“SACRIFICE”

Yeah We bet we bet the nation kind of janky. We're seeing we got together now But I really want to talk about sacrifice and make our sacrifices Typically because I've been very concerned with my community in particular when it comes down to making sacrifices and understanding sacrifices and One thing I noticed I'm like first I want to start with health because that's a big that's a big thing Like you know, I like to work out I like to get in these four four or five times a week in the gym and I stand in the gym from like Two to three hours. So three hours just based on my resume. I'm just in a two to three hours on top everything else I got going on so but and people want to know How many to do that and stuff like that?

But I'm like man I gotta make sacrifices like some things are just not as important as others like people got time people say they want to fool They help in our community in particular, but they got they don't have time to go to the job They got time to go to the club and do unhealthy things Like drink smoke be around basically like a real toxic environment and I'm very concerned with Just health and Because people are dying people are being praised for being more of the obese Yeah, and we just lost We had complications with itself while standing and you know what? I just want to take on before I Say like just unhealthy things are being promoted in our neighborhoods and in our communities Oh What should I take on it? What should I take on a sacrifice and people with a sacrifice? I mean, there's a lot of sacrifice and you know that you have to make it like if you would like to improve you like Oh, I'm not gonna say that I'm like a hundred percent like I helped guru, but I am definitely into natural products and things that are not toxic You know, I think like that I would love to go into the three hours at this point And like I just really don't have the time but I do try to watch the things that I eat and the things that I do But I really don't know what to excuse.

I don't know if it's glorified, but it's definitely Much more accessible in the black community unhealthy things we have corn stores You will not find those things in other neighborhoods Those corn stores apply alcohol tobacco fried food snacks, but you hardly see like fresh fruit, you know fresh vegetables Things that are good for you in those places Yeah, that's all they agree, but I just I mean like, you know, when people say they want without me I'm like, okay, but you understand this is what I do. I don't like any distractions are very focused, you know And I see that and then I ask them They think it's always there in the job of two or three hours. I can't do that But you stay in the closet for two to three hours, but they're not in the closet throughout the day, right? Probably not a day, but you will make a sacrifice to do that You get what I'm saying?

Just even if I think if you just try to stay in the closet for two or three hours one day It's a waste of time because I'm like I'm at the point about like well You will see the point even go to the club because nobody socialize with nobody no business No business gets done in the club. You just go to the drink and hear music and dance with yourself You know So they just go around and just go to the club and always at all and people I'm saying like people priorities. You are not willing to sacrifice bad habits in order to get good habits and Not sacrificing Sacrifice Correct You know I sent a text to you a few days ago They know you can't and the sacrifice is very hard But I'm on the goo and on the mission to make this happen. So I thought what I don't you know some people have things too easy And they don't understand Sacrificing all you do not want to do it or just not talk it explain it so just Right Someone if I'm someone who just for example that okay my credit for with 800 right and I'm sitting next to somebody in there For the four fifty and they say well, you know, I want my friend to be a hundred and then I tell them all the things that I've done Is sacrifice I make these things happen and then you give them the plan and give them the map but then They don't follow through What do you think that is why do you think people will say like It's like your credit scores for today that person's 800 and trying to give you advice It's just like me sitting next to me and they're right or be in there And I want to become a monster me and I'm what I'm being there and listen I'm just a blueprint is what you gotta go through and I go I gotta go to all this shit and I go no Don't know financially where I want to be a steal and they give me the blueprint Why do you think that is right?

I think people think everything is a gimmick and it's they feel like you just couldn't have done all this Because I didn't see you do it. I didn't hear you do it. So you couldn't have did it So it's like even if it's something if they didn't see it didn't happen Some people like to struggle alone. I'm a person of if I'm getting something done.

I prefer to do it in silence So just because I do it in silence doesn't mean that I didn't do it So everything that you do you have to put effort and sacrifice behind those things and people just do not believe I don't know they think they wake up and it just happens like that or Do they feel like it's not impossible to accomplish So do you think like with the age of social media like Instagram Twitter Facebook if you're not posting it Then people believe that you're not really out there doing a work or you're not out there. Yeah, I think that everybody just believes everything is on social media Like if it did not post it didn't happen And I'm like holy come I went on a trip to the end I think last week able to have weekend and nobody believes that I went And also like the beach pictures and the the water and the picture act and it just didn't happen to them But when you're having fun sometimes you just don't have time to take it It wasn't even a fun trip for me. It was a more of a relaxation and a motivation So I'll be photo I don't have somebody I can say hey Can you take 20 pictures of me because I need to post it because everybody needs to know that I was here So What I mean come on if we don't live just like on social media and that's the only way that something happens that you're never gonna accomplish anything Right You're coming I mean Listen every day that I'm going through this sacrifice The inside is crushing me Yes, but I want to make this happen Not only for myself with all those children that it does not come easy whatever it is that you want You got to put something ever behind it right? You have to give up something and I really get something and most of times sometimes it's financial sometimes this relationship You know Sometimes religious because because when I'm realizing is your circle and we talked about this I'm me and jay talk about this as we were Rebuilding your team and building a team again and just your relationship with people is very important But sometimes you got to be able to sacrifice people that's in your relationship because they're not really with you like You know sometimes you hear you always hear a negative voice in your head and sometimes it's not over They put it and sometimes it's the people that surround you like if you say I'm gonna go do this They promise you they will have somebody say well, why you want to do this?

Well change my life to get my life better Well, you know like the work like you live enough no, I'm trying to prove. I don't think you should do it I don't think I can accomplish it. I always got some people that suppose be a father There's not really what you they don't support you like this show or they just wait behind the team to you make it And then they'll be like, oh, I'll switch it over time Absolutely and like total agreeing right now at the year. I'm telling you the year this year is intentionally intentional and re-growing You have to reflect reflect and look at what's going on around you and I'm just speaking like mostly for myself Um, you it's sometimes it's hard to make sacrifices even when it comes to relationships And I'm not speaking like boyfriend girlfriend husband and wife.

I'm speaking of friendship Sometimes I have a tendency to The friendship always too much give it like a pace the pace is are going So we say people use the pressure You kind of normalize the bullshit that you see them do because that's your brain And you know that is not like right and it doesn't fit you and what you're trying to accomplish and you're like Well, that's my friend and I'm a just Talk to him and then we gonna it's gonna be okay But then when that person pull that same situation on you again, what do you do? It's sometimes very hard to do those things especially with a friend with that person a very long time But that's what that's right. She has to be free on sanity mentally If you're not in a good mental place You cannot focus on the things other things that exciting and good great about your life and the things that you should be focused on So I have a question for you because for me at the point of my life and people, you know, they call me very rigid I'm cold. I'm careless.

All the rest of these names, but I'm at the point of my life was very very easy for me to cut people out for God is a friendship regardless of how long I've been going on If I feel like you are holding me up If I feel like you were not supporting me He's for me just to be like fuck you and just don't buy my business and strictly because I have to weigh those losses We're my biggest losses in my life the biggest losses I've had in my life was not funny I told you was my mother my grandmother and my father Right and I lost them within a year of each other and when people don't Ride to the station where I need them to be in my life where I think we should be then it's very very easy for me Just to be like bye and that's what I'm crazy Because that's what I'm becoming and it's scary. It's kind of scary because I have no feelings behind it And I'm not gonna lie to very like why it's not like a while It's like I'm really letting this person go and I have no remorse and I have no feelings to let them come back into my space But it is like where does this emotion come from? Because I'm using that day Like I'm more like a renerturer like oh, I'm gonna fix it Whatever had you know, I'm not even allowed nobody to fix it anymore You know, you know what the situation is you know what you think you got it done Well, I think I think what you're doing is you hold people count See that's where a lot of people don't like a lot of people the issues and you people don't like their word of comedy They don't like somebody holding a comment and that's what I spoke about with you last time on the package being accountable Right, right. No, they all like to worry be on the count of and all the people countable But see the thing is um, and me others tell like a lot of motivational videos before I do anything Like when I get up in the morning, let's get my routine started and I stumbled up on this guy by the name of Daniel He's like a billionaire with other cases and a financial coach and he was like All of the most successful people in the world they got one trading comment and that trade is that that's all basically But I bought a ball buses and he was like I'm not here to be like I'm gonna be efficient and to hold myself accountable And all others accountable around me and I felt that I really felt that I'm here to be like see being like and being like doesn't you know improve you anyways?

Like people you have to step yourself for yourself and you can't just um step yourself and be um Be a different person with different people and I noticed that within my um While working on my masters in my um in a mental health field They were like we all wear different masks around different people when we're around our family work on the different We're gonna run our own many partners. We're gonna different masks and I had to ask myself Why do we wear different masks with all these people and I know what the thing is one thing is we don't want to be judged Right and another thing is that we want to be able to Satisfy whatever somebody else thinks that they like like pretenders instead of just really just being ourselves But now I'm like I just took all those messages and just threw them away and I'm like look at some people who I am Or you could just get the fuck because Because in the grand scheme of things are you really that important to me and what I'm trying to do Are you lifting me up or are you holding me back? Right absolutely That's definitely should be that should definitely be answer questions Now like if you're looking at you're gonna help me improve or you're gonna help me be a better me that was the purpose of you being here Right And then I was then I had to ask myself to we talk about romantic relationships That's about our magic relationships again for a minute not again before a minute. Uh, we talk about romantic relationships What do you think is one of the reasons why people don't really I mean like A romantic relationship long term now as well like six months Absolutely do people really say to God anymore.

Why do you think people can uh get away from being with each other? For a long time I to be honest with you. I don't really know what the answer to that question is because that is a question that I'm asking myself Um, but I do realize that um, I always go back to the internet situation A lot of things are exposed via these applications that we use on the other bases Whether before this is our personal personal use. Um, people believe everything that they see Um, and it's a good and bad thing if you're using it in the correct way, but in relationships.

I have noticed that that one thing It just it is one relationship. I just do not understand you could be something on the internet and it's just like super funny to you And you can repost it Somebody's gonna think you're talking about them When it's just like joking Um, people tend to bring up other people's paths when they see you guys together Oh such and such is the next one. Oh, he used to do this. He used to do that and they still talk on the phone Before the internet or these I'm gonna say like Facebook and Instagram was popular Relations is less it much longer It's too much accessibility too much availability and it just takes away All the things that you should learn about the person while you're with them Because people take folks narratives about people some people just have bad intentions Even when you go like on the celebrity post they have these Millions of people that just sit there all day in this time and negative negative stuff all day And they live like that.

That's what they do They have people that do that to people's relationships Um, they have people that do that for fun but just to be mean just because they don't want you with their person and Women tend to believe everything that they see about their significant others and do the same thing When before things was a mystery and it was things that you were intrigued about and you wanted to learn more about but You take that that away when you believe everything someone says via internet Yeah, like I think one of the major problems was um, what's that? Instagram thing that they took away. They're like Oh, the light got like kind of the the way the lights The lights never something like a notification for you like somebody else post. Oh, I thought that would definitely be great That was more to get away.

I thought so how long ago you was on saying I think that's great. That's gone I like the going down. Yeah, I like that. I'm really free now, but I mean like, you know, it just it gets tired of some um, I think the last um situation I was in like Oh, they was I'm not gonna say no no, but I was whole there was Hey, um, I sent you on Instagram.

You could be using that time to call me and I'm taking it myself Uh, no, I'm using my time. I want to use my time. Uh, I'm gonna need you to chill out You know, it's just like their social media like so where it's like the point where people are spending most of the time Not really trying to get to know you but they want to investigate to absolutely And to you know, just to be knows and see what you're like and see what you're coming up. Oh, I text you I saw you on Instagram two minutes ago, but you can't take me back.

Yeah. Yeah, just a bit Okay, so the thing I was on Instagram for my little but I asked people my phone down I walked away from it. I didn't grow a life without my phone I'm sorry. I didn't see your text message But because you were on this absolute musical it's triggering.

Oh, you don't have anything business going because you can't answer because you was just on Instagram Right It's so irritating But once again people now willing to sacrifice social media and I will even just want to Or just to sacrifice their own insecurities for the sake of a relationship It's it's hard. It's very hard I think the longest situation that I've ever been in is someone that I did not allow to follow me on Instagram And then the issue became why we can't file each other your hiding something So I don't understand what the obsession with this. I act like I literally just close Funny stuff something I think that it's funny. It's nothing.

Have anything to do with anything. It's just something that I think is funny So I'm not sure what you're looking for and then when I was in the following me, it's like what who are you talking about? What's your mean? You put my personal business out there?

Um, I wasn't talking about you. I just thought it was funny So then now you have to become somebody you're not to make this person comfortable And it's draining I don't think people realize that people very very very very very Suck of fashion and security for the sake of relationships. Oh, this one is just what it's taking yourself Suck of fashion and security mental health Yeah, like you gotta be aware of this Well, you know, again, we don't know how to sacrifice. We don't know what's really important And that's the issue that's the situation and that's why we discuss it is nobody wants to make the sacrifice My goodness.

She's the point of central fine black woman Beyonce you will never have them put um rosanne in a magazine next to Beyonce Or somebody that's big and overweight you will never see those two in a magazine together side by side But they will put lizzo up against all of their thinner white women in a magazine and try to celebrate her because they don't look at her as Black woman. They look at her as a black man.

When the hell is Nick's tonight coming back on? Honestly, I found myself that I was not going to put a date on it anymore. That's a simple goal. Because everything that I have put in place has questions.

But I am making sacrifices to make this everything that I want to be. Whether I have to do it all on my own. I'm going to make this happen. I'm going to make this happen to the best of my abilities.

And I'm making big sacrifices to make big things happen from Nick's tonight. All right. I don't know if they want to touch on two as far as making sacrifices. Let me tell you something.

As far as when you're accomplishing your goals, sometimes, and I did this to my own kid the other day, I was able to go to his game. Yeah, some games. He wanted me to be at the basketball game. I wasn't able to go to his games.

And he was like, why? That's what I might have to work. At the challenge, you know, sometimes you've got to make sacrifices. And you're not going to be at home with your kid all the time when you're making those sacrifices.

Sometimes you're going to miss basketball games. You've got to miss recitals. You're going to miss certain things with your kid. I don't live a better life.

I know some people saying, well, money shouldn't be that important. But I'd rather my kid in a future to have some resilience to work with me because I missed the basketball game. I had to live in a better life than I lived. And then I overcame the dream, then, to have them be happy that I was around but struggle through life.

I would rather have my kid resent me a little bit from not being there. Then to have them live a better life, then for them to not resent me and struggle through our life. So with that in regards to that, it regards the personal relationship sometimes, you have to make those type of sacrifices. And you have to have people around you that understand when you're making those sacrifices.

And before, and while I was picking them up from school, I was telling them, I was like, son, you've got to have, that tried to get me to the nuggets every time I see them. I said, son, when you're doing anything, you've got to have gold. You've got to say that I'm most of the conversations today. So when you're in a basketball game, you've got to say I'm less score these many points.

These really mean to rebounds, these many assists, and try your best and your damage to go forward. And I hit them up at this basketball game as well by testing. I said, son, did your commissioner go? No dad, but I went out there and I tried.

And I scored some points. I didn't get all the points I wanted, but I went forward. And it's still ready to your kids as well. Still sacrificing to your kids as well.

And we need to start doing that as a society and things. On a personal note, just to do life as a kid study, I think we need to start doing that as well. That's definitely the struggle that I'm doing right now. Not being with the kids.

Right. And I'm the primary caregiver of the these kids. And they're all very, they're using me being involved in everything. So for the last couple of months, I have not been, and it's been like a dark cloud.

My children call their family meeting on the on the weekend. They want me to be home more and they want to want me to experience the things that I experienced in school with them. Fail trips and come into the school at least once a month to help out. And they miss me at home.

And they put in the little vote in the vote state of that I should put my second up. Well, think about that is you got a veto tower. And nothing is, nothing is. You got something to try to accomplish not just for yourself.

Like, you know, like I always believe in being a strategically selfish. So I have to do who am I after that statement. But I always believe in being strategically selfish. Meaning we may appear on the surface that I'm being selfish and that I'm just doing this for me.

But in the long run, I'm really doing this for us. Absolutely. And that's definitely what I try to explain to them. And you know, I work on it.

You know, it's not one conversation that needs to be had. I have a 15 year old and right now I think it's the prime time. It's like that I do need to be around. But I did explain to him, you know, what the sacrifice is that I understand.

But I'm definitely struggling with, I think, more of who I'm getting real personal. But his mental, what we not being around now, he's becoming everything in the office.
