing that Alex and the Frida graded saying that this wasn't like Papa didn't write superpower overnight they've been laying the pieces for these four years like changing legislation putting people in place that we're gonna be loyal to others and other he's on top now everyone's has the green light to whatever they want and whatever they think Papa is gonna enjoy you're gonna be happy that's all that they do and trying to like yeah exactly like the I'm sorry the report on the Empire has been setting this up for the last 12 15 years to be disposition now that Trump can worry once and nominate all these people and then they're gonna change everything to make everything horrible for half of the country even more and now you're reading this as Papa things like or I get angry because it makes a much sense yeah that's something I was tell people like do you think like Hitler woke up one day and told me in Germany like we're gonna start wearing swastikas and I was okay like now it wasn't like that like it took time yeah and Alex and if Tony Gilroy says okay I'm done doing politics in Star Wars and whatever and look at him wants to keep doing shows or movies in that vein yeah Alex and the free to write a treatment or a story because politics wise is nailing it so far and what he did with the office quality and the battlefront he gets it yep let's go out right though let's talk about kids and bikes all right I had some news I just I didn't type anything I got nothing prepared I just gonna mention it real quick James Mangold and Bo Williman finish about to finish their first draft for the draft for the Donate J.I. movie and it's straight from James Mangold this is not someone saying that they heard someone else say I just ate John Boyega Tokyo Comic Con taking pictures with Daniel Logan with Jude Law I don't know I don't think that means anything it means something to me I know it means something to me but I think it means what you think it means okay anyway it's fun to see him taking pictures with other people in the Star Wars family I he asked her I said should do the funniest whole thing ever they should be in public with a shirt that says episode 10 that's it you know what that even Star Wars one just like episode 10 in yellow I saw the shirt at Marshall then I liked it all right and then finally they feel only during in the premiere for skeleton crew was as about a so-cassism to he said it's almost done writing this to us a few arts or story based we can finish up or reveal that he's the sole writer for the series same as he was for season one and of course some people took that the wrong way but yeah I didn't expect anything less okay I don't care and I didn't expect anything else yeah I know it's whatever all right let me just put this comment look at friend Brandon out there Brandon based on us they were not hello there friends I'm extremely pleased with that premiere of the series I think it's great all around but I particularly love that pirate aspect this show is just so fun and adventurous all right so you guys have waited long enough well if you guys already I'm not already less Star Wars and Star Wars on TV I'm not your film you Obi-Wan Star Wars on TV all right skeleton pre-time oh good you that's my 80s oh my I like it feels like stranger things I'm not gonna like it kind of like a stranger things in X-Men how to be all right Oti um skeleton crew finally here they were supposed to come out last year for early 2024 they pushed it off a whole year I think you were one of the first I was saying yeah makes sense to be for Christmas or for the holiday season we are I said I thought it was maybe like a life based on it okay not to be similarly like um but anyway skeleton crew drove the first two episodes on Mondays it's been a while um we're a little bit late coming into this but just first overall thoughts on those two episodes that's my phone I'll just leave it there are you feelings? skeleton crew finally it's here they leave up to that 80s emblem feel it it unapologetically to its detriment and to its benefit I I was very happy with what I saw um I'll be super honest and I talked about this with Tony uh the whole Star Wars suburbs and school and kids and bikes kind of took me out of it for a while however once they got on that ship I was like whatever like I love this and it's it's odd it's gonna be something I think we're gonna talk about for a while if they go back to add add in it'll come up again but even if it took me out of it I highly appreciate how unapologetically it is about it and how it's like no we're literally making boonies in in space and they went for it and I think it works I've watched these episodes now three times each I had the time it came out Monday also plus I had time to watch it um I thoroughly enjoyed this this is I don't say what I expected I didn't even know what I expected but it hits that vibe of these are kids going on an adventure I seem to be silly at times it's gonna be dangerous at times um there's big dank I mean the intro to the series it's not a kid show that intro again that's a new hope right there but uh dreading to show you the kids are excited Star Wars suburbs but then they get into it so I did love that it did feel like ambling all those movies uh even strangest things I've mentioned before I didn't mind that the feel of the of adding just because I've seen the trailer so much I knew what to expect and the kids are great and we're gonna jump into them in a couple minutes the dynamic between them is great that's cool vibe which is kind of weird it's great I love the introduction of KB and Fern just at first they're already on the bike because in May and um so yeah and the visuals are great for this series we always was that doubt this is gonna live up to what we expect Star Wars to win and the music also hit the right notes between that 80s vibe was still feeling Star Wars so I'm very happy with those first two episodes so far I don't want to worry about it. You ask me a question?
No, I'll stop for a so let's start with the kids and again we won't go scene by scene we'll just talk to both episodes as we we go through it but and I finally wrote down the names so we remember we got Wim, Neil, Fern and KB uh before we go into all four of them was anyone of those jump out to you as the one you can relate to a little bit more than the others or one that you want to follow more? I'm a Neil guy I like the little dude I like him from the trailers and I like them in this show of course the tub scene is in the caulk Star Wars moment. Leave right there to our binary songs. Yeah I like all of them I like very specific things about women Fern that we can get to and ties back to the emblem of it all.
KB I thought was gonna be my favorite but right now I'm wanting more from her. Yeah so that's how I feel about the kids I love them I love their chemistry. It's great and I love it's two sets of friends and then they get together and it clears themselves. They put a little bit Wim and Fern.
There's a very specific line that I was like okay this is gonna work when Fern gets made the captain and I that said I want to be the captain. Yeah I love Fern is my favorite so far since our introduction and I'm not one that really loves kid characters or these rebellious I don't care about adults or the rules because to me they don't seem real they seem like oh this we're just acting I'm just gonna write these kids or whatever. I think it worked for her especially because her introduction was just writing that dirt bike or that speed I'm just going over the cliff all the way to school. Neil which I like Neil from the trailers I didn't fall into the Neil Nation camp.
He's adorable there's nothing bad that you can say about Neil he's a great friend he's like great that relationship between him and Wim is so great. Well so he's so in sense every time they say something has to come out with the truth. But yeah Fern to me is my favorite so far and going to similar to what you say interaction that I love between her and Wim is when they find the supposed day like temple and when she's calling on claims which I love that scene but first when she comes out behind the rock and Fern goes oh you me I just love it so she's just like yeah it's me and what you're gonna do about it and then oh no this is how I call claims no I call claims is right then I call unclamps is oh you cannot call unclamps is without the claimsor or I call claimsor now claimsor and then Neil's like oh they call claimsor it checks out checks out. Well but I'm same as you I want more from KB she's like this droid she's kind of like tech in the bad bash so far so far girl that android but I want to see more.
She's not an energy okay there's a cyclops. Yeah I don't think but she's the only one we don't know anything about her family like we know a little bit from each other from all the other kids families we haven't seen her with her parents or where she lives so maybe that ties up to her thing. Can we talk about the parents or they had that for later? I had it later for a family situation but yeah I was measuring Wim I love Wim is this adventurer once I know some people are comparing him to Luke Skywalker and are going that far yet he's just a kid he's bored at home he's boring his plan he just want to go out and just explore the neighborhood which is fine but unfortunately he got thrown into space he wants to be a jenna he's reading all the data history whatever tells the teacher yeah I just want to help people when they're in danger and Neil oh you told him you want to be a jenna who does that?
I like Wim and the whole Star Wars hero vibe to him like this whole yeah there's a large guy like say I love that scene when they're in the ship and they're in the captain's room and he was like how are we gonna go home and he's like what we got home we just got here yeah I found it funny like with Luke we have the twin sons moment of him looking for something out there and with Wim since it's 2021 then it's the 2021-2024 it's just a kid in his eye by the way I bet you're saying so just on the phone all day but then he has lived with his dad guessing his mom dies I can remember a story like mom you so it's overworked dad or either care some of his job that his kid doesn't have time to read him a best-time story he's like oh I got supervisor reviews or something they're gonna be around mushrooms you'll learn something for that week I'll see you later so I can understand when he wants more from life and go out and not be stuck at home starting for a place my job placement exam it's kind of been dealt at that hand at the moment with his dad not going around yeah with with both Wim and Fran I like that we saw that the parent dynamic and it ties to that ambulance story format where the parents either are not around or they are but they're incompetent or we just simply don't see them and here it's interesting because none of I mean let's see what we find out later on there's something more to this but like neither Fern or Wim's parents seem evil or me or anything I just feel like there's a massive disconnect between these kids and their parents these two specific kids where their parents want something for them but they just don't understand why they want that for them it's like oh you need to get good grace so you can be top of your class I was like why is that important why should it be important to me and in the case of the parents they don't understand their kids they don't understand what they want and they're just like imposing this worldview and there's oh you have to do good in this exam like but that maybe that's not what I want to do so there's just like this big that's gonna be between the kids and the parents I like that because then it sets up that whole thing where they're just gonna be absent from the story this very I'm glad I'm doing a little bit different from all those other movies in that you wouldn't see the parents anymore in those other shows that I put movies they're paying show up at one scene you see that they're incompetent then have way through the movie like why not they're looking for the kids but I love because they have the I went through it for nice dad was just and this was work a lot of time for you but you gotta do great at this stage so they can get a job and be like me and be busy I don't do anything the rest of your life but then first mom is this I forgot the title she has and things like her daughter is the top of her class I found this for you you're back on top and there's not a place right when I'm top but you're doing great I'm so proud of you meanwhile she's racing street bikes mind wiping the droids or she can like like to the mom it's like that you said they have a tunnel vision of their kids life and what they want them to be and then they're doing something completely and on the other end that you have Neil which seems to be with a perfect family has three siblings the twins is taking a bubble bath sparring slobbing is like yeah you haven't found here when it tells her I want to go home what am I family they're probably missing me I know it's not that you're that doesn't really work but family's waiting for me like that has that some police girl decal on the garage I gotta go back to my brothers like come on let's go yeah and then kv I don't know anything we don't know anything we don't know anything all right you want to talk at in theories or leave that for the end I know let's get into it I don't know like I don't think we have enough information for me to make an educated guest but I think there's clearly something up I mean there is something like no one knows about this plan but I don't know like why are they doing there I got so many theories none of them are gonna be right now I get one but I love first and I said we thought we're sure that they're not waiting five six episodes to reveal something like first episode yeah there's a barrier there's red dots on the sky so no one can leave there's a weird clouds hanging around so yeah there's something going on with this plan everything all apart from the parents that we saw but everything else is done by droids I did royse I drive in the bus that's right the teacher that's right the security why so many droids around they mentioned a great work not great works I don't know the second nation to a high repoly we have your now shirt and of course the old republic credits that why are they all republic reds there so my big and then like you mentioned when they finally turned on SM33 and we'll talk about him in a while but he was also great it's like others no mention of adding on my database which searched the records for my last location wasn't adding I don't know and then the other pirates in the port is oh adding that's amazed us a lost planet of eternal treasure so this is my big theory out there what's the biggest treasure out there is knowledge and who has knowledge that jedi and we've been talking about a healing jedi temple he mentioned sometimes jedi temples hide themselves on the ground where there's danger he's watching all these jedi things I think they're putting too much emphasis on jedi and jedi temple to not pay off on that at some point so my tinfo hat theory is that this planet was hidden away by the jedi or someone that's why it's no one knows about it and a big hidden and this around the time of all the 66 I'm saying when the republic was going down this planet was hidden somehow with those weird clouds and the big treasure it's this hidden jedi temple with some knowledge inside the bay hollow ground with names of ksi 4 sensitive for something else that related to the jedi and jedi is gonna find it that's where he's gonna get his lightsaber yeah no jedi it's not a jedi it has to force it's not a jedi but I think there's gonna be a lost jedi temple in aden and that's why it was kept off records I know what he knows about this is at this one that jedi are gone let's keep them healing I think that's it that's my big thing for hat theory is that jedi is the republic hid this planet away and there's a jedi temple containing some secret knowledge not secret but some forced knowledge and that's the eternal treasure that the pyro think is actual treasure treasure okay we'll see that's it that's great hopefully it works all right so the other character that was high on everyone's theories at first and i was really obvious is jot nana wood so bow so bow captain so we mentioned it last time what is it kind of pyro solid caribbean but he was he was the captain we're part of the pyro that there was a mutiny and now it's out on the out that's exactly what happened but i love that introduction the first scene with the non- croll awesome it was like those tunnels going into the show oh my god so like a like a Nile attack yeah oh it was great i can very new hope very three-some way forward so yeah i love new hope let me do my take on it that there was a moment i liked a lot um the area that got shot in the eye and this continuously reminds me of that moment in in line of the jedi when porter angles throws out like saber two in his head and he's like oh wait he's his brain is somewhere else that's right but i love the introduction it showed again that this even though it's quote unquote a kid show there's danger in it this parrot's mean based on the different people out of airlock killing half the crew i love broodos the weak wolf man we come see him and just shoot in everyone and then oh if this is uh whatever she where where we're cargo we had a magnet i see over it yes just one mitzley credit he gets thrown in the brig and of course she was in force at the end quick question do you think it really was that violent like more violent than me hope no i mean violent in terms of what i expected for a show story a younger cast of characters to start the story i was gonna start more with that planet and then let's go to school have you seen string your things though it was very interesting it's like tv and hey this is yeah um i don't know i i thought i saw everyone like oh it was so violent like i couldn't tell that to my kid i like if you can i can't see a whole because i just show it now it's there's no blood grains going out it was that tarantino movie oh no one lost their arm maybe i don't know a couple people died but i love that thomas going out i love that then they kind of shot back to the sort of tunnels but they have accounted for different those spaces just going and putting the balance on them i know what happened to the gold in the ship if it was gold we don't know what they were carrying we might someone else um and i i love not love i like that we know when this takes place i know it's supposed to be in them under laurie and time now but there have been some rumors it was gonna be between like season one and season two but on the star wars database now where it stands but talking a little bit more about jod nana wood which i guess now is nay we won't call him that anymore captain seo bow only got a little bit between at the end of episode two he used the force to get the key i loved a little now to keep a secret i love what he said the decent between us and the key is an illusion it's a very jedi thing to say cannot still push that belt in back of your head and see really be a jedi is he gonna win from the day like to piracy after order 66 there being a parloh one in all right like you know so far the little two minnow i got the jedi thing we got a variation of the jedi thing i like i heard i was like i was gonna be so happy finally i was extremely happy i was trying to screen grab it or listen plus one levi i again i like how much the show is uh an ode to the emblin feel i wasn't like how unapologetic a pirate show it is oh yeah and brittle that's what's the the station where they get to um borgo port borgo can we talk about the ships like they're just like waiting there they have strings like holding them together like if it was like an actual port to a lot or something like that um i love the pirates like i really am moving so i want this got me like in every direction i was shooting it i was like okay no i am definitely like a target audience and and and sylva like his everyone's like oh is that you're like that's definitely too well that's like seeing kylo right in the first i mean like i wonder if that's i'm private like yes it's not a driver um but i don't know like he yeah he's jack's barrel i mean i look i get same thing i love how much they're jumping to the pirate feel of it not being apologetic about it not try to hide it that's like yeah it's pirates in space now these are pirates it's obviously it's a pirates with ipatches with the same flint of guns and they do mutiny because you didn't give them you know if loot or whatever and boy borgo come on i said i love it in the trailer and here even more because they went all in in this that you said this is a beach somewhere with the the ball tender there the crappy cantina people throwing up uh they're doing yeah there's some sand on the floor we wouldn't notice and by the way this is the volume look great uh so it's again we don't know any we don't know how to show some so complain give people time to learn how to use the technology but you know what i thought i think that was it like i don't know i wasn't a production but i think maybe that the layover one year helped them maybe work on all of this and thinking about them are in the middle and grow which we just learned rap rap and it's it's coming out in like two years then i'm like okay fine if it's really if it's really just a thing of it takes time then have all the time you need it yeah exactly i was thinking about that not in the turns of the volume but it makes sense that like fantastic for they said you'll finish rap shooting a couple whichever comes out next summer but none do i know we finish a month ago and still a year and a half or is it taking so long if it takes this long to make the movie looks better and clear out any kind of issue with the volume then yeah we'll wait we'll have visions and all this stuff in between but i can point borgo just the whole vibe on it then the weird the co-tock-tick fairy man that takes in from the ship to the the scary stuff i love that crazy little guy yeah but the whole vibe of the port was great and first i love that they don't want to go through they just take us home i was unaware i love sm 33 we'll talk about it and i'm gonna just point into all these stars okay tell me we're at adenis and i'll take you captain i don't know okay take us to the to the port at the end why do you bring us to a pirate port because we are pirates we're not pirates we kids oh what they get destroyed but sm 33 me let's talk about to me um i love this introduction not just when he posted on the 11 turns everything on just when he walks into oh captain why don't we always do with his storeways and i throw that all the airlock and then again i love friend which i can do with that droid droid i'm your i killed your captain that's why i'm here it's not all right what do i want me to do with this storeways captain and then it's that scene that you said oh i wanted to be the captain i a sec frost Santa Claus from dr who yeah oh yeah great great dream you droid i love when he rescues them in point ball go where he kind of grows let go my captain beats everyone up uh i'm again friend ah i'm not living here without kb and then we're like what about us and the boys okay we'll take the boys so that now with those four kids i'm great um yeah i don't know what else what else we have is that scene when they find the ship and go into and just oh it's me i love when oh show me how to fly the ship he goes to the half uh point they said throw so in this and the main is i'm signing on this and then kb is yeah i got it i got it i love that whole sequence in the ship like them going in and win you know scene the green button and being like don't touch anything i'm being like nope oops um again he just wants adventure and he's like i want to know what's in here what this is all about and the whole launch sequence was very cool i got that she was upside down and i had to like get straight and i don't know it was super cool yeah that whole scene was great um i love kb even though we still don't have a lot to go with her that she is the rational one well if we follow this conduit we leave also a power i just need to wake it up bang bang again i love that and going on to to win i wanted to touch that green button then doing it when the whole ship is moving and smiz can't turn it out or what's this button no no don't touch it don't ever initiate that sell this drug sequence i wasn't gonna touch it then you were gonna touch it yeah um i and everything that happened in the i gonna keep forgetting the name of the place they go but everything there you know like win paint with the credits and everyone really like what do you got like that's been conditioned and no one believing them when they say like they they're from adan and me like oh it's like the place from i don't know like from legend um oh and even them going into the the the prison they go into like i get straight out of affairs with the car B and like oh that's trained the mouse over and it's only done right so i don't get the key yeah uh what do you think that it's also this brothel or street club or whatever they almost got in there like oh my god was that feeling or that woman trying to help or was she really going to kidnap them i kind of had the feeling that she was gonna help them but i don't know like this is like this is the most likely cantina on steroids yeah oh i loved it and again when when they get captured and broot is coming like oh throw them in the brig or what i'm saying uh we'll talk to them later and she's like i'm right you're here just talk to me now you have questions ask me right now like i like this girl she's gonna get killed pretty soon but i like her attitude and throw them in the brig what's a brig just get this kid or kids you know anything about the real world but wait i'll let it in the shot and he's sad and i'll do it as a crew is wizard it is indeed alan yeah something wind keeps repeating wizard how would he know what wizard is if if they are shielded from the rest of the galaxy i mean we saw just a regular word they have words uh so i don't maybe alan what's the name of the not name but the the job for first month i know we forgot it was like under secretary something someone posted online that that same person like the under secretary i'm gonna say maria i know it wasn't maria but there's one already in a book with that name and works with the empire at the end of the rebellion or something so i don't know if it's the same person i couldn't believe it's not from karen really yeah so there's no confirmation is the same character but we'll see so some people are trying to place that at in moi's uh empire type planet when i think it's more our republic but they do talk about the republic don't talk about high republic inside at adding they just talk about the republic in general but for the mention of the great work and inside ferns not yeah ferns home there's this big mural in divaia looks like lina so almost there and some jedi around itself there's some connection or some background connection to the haripaulic i don't think we'll get anything in your face like yeah this happened really haripaulic times well i would be shocked but it would make sense yeah and where do they get all republic credits from they always happen all right um so yeah i think that's it great great introduction to the show great character so far and it's a lot there's a lot of different things in the story that gets us excited for the next one it's not just and they get home or it's like there's all these other questions all the planet about dude's loss character what's really going on in that area how can the kids get back home how are you gonna escape the pirate ship or the pirate port so there's a lot of questions out there that get me excited for the next couple of weeks and i think we're not too far off two stays right there so huh i don't think anything else you want to talk about i was just in general like i was just so like the i don't think the show did anything that surprised me it was i think everything i thought it would be but the presentation was just so solid and so good that i was i was just so happy with it and being finally witnessing what they promised like it's during your things in space i was like yeah it definitely is yeah yeah it delivered on that promise he i want to say deliver because i didn't promise anything about it but the characters are all lovable and enjoyable you want to take follow them sometimes all these shows there's one or two characters you're like any whatever i want to follow these storylines so far i guess only two episodes but so far each character and each of the little storylines or family dynamics that they set up are very interesting and let's see what happens in the planet because i know from the trailers i first that gets together with wins mom to try to find them and i at least i know this i see between them like our kids are last we need to find them so i think we're gonna go back to that planet in between and see maybe learn a little bit more all right um i think i was gonna say something damn it i forgot i don't know i can't wait for more oh no i remember now my only concern with the show though it's something that if you watch for your things you've probably noticed um oh okay it's been sure things technically takes place over five years but the kids were ten and now they're married yeah joining um the show came out way later that was supposed to so these kids are what two or three years older than they were when they shot this so i haven't seen them um out there so i don't know how they look but i bet they don't look the same hey i can buy it like if they say like no this explains like immediately after the end of the first season and they're like four years old they'll be like oh we keep watching straight just things we still we know it's so not as old now but yeah i can it depends we don't know this is a one-and-a-one show i know star wars hasn't had the best record in renewing things alan knows it's always for sale the acolyte especially with money i think that the the plan was three seasons and a movie but we never heard that this was planned as a multi-season show it was a limited series so we'll see how this story this story goes for this first season if it really deserves another one but i need all gonna go back to rating so if it's a success i'm sure the final way to do more i i want to mention something alan thank you for pointing this out because i mentioned it in my show i completely forgot i like the reversal like the goal of the pirates it's to go where the kids need to go because that's their home and i think it was an interesting play on the formula of these kinds of stories because then going back to their planet probably means the pirates are gonna follow them so how are they gonna maneuver this so i thought that was very interesting yeah we know they make it back we've seen there's scenes in trailers and in behind the scenes featurettes that their back and the planets are back with their parents that we haven't seen yet so i don't think those are the last episode kind of scenes so don't probably make it back at some point halfway through a season and then have to deal with the pirates or whatever and we know the ex-win show at some point oh nice i was gonna say something when i forgot oh just talking about the kiss being different age i saw a movie just so it's not the greatest movie it's not that bad uh on paramount it's called foggy something center with jack black uh uh dea center you know what the kid is it's Neil yeah so like oh okay i get my new fix and it's the same thing because he has a crush on a girl at school same thing i know i crush on a girl yeah so it's like oh i'm watching Neil without the elephant mat so it's cool again i love also all the the school scenes because i have kids in middle school and they're going through exactly all this so i relate to it as a parent what she was happening there and again going back to Neil and how innocent he is when kb's like oh tell us who your crush is at school and he blokes it out extremely quick and like oh no she made me say it like Neil just take it easy let me agree so what from with it i i thought everything worked but yeah and i was very surprised because working with kids is hard it's but in in in movies and shows i mean so i was so happy to see like there was no issues there and some drops off it all right so that's it for star wars skeleton crew episodes one and two uh what were the names of them have it written down this could be a real adventure and way way out the barrier so can we for episode three next week i know some people have seen it already at least there's no spoilers out there it's not that i've seen yeah and then tomorrow uh i forgot doing doing prophecy tomorrow oh i i missed the third episode i think it was yeah so i need to watch it but it's been good yeah i thought that tomorrow's one is great it's almost over it's almost over i get the book it's gonna be like 20 pages it's based on three novellas and the three novellas are collected here so i mean they can play it to the hobbit was three movies and it was even smaller i
