Sabbath Rest | Jason Elsmore
from Gateway Mackenzie Campus Hosted by Gateway Mackenzie Campus
The rest of your life depends on the rest in your life! This episode of Rhythms of Grace focuses on sabbath rest, why it's important and how to do it. We're looking at spiritual practices for every day as we read from Matthew 11:28 Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Jesus says "Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly." (Matt 11:28 MSG). Are you resting in rhythms of grace? What are the spiritual practices? Are your daily rhythms helping you to flourish in life? As we look at Jesus and the Bible, we can see some rhythms that He models that help us all practice rhythms of grace. Join us us we learn and explore the unforced rhythms of grace that we are invited into ______ Gateway Baptist Church meets across five locations in South-East Queensland and also online.
