Sacrafices Will Be Made

During the first recording of the New Year, Iimani and Justin discuss if they have been Reckless or Cultured so far in 2021 (1:26) before talking about how they spent NYE (6:48). Unwarranted Facetime calls to start the New Year for Justin sparked the “Don’t FT me to find out who I’m with” convo (10:45). Iimani says don’t get out of pocket with Facetiming in 2021, stay in your lane (14:30). Speaking of staying in your lane... Donnie has been banned from every lane, except Onlyfans (15:23). Iimani and Justin speak on the 2021 U.S. Capitol riots (16:16), and staying out of white people’s business (19:21). Who else feels like we are still in 2020 at this point (19:55)? A HUGE shout-out to ATL (22:33), and in the words of Iimani “I hope they send that 2k stimmy!” (24:07). Iimani talks about looking forward to 2021 despite it all (26:19), and her desires to dive into black ideology; learning the history of people who influence black literature, black music, how we think, and keeping the dollar in our community (27:50). Sacrifices need to be made. We only need to do business with people who truly believe we are valuable (34:09), and stop funding our oppression. Will 2021 be Reckless, or Cultured? Justin and Iimani talk plans for first in-person recording to wrap the first show of the New Year (45:40).
