Sacramento Fire Claims Pets and Home | Las Vegas News

A fast-moving fire erupted on North Sacramento Drive, engulfing two homes and claiming the lives of three cats and a dog — including a beloved puppy lost when stairs collapsed as its mom raced back for it. A 15-year-old spotted the blaze while making lunch and helped his family escape safely. One person was hospitalized, and a firefighter received precautionary care. The family now faces homelessness after losing all their belongings — clothes, furniture, and school supplies. An online fundraiser is underway to help them rebuild. Authorities are investigating the cause, which began with a truck parked under a staircase. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
