And welcome to another episode of Radio Rebel, and I'm your host, Alvita Cardero, and I'm back with us this week. It's my friend, I go host Alty Wan, Kando Ren, and Alty, and I'm here to show you how you're doing. Welcome back, you were busy last week, back this week, to talk to some. We have for five minutes, maybe, ten minutes.
They won't figure things out, but I'm the nice singer. Nice seeing you too, nice seeing everyone in the chat, although Altyn has written right now. I'm doing fine, I'm doing fine. I've been having a relaxing day so much so that I forgot to watch the rings of power.
You just remember two minutes ago. No, I remember, I was like, as I was talking, I was thinking about what we were going to talk about, I was like, there's not really anything, oh, it's so power. And for once you cannot blame me, I didn't send you a show. When I was like, I told you yesterday, we're not talking about rings of power, yeah, yeah, I'm right there with you.
Yeah, no, because my plan was, I wasn't going to watch it yesterday, my plan was to watch it today, and I was telling everybody I was doing things in the morning, and I got back here like an hour ago, so it would have been like the perfect slot of time to watch it, and I was like, no, I'm going to play some of those for an hour, because I really forgot that. I've watched it twice, so I'll speak for both of us when we get to there. I almost watched it after the time, because I went up for it last week, I mentioned last week my daughter's to a cross country, and we have to be placed at seven in the morning, which means I need to wake up at five-thirty and start driving, and then my son is doing basketball right after, so I'm beat, but we're here. Another Star Wars Saturday, and like you said, a friend Dale is here, so hi Dale, thanks for joining us today.
On this Star Wars journey, so for Dale, anyone else that might be joining us later, or maybe watching, like this video, comment down below if you're watching this and the other replay, and it's your first time, subscribe to our channel, so you don't miss great in-depth conversation about stuff we haven't watched yet, and audio podcast also, great thing to review, you guys know, other fun stuff. So I mentioned last week that we're trying to get the author for the May's window, the Glass, the Glass, the book, Stephen Barnes, here on the show, get us some questions, I finished the book last week, or this past week, I should say, I got a few questions written, I got to send them over there, but if you guys have one or two questions, you want to ask burning questions about May's window, DM me or something on Twitter, and I'll see if we can get them there, and hopefully we can get them here soon. So, I think you mentioned you've been playing Star Wars at Lost, that was a little bit about it, I haven't played it yet, I'll play it at some point, like we say in 2032, I'll start playing it, how's the game so far? It's fun, it's kind of a clunky game, like it, I think it's like, it kind of looks like the Jedi fall in order game, like it looks very similar aesthetically, but it controls so much difference, a little bit more rigid, so I don't know, there's something about it that feels weird to me, but I don't know, it's kind of fun, like having this Western slash gangster story in Star Wars, like at one point someone was like, oh, you gotta go see this underbuds from the bikes, and I was like, okay, this is the grandfather.
So, I don't know. So, are you playing this story or are you just exploring the whole world? No, I'm playing this story, if I start exploring, I'll lose in your life. So, yeah, I'm like super at the beginning of the game, but it's been interesting to see that style of story, this kid from nothing, going up the ranks of this crime family or something, it's a fun take on Star Wars.
Yeah, cool. Yeah, I've heard good things about it, some people are having trouble with this element, not despite kind of... Oh, the self, I hate it. I always just end up shooting people.
All right, but at some point I'll get it. Oh, play it, we'll get to the game pass or something. All right, so, sad news, I guess, just to talk a little bit about it, I mentioned everyone knows, it's sad passing on James St. Jones this week, we know him for, of course, voice in Darth Vader, Mufasa, the Sandlot, he was in one of the Conan de Vibariam movies, I remember from way back when, and a bunch of...
How's America? Coming to America, come on, clean Zamonda. So, sad news, but yeah, it's, unfortunately, it's the way we live in, it's coming to all of us, but it's sad to all these people that we grew up with now are starting to wake up in the back of our face, us as we always, always, always people that talk about it here, so, a big loss for everyone out there. Yeah, I mean, he was Darth Vader, and he was Mufasa, two very different father figures, right?
But both are larger than life. Yeah, no, I was very sad when I read the news. Obviously, he was 93, like he was not a young man in any way. He had a long career, very, very big legacy.
And yeah, it was just like, sad as you said, like these heroes that we've had, like every time they share that picture of the original cast, most of them are black and white, it's like... Yeah, the footage goes with all of them out there. Unfortunately, it's, they keep adding here. I'll put on this part a little bit, but it's there kind of James O'Jones, it can be Star Wars, anything, it's kind of moment that comes out of you think about that, oh yeah, that's Star Wars, I guess, kind of Darth Vader, that kind of resumes with you.
I don't think about it, because I don't have one right now, I gotta take it. Like, you're saying like out of Darth Vader role. Whichever. No, I'm thinking like non-Darth Vader, I think.
I don't love the Big Bang Theory. I don't really like it. But his cameo in that show is so legendary. And also, Carrie Fisher was up in that episode, so it's also funny and he's James O'Jones, so they're all like freaking out about it.
And he's like, yeah, fucking awesome. So, yeah, no, I think that moment is forever gonna be very legendary. And very legendary, I will always be mentioned, like when they talk about his work, because it was just so huge. Yeah, apart from all the Star Wars, kind of, remember and sounded, that was the one that a lot of people were sharing online this past week.
Going away from Star Wars, to me, I mean, the Sandlot is very kind, especially the character, he's playing all the kids care of him with a big dog behind the fence, and he's just a scary person, that loves baseball so much. And then, like you mentioned, I just remember in coming to America, playing this great king out there, going totally to the end of everything, all those, seeing all those great characters, he just plays a great king's among the other. So, big loss, impossible shoes to feel. But we're glad that at least we were here to, to have him in this family in this Star Wars.
It's amazing that we got him, like, and he's like one of those iconic things from that first day. And then he came back so many times that, like, and each time I was like, okay, that's probably the last time, and then he came back, and then he came back. So, because he did Rebels, he did Rehwan. Rehwan, yeah.
This is one of those. No, sorry, go ahead. No, even in Rehwan just a Sith one, that happened in the theater was like, Oh, that's it. Yeah, it's, we, I mean, don't worry, there's so many actors that play like very well.
The first I come to my grandma is James Johnson, I call him a boy, so, and that you said, we cannot take it for granted, every time that is confirmed that he's coming back, we all lose our minds. Like, oh, yes, no, it's Vader's back. Even if I wrote once, like, oh my God, after so many years, he's back, but even for a couple of minutes, what's great happening in there? Even in Rehwan, like, and again, it's like just, it's because of his legacy, but like, I remember feeling like, okay, that's definitely James Johnson, but that's like a very old, James Johnson.
I was like, okay, it's, I think it's okay if they find someone else to do it. But every time he came back to do it, I think it can only be was also him. Like, I'm not gonna be mad that he's here. It's almost as, it's interesting because it's a character, like it's kind of like the same thing with Hayden Christensen.
Do I wanna, and again, Darth Vader show? No, but I'm not gonna complain if they do it. Cause it's him. There's so many talk, and we'll talk about Ken Owing.
I mean, do we need more stories for that? Yeah, maybe not, give it to me. And now with the new Mufasa Lion King movie coming out. And I know he's not, I think he's not involving anybody.
Still gonna be emotional. I'm sure they don't have a tribute for him at some or something that's gonna be extremely emotional. And I was also gonna mention like, my second favorite, James L. Jones, like character is Mufasa.
Like, I love the Lion King. It's really, really one of my favorite movies. Oh, I'd like to see it as Voodle. Like, oh my God.
It's, yeah, I mean, we'll live in there. It's just great. Also, it was great in it. If you wanna have a good laugh, there are videos where they have like Darth Vader scenes with Mufasa's voice.
Like with the dialogue from the Lion King. And it's pretty funny. I'll have to check that out. All right, so my lighter news and happy news.
You and my Gregor got a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame this past week. I think Friday, I think it is Thursday or Friday. Of course, Hayden Christensen was there to talk about him. It was like, great, I follow everyone that was posting on it.
Very emotional also and very well deserved. So, you and my Gregor are starting next to Gary Fisher that was a surprise for a lot of people. It's next to her? Yes, I think Gary Fisher is on top.
It's an empty one and then you and my Gregor right underneath. That one's for Harrison Ford. Yeah. And then like you mentioned, like, oh, I had the Christmas I think on SmackDown, of course, we'll take him.
They asked, like they always feel like I'm a Gregor. I was to do more everyone. And he said, yeah, I think there's more story to tell between what we left in the TV show to when we made him in, and you hope. And of course, I find that when while I was, yes, yes, he was more, he was more.
I'm like, I think I'm OK with it, but I won't be mad if come celebration time. Oh, he's coming back with something else. I of course have a very biased opinion on this. That's where the one that's season for Obi-Wan.
Like, is it stretching it a little bit? Yeah, do I care? No, not really. Because for me, that time in Tatooine was never sacred.
Like, I don't know, people sometimes act like those 19 years. Like, if they change that, that damages my childhood. It's like, come on, I'm like, only one was allowed to have fun. It was 20 years.
And I think the way, even the way the series ended, with him giving a lot of that role to Owen and to Veru, kind of, you can take care of him when I'm not here. He can go have a side adventure for a couple of years, come back 10 years in between, but it can happen. Oh, what was that? See someone else is in the chat.
Oh, yes. Buck is in the chat. He's saying, move on. That is easily the best dad character in this, and I agree.
Yeah. And he's also saying, he want to start his right next to Carrie Fisher's. So yeah. Right.
No, I just want to say, like, I don't know what that show would be. Like, I'm down for the reality, a home decoration show, and then the hut. But I don't know, like, I'm down for whatever they come up with. It doesn't need to be a continuation of it.
It can be a different show around that. 10 years later. 10 years later. And there's always something else.
Nicely show about the path, right? Trying to find all the Jedi other issues. So I'm happy to talk to you. So we'll see.
Maybe word spread out. Spread out that he's out there. And someone goes to Teton, we need to find him. Like, I'm in the Jedi.
Don't need to tell him. And Veru is like, don't send me again. I need a break from this guy. I didn't even my ass kicked every time I run into him.
I need to recuperate for a little, like, send someone else. All right, so if you guys are ready, I'm not ready. Let's talk Star Wars and Star Wars news. Star Wars news.
All right, sorry. There we go. Our first official news item is coming from. In a recent interview, and I'll be honest, I don't know where this quote came from.
But Jon Favreau talked about the upcoming Mandalorian Grogo movie, and some fans were too happy or too keen about the way he phrased these comments. And this is the part of the comment that is out there. He said, part of what we're setting out to do is to have something that rewards people who have been with these shows in the beginning, being with Star Wars since the beginning. I didn't take too much of it to make sense.
Of course, if you've been watching them on the line for three seasons, we're going to reward those fans. And then I got some people wrote back to me and want people who were just right on Twitter on that anyway. What's the second point where he says, already, we're working, the fans have been with Star Wars at the beginning. A lot of people took this as stop rewarding fans, tell us, give us a good story.
We need to move away from the sky, work inside, under the whole trilogy. We need new stuff. What are you doing? Are people reacting?
I do. You understand where they're coming from. I think you said you hadn't read the quote. Me reading it to you.
What are your initial thoughts on it? Like, let's say Luke shows up. And let's say it's the coolest scene ever. Again, when they did it in season two, you've got to freak out in the theater, just like me and everyone else.
So get off the high horse. And even if some of our friends think like that, like I get it, 100% agree, Star Wars needs to. And here's a person saying that we don't need another Obi-Wan show, I just wanted, but I agree. We need to move Star Wars forward.
But I don't know if the Mandalorian movie is the thing to do. I don't know if John Farro is the person to do that. I think he did what he was going to do. And he just wants to have fun.
I hope when this year, my graduate coming came out and everyone was pushing for season two of CanO, just a remote in the character. Almost weird as something. It was going to be like two bitches, I guess. It's like one end.
We want to move away from the skywalk, because I have around the other end. We want to keep with those characters. It's not one. It's like, pick a side.
Another side you can say, well, can Obi can tell a story away from Luke and all that stuff. But anyway, and to me, the Mandalorian from Farro, even from season one, he's been trying to think story on Trillot. He's mentioned how much he loves the real Trillot. We all freaked out when the little poll that they're using, and you hope to hold the trash impact that showed up on one side.
Oh, look. Oh, we're in the cantina. Now it's a dried-all, because you remember everyone's freaking out. But now we're at a point where hating the Mandalorian is what's fun and hating Farro and Filoni.
So I think people are just, and of course, this comes after the cancellation of the Akola, which was the something new in Star Wars. It's like you're trying to leave something new, giving us the old. So understand why people are still a little bit upset with Luke as well. But it doesn't surprise me that this is where the Mandalorian is going to go, the movie, because that's how we've been getting for three seasons.
So to me, it's not a surprise that he said he's going to reward fans of the Mandalorian and fans having with Star Wars instead of getting it, because that's him. He's been with Star Wars from the beginning, and this is what he's been doing for three or four years now. So I don't know why people are so salty about it. And also, every single Star Wars everything calls back to the original movies in some way, shape, or form.
Everyone who comes into Star Wars is a fan of the original trilogy specifically, specifically someone like Tony Gilroy, who we make this parody of him, where he's this guy who doesn't care. He probably doesn't care, but he likes the original trilogy because they changed how movies are made. So everyone's a fan of that. So they're all always going to call back.
They're all always going to connect in some way, shape or form. Yeah. Anyway, and it's difficult. We don't know the story.
We saw some potato camera. I want me to have. We don't know where it's going. It was pretty cool.
I still think that this is going to be a lot of fun to watch on that. Like that scene with them falling on the walker and getting to the bottom and the 80s, 80s, I'm like, oh, that's cool. And maybe Luke shows up in his ex wing and slices them. Because I mean, season two demand the lawyers regardless for most people.
And I know and a lot of people say that's better. But season two demand the lawyers regardless the best season of Star Wars TV so far. For a lot of people, especially in the three of demand the lawyers season two. And I understand people didn't enjoy or after the fact, the CGI looks shy, walking instead of using the actual actor, which I agree, but everyone lost the freaking mind.
And I don't give me CGI look, which I don't want look in this movie, I don't think we need them. We'll see for this story. But I think about the Lawrence at that point, Luke has filmed it's a win. I mean, in the end, I don't see him make all the money that they wanted that movie cost 300 million, whatever it was.
Mandalorian, it's what brought a lot of casual fans into Star Wars, a lot of people. And they're just going to see Baby Yoda, and little Grogo said, let's go watch the Baby Grogo movie. And that's what they need. They need to make money right now.
And this seems like a shoe bet, as long as it doesn't cost 300 million. And I think it's a good way to go out to bring us all back into a theater for Star Wars. We'll see. All right.
I'm just going to highlight a real quick bug. We're kind of agreeing with his comments. Exactly. As I say, every story after the first one is fan service.
They all built up the first one. You can't escape it. And exactly the comment he should be making. All right.
So with that, we'll move to the Star Wars news. That's only Star Wars news. So we go to that part of the show. We talk about Star Wars and the television news.
Star Wars on TV, and I change it a little bit. I'm not your film. Obi Wan. Star Wars on TV.
Star Wars on TV. Not as long as before. No. We have someone new in the chat.
Diro. Adiwalo. Adiwalo. Welcome Diro.
You're new. Thanks for joining us. Just in case. Is it getting sick?
New people going to make you sick? No, no, I'm getting sick. That's the show progresses. Yeah, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that being on the show makes you sick. Yeah, I'm allergic. You spend too much time in Florida. If you're back in Puerto Rico, that change is the same type of weather.
So don't complain. All right, Adiwalo. We got brand new Star Wars. I forgot it was coming out this week.
So Lego Star Wars reveal the galaxy. Lego has been doing great Star Wars special for the past couple of years. We got a Halloween one a couple of years ago. This one was four episodes.
Each one is about 25 minutes. I think it would have worked better as a whole movie. Just put this out there as a Star Wars movie on Disney Plus. It's about an hour and 40 minutes.
Each episode is just a continuation of the first one. So I think it would work better as a movie. But it's Star Wars Lego. They're fun, like we mentioned before.
I know you, unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to watch it. But are you excited when you get a chance? I just hope, think of watching it. Are you just want to hear me talk about it for five minutes or ten minutes?
Just talk about it. I don't want to watch it. All right. So you just check this chat.
I think there's someone else in the other. But not the other ones being here before. Greg C. Greg C saying, hey guys, good to see you guys back on my streaming.
All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
We'll try to. There's not a lot to talk about. Right. But anyway, Lego Star Wars, I enjoyed it.
Like I said, Lego does some great stuff with specials out there. I'll say the first episode to me took a little bit to get on. But I'm going to say it's going to be my fault. I've only watched the first trailer.
And maybe I saw a clip or something. I thought this was going to be a different kind of story that something was going to happen, that universe gets all thrown out of work. And we were going to see or have these new characters, Zig and they have these two brothers and Jesse, no furthers, which is funny. So people working as no furthers.
And then they were going to be kind of interacting with scenes that we know in Star Wars. And then they just going to be kind of different versions of scenes that we've seen already. And it wasn't that. It's its own story in its own way.
And then the characters are different inside the Star Wars universe. So it's not that we go to the pod racing scene, for example, on a set of all the wins or Darth Vader doesn't turn to a dark side. It's a different version of those characters. So what would that be?
What do you mean? It's like a multiverse. It's not a what if. It's not what if Darth Vader never turned to a dark side.
It's not that. It's not that. It's just so these two brothers, deaf and sick, one of them is force sensitive. They find a Jedi temple, a lost Jedi temple.
And there's of course a magical Lego piece called the Cornerstone. It's glowing and all this stuff. They pull it out of the temple and then the universe gets thrown out of whack and a new galaxy is built. So the whole thing is he meets the Jedi Bob, but we know in hand, it's very excited to be back in Star Wars.
He's trying to help him. Okay, if we find another Jedi temple, we can pull this corner stone back and then your galaxy can come back and everything is back the way it was before. And the first episode is all that we'll be able to just you learn in who the new characters are, what is so respond to with. There's really not all the other Star Wars characters or this other base result and that comes in episode two, three and four.
On that line, bucket saying, I really love that the special took its time to set up the new characters and they really pay off the emotional journey throughout the story. I think it's right. Two amazing things I think I thought it was going to be a different type of show. I was like, okay, I just want to see the fun, wookie bounty hunter, what I want to see something else.
So this first episode to me was a little bit slow, but once I can figure, okay, this is the tell a different type of story. It does work. It does have a lot of cool emotional connection especially to the end. So these two brothers when the galaxy gets rebuilt, then of those separate ways or death, no sick, who's the one that's for sent is the sense it.
If he doesn't change because he was inside the light temple, his brother, death in this new galaxy is not his brother. They're not brothers, but death doesn't know about it. He goes by the name Darth Devastater because all the power is we are names like that. And he's trying to get the corner piece, this corner stone to basically destroy the galaxy or whatever he wants.
But the fun thing through it, we see dark ray, we see C3PO is about the honor, the Jawa's are bounty hunters in their X-wings that have the Thai fighter cockpit. Beach looks Skywalker is one of my favorite characters. So they go to Tatooine, there's water there, it's the, or mostly ice leaf, Marina cantina, everyone has about the pot raising this over the ocean. Beach looks seems like he should be in Barbie with all the other looks.
And then we get all the other states, dark ray, dark knobs, dark rose teaco. Dark knobs? Dark knobs is there. He goes right before Dark Georgia.
We also in the trailer. Dark moll is there, but just as more, but he's dressed as Lando Calrissian with a scarf, the yellow shirt, like Lando in the solo movie at the end as the yellow shirt with a black and white scarf. That's what Moll is wearing. It's one of the good guys.
That was pretty cool. Oh, when the universe, right before the universe kind of goes haywire, they show you scenes of all the different movies. And there was a funny joke during the last Jedi when they were in in, in Crete and oh, let me taste this white thing. Oh, salt.
And then the universe kind of reorganizes. They do the same thing. Pepper. It's funny.
At the beginning because the star was already told the kids out there. He's kind of recounting the sequel to the movie. Yeah, I'm cranking now. And it's Moll, I'm a cranky one.
It's Moll, I'm not doing the voices. Yeah. So the second episode is basically sick and Jesse. It was this girl that both of them are kind of eyeing in this new galaxy.
She's part of the rebellion, but she can't be a majority of them. So it's like she's not a monster size. We kind of gave away the position of the rebel base. So it's the two of them with Jedi Bob trying to find the Jedi temple to put their piece back together while his brother is Darth never stayed on all the other Sith or after them trying to get the piece for themselves.
Clone troopers are egg bars or return. They took it. It's a trapez, a trapez. All the clone troopers.
It's so what else? Yeah. It's so random. It's very random.
It's pretty cool. Because when the change happens and they don't death or seek doesn't know that it's a different galaxy. It's like clone troopers. They're not around this time period.
And then he says, like, no, you're one of the good guys. You're a rebel leader. Oh, rebel, you're a rebel. We got the dark Falcon.
No, if only part is Han Solo and Greedo are working together. They fly in slave one. But Greedo is with Leia. It's not Han Solo.
So Leia and Greedo are together. Yeah, that's been on your water. And when slave one or fire spray, when he pulls out and I start to fly off, two ears come out, like Greedo ears. And it's like Greedo's face just right away.
And then on the other side, you have Jedi Master Shift Palpatine, Jedi Darth Vader, Jedi Cat Bane, Jedi Jabba the Hutt. So all these evil guys are now Jedi, but they're not doing anything. They're just kind of hiding away. Oh, Jedi, no, but is that Jedi?
Han Solo turns out to be a traitor. And then through all these, yeah. So the whole thing is that the sick wants to bring his galaxy back and want things to be the way before. But then it's revealed that what Jedi Bob has been telling him was a lie.
There's no way to bring that galaxy back. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Please confirm. Jedi, I-G-E-11?
Yes. Jedi Jabba. Oh, there you go. Yeah, a lot of these are not named.
They're just there. And you need to know who they are. Yeah, they're like- Grand Master Shift? Exactly.
So she file for things there. He don't say do it at one point. He hates it. And he's a Jedi?
He's not- he's Yoda basically of the Jedi Council. We don't get a Jedi Council. I find- No, he's a- no. He's a good guy.
It's kind of weird. I thought he was a bad guy. No, but who's a bad guy then? So these six brothers, he's one of the new characters.
Oh. That goes like Darth Devastator. He looks like Kylo Ren. If you don't know who you think is your Kylo Ren, especially with Dark Ray, Dark Ray and Dark Rose Tiko are pretty cool because they just want to destroy the galaxy.
And Dev is kind of going his own path. So by the way, you know the fourth episode is all the Sith of this Dark Ray. There's no Tiko, Dark Knobs, and Dark Dogger fighting Dark Devastator. The emotional- one of the most of things that Buck was talking about is when bless you.
When they tell C that they can't bring his galaxy back, he won't have his brother again because his brother is even. Does he even know that he's his brother, his family, and everything he knew back home, all that is gone. They have to basically start over in this devo galaxy or in this parallel universe. So that took a while to kind of get that relationship back.
But then by the end, let me get it to where I am. But that's a great space battle. I didn't specifically cause all the spaceships are different. Like these are destroyers are part of the rebellion, the X-wings are from the Empire.
So a pretty cool space battle. The Millennium Falcon, which is evil, that black one from the radar dish is a Death Star laser. So just to show you, we can find the Millennium Falcon. Yeah, basically by the end.
So there's always that temptation. Dark Side telling his brother, hey, join me. I'll be your brother, which is what you want. We can do the galaxy as the two of us always wanted.
You have your family back, but you have to let Jedi Bob die. Cause he lied to you and all this other stuff. But of course, he cannot say it's not what I want. This was very for the galaxy.
And he doesn't help him. They find another Jedi Temple, put that corner stone piece back. And then that galaxy is kind of set. Like things won't change anymore.
But it's still this older galaxy. The dark Devaser is still out there. It's alive, so maybe there's going to be a sequel to this. Dark Ray and Dark Lord Stikor go to find someone.
They say we want to find this sick guy that he messed up our plans. And I hear you're the one that's going to help us. You can find anyone. And it's the Mandalorian.
But it's the Lando-Lorian. It takes a helmet out. And it's Lando-Cau-Rision under the Mandalorian armor with a baby Yoda there. So cool reveal.
I don't know if it was Billy the Williams. It sounded like him. So that's kind of how it ends. So again, it was cool, Nago's story.
I think it would work better as a whole, as a movie instead of cutting it down to four episodes. It looks like they can do more with it. And I think now that I know what the story is, I might enjoy it more if I do a second rewatch. I just thought the story was going to be something else.
And that's only for not watching all the trailers or all the promotion out there. Okay. All right. See, there's a bunch of comments.
Let me look through the questions. You didn't watch it. They were asking for Hondo. Hondo was somewhere.
Hondo. I don't remember seeing Hondo. There's, oh, and of course Northmore, Yolangrips. So there's, what's her name?
Give me one second. G.S.E. So yes, it's this girl from the Reno planet or the real galaxy that C is kind of interested in. But in this new galaxy, she's a rebel soldier.
And unfortunately, she transmits with a rebel-based sealant. So they get a lot of them and put them in prison. Of course, they have the Nokina 5 jumpsuits. And that's why you have Grievous.
He doesn't do a lot, but he's one of the good guys. So he's there. Yeah. Jessica captured Maul.
He's someone that comes and rescue them. Yeah, I didn't see Hondo. Like Bob was saying. Making Jon and Rose for Sentative for the so-called genius.
Kind of works. I mentioned that. Oh, sorry. So many.
All right. All right. So yeah, if you guys, oh, I asked out there on my friend from Twitter, Peter's or at Peter's or I asked what favorite parts from the Lego episode and Peter's or said, J. I mastered Palpatine.
Palpatine has always been my favorite Lego series character. He's always also bunkers and he's so damn funny how they twist it. That only said, and was fun. It was fun to see old sheaves there, old white, because they were wearing just all white robes.
So you do achieve. Yeah. All right. So that's our thoughts on Lego Star Wars rebuild the galaxy.
Now, these are always fun. Everyone out there loves them. So I'm pretty sure they're it set up for a sequel. Even if it's four or five months from now or next year, they released four more episodes.
I think it works. They left it open for more stories. All right. So now we go to that for this show.
We talk about something else that's not Star Wars in a world between fandoms. All right. All right. We're between fandoms.
You just told us at the beginning, you forgot or that's how you didn't have the time to watch the new episode. The ring. I had the time. It was a very short window.
But I didn't want to. Yeah. We'll give you the break. Since we don't want to spoil it for you.
I know you'll you'll check out. But just your thoughts on last episode. Last week episode for Elders is where we got some bombadeel finally in live action. We got more with the hard foods.
The stores came and our favorite elf around there. And it seemed on the adventure. I hate the yos so much. I think the show still hasn't hooked me.
I got it. I still enjoy it. I look forward to watching the next episode. But yeah, I'm still like not like they're there with it.
It still looks great. It's still entertaining to watch. It's not like I'm watching it because I have to watch it for the show. I would still watch it if I wasn't discussing it.
But I don't know. I think I'm missing a little bit of hump. But for example, that that's what's with the got Adriel and her crew and at the end. Elrond being like, oh, she didn't do it to save us.
You did it to save the ring. Oh, yeah. So, so yeah, I'm still liking it. Yeah.
Yeah. I mean, I mentioned last time we talked about it. Like the Eladio and Ron thing is my favorite of the whole show. And last week was great.
They're seen so great when they reached the broken bridge and cannot decide which where are they going and the different visions of how to go through it. And they cancel from that ring. More debt is going to come. It's still me.
And as much as Elrond hates the ring, he will still save or do whatever he needs for Galadio and vice versa. So I just love that relationship that they go total over. They still love each other so much. I love Tambam Balio.
I want to get more with him. Hopefully we'll show him next week. That was a super fun sequence. I was like, oh, who are you talking to?
You're the only person here. Yeah. You're the only person here. It's the river door.
And we got the ends and the end white with winter blue and snaggle route. That was a pretty nice thing also for around there to have to make amends for that tree that had to cut down. In a distant one. Yeah.
All right. If you need to check out before I leave, I want to mention quickly. How do you feel about all the maybe tidbits we're getting on the Lord of the Rings movie, the, the golden one? I know it's not enough.
So it just goes in my cancer, there's two movies. Some people freaking out. Are you making two movies out of this? Let me see something.
I love this world. I want to see it. I wasn't 100% like, yeah, like give me another movie special about the Hanford golem. I haven't read this already.
I know there's parts of it out there. I don't know. I don't know enough about it to have an opinion at this point, but I'll watch it. No, and it's okay.
It's a good director. It's not the greatest out there. But if he's a golem movie and in this world, and he was a second unit director for the hobby, say what you want about those movie. We thought he had about why those movies are not the way that they did.
He's got more experience now directing. So I'll give it a shot. Okay. Okay.
Okay. Bye guys. I'll check out the show and be ready. If you have any questions again for stealing bar so many if you can this weekend.
For what? For stealing bar. The author, the glass of waste. You have questions.
Send them to me. That's fine. It's maybe some nice window questions. All right.
We'll talk to you later on. Thanks for being here. All right guys. So as we go, let me check.
So Greg is in love with when I hate a character because he's good and the character has been developed really well. If I hate the character because he makes them sound that's much different. I do understand. I 100% agree.
There's a character in this episode or in this series during so far that I hate so much. We'll talk about him. You know what I mean? It's called Kevin.
Anyway guys, we're talking rings of power. Episode five, if you have a chance to watch it or if you don't care, stay here. If you want to watch it later, then go watch and come back. We're going to be talking spoilers about it.
We'll be quick. Excuse me. So, whole song is this. It's a brief episode.
We're already passed halfway point. All the three episodes left. It's a bummer that we got those three episodes dropped at the beginning of the season because it's gone so fast. It's been three weeks.
We already have only three episodes to go. I wish that we just do one episode drop so they can stretch the stories longer because it feels like everything's been jam-packed. It's because we only have five, three episodes so far, but it's been five hours of story. So, it's really been developed.
We just kind of feel a little bit rushed on it. But apart from the conventional love everything with Yaladir, with Elrun, everything happening with the elves and everything with the strangers. So, my favorite part and my other part is Kalebrin Boor, Hellbrandt now, Anatar. And this episode is full on, Anatar, manipulating, Sauron, manipulating everyone masterfully.
And I love those things. He's kind of thanks Greg. Thanks, love that you're here. Love that you love and show.
So, I'll blow cash off next week. We'll come back next time. So, thanks, Greg. Take care.
So, it starts with Kalebrin Boor, given this speech of the elves. We made these great rings for the dwarves. Everything's great. And Anatar is there.
Kind of like, did I speak too much? Did I say too much? Yeah, I told you to stay less. We're not there yet.
I said, well, sure. It's this old Maric couple about giving praise to one another. Just keeping things quite. So, I love that relationship.
And then the conversation, because Anatar mentioned last time and he mentioned, he's really pushing this and this rings for men. We need to make rings for men because they're the ones that really suffer. We leave middle earth and we only help the elves and the dwarves in men are the ones that are going to suffer. I've been to Newman or I know how great they can be, but there's also this incident and there's things happening there that we need to help.
And Kalebrin was like, a lot of the problems that the humans have, it's brought on by their own. This is their fault. They're too corrupt to what we really can keep in this power. And I understand, but we'll just, we'll pick the best.
We'll pick the best. And you're right. We'll pick the best. We'll pick nine.
And nine kingdoms out there. We'll treat them. I love how he goes through all the names of the great men from the past. And all these names are from the Maryland.
I'm just bearing one of the greatest out there. And then Kalebrin is like, do sorry, we can't. I'm not going to do it. Yeah, you're right.
I'll do it myself. I like, there he goes. And he starts working on them by himself again, manipulating everyone. They create by mistake this invisible ring that Bumudania wears and she's just going crazy.
They know what's happening. She visits and starts to when Kalebrin takes the ring off about visiting this unseen world, this underworld. And the shadow covered in flames and everyone is dying. Similar to a vision that King Gala, Gagala, when he presses on that ring and he sees all the day, and he's out on there, the armored.
I envision this unseen world, which is, it's Sorrows. And she says, oh, this power, this darkness here is being here all along. She's talking about Sorrows. He turns that to blame Kalebrin board on her eyes to start again this manipulation, this descent from that helps to maybe keep away from what Kalebrin board is saying and follow him or Kalebrin board is under too much pressure and we need to help him at the end.
We start sewing those seeds and then we're talking to her later and bring some Gala, the way the light from the sun where her shine so your hair you just resemble Lady Gala, and she's like, oh, Lady Gala, that was great. And when Kalebrin was, oh, what did you did wrong? Was this ring not working? Were you really as masterful as perfect as you were before?
That's when we're talking about the the dwarven rings. But again, it's Anatar manipulating. He's not there in his Kalebrin board and he's, oh, at least he was at one word of, you have one word of council that you can just tell us one thing. He's glad about to do it when he gets interrupted.
But he knows he knows he's got him in the hook. It's that way, even though I love Halbrin, I miss Halbrin. But I love that we're saying this version of Sorrows and Anatars, a lot of gifts. We're just being the great manipulator that Sorrows always is.
And even though Sorrows and Bremors, you might be great at crafting rings or master crafter. You're not seeing where people are manipulating elements. You're not seeing where people are manipulating you. Talk about the dwarfs and all that stuff.
And it's him doing it. So it's kind of throwing what he's doing in their face and then just playing it backwards. So I love seeing all that. Before that we get a call, shout out to the Lord of rings with that.
There was a door in, of course, speak friend and enter. We see that door is there. How they were so a little call back or call forward if we want Easterite out there. And when they talk about the struggle in the kingdom, I mean, trouble in the mines, throwing the mountains, skinned dorings corrupted by the ring already, using it to find where to dig, telling people they need to pay ring tribute.
If he's going to give the other six rings to the other dwarven lords, they need to give him half of their profits. So this ring has really corrupted him the way he reacts to the other, the dwarf master that makes all that. What did he do? I forgot the name of the other dwarf.
And that scene where he's like, notice that he doesn't have the ring. I saw she went crazy, almost like Bilbo in the real movie. I watched my ring, well, you took it. No, sir, you took it off.
It's right there. You say, what's heavy on your head? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're already messing up with his mind.
But then during goes to Calabrian, what's happening is that the rings are corrupting his father. There's something wrong with them. He's not enough. They're perfect.
We did in the same way. And during is like, okay. But it's the guy that did it, he did something different talking about Anator. And that's when Calabrian, but he did something different.
He said, no, I didn't. We did. Like that letter that I made you send, he doesn't say that what he made. Calabrian boy sent that letter to the gal.
I was like, I'm saying that they were going to shut down the forge. Don't do anything else. So we got to do it our own. You lied on your letter to the gal that sent that you have finished.
They weren't doing anything else. So we put that line to it. We corrupted it. So that's then bringing that problem to the ring.
So we need to fix it. And the only way to fix the problem that we did for the oven, for the dwarven rings is by making these nine rings for men for a fictional victory and then somehow fix the corruption of the seven, which is a big thing. And then we got the seven, which is a great female. It's something great to think about.
