S9E9: Our Response to the Crown of Thorns

Today's Daily Decade, on the Feast of St. Ursula and her companions, offers prayers for Keigh, Nordisk Amerikaner, and Robert, all of whom are suffering with back injuries incurred through heavy activity. Today's prayer is the prayer for the sick, for their speedy and perfect healing. Today's reflection is on the Crown of Thorns, and what it reflects in Pilate and in the mob who remained unmoved at the sight of the beaten, humiliated Christ. We may regard Christ crowned with thorns with pity in the moment, but do we take pity on Him in our lives by lessening the sins with which He is burdened?
