Sabres Take Game 1 Over Canadiens & Ducks Tie Up Series

SiriusXM Morning Skate with Scott Laughlin, Gord Stellick & Tyler Madarasz   The Buffalo Sabres grabbed a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Second Round with a 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens at KeyBank Center. Josh Doan and Ryan McLeod each recorded a goal and an assist, Zach Benson added two assists, and Alex Lyon stopped 26 shots as Buffalo continued its breakout playoff run. Out West, the Anaheim Ducks evened their second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights with a 3-1 victory in Game 2. Beckett Sennecke, Leo Carlsson, and Jansen Harkins scored for Anaheim, while Lukas Dostal turned aside 21 shots in a strong performance between the pipes.
