Sacrifice and sorcery

Sometimes the deepest work of the spirit requires no words from us. He will just work and transform us.This week, Nicholas Kerton-Johnson continues out Acts series with a look into Acts 7-8. He compares Stephen’s sacrifice with Simon the sorcerer asking to buy the power of the Holy Spirit. He prompts us to ask ourselves “where have we resisted God because of pride?” If the filling of the Holy Spirit is free, what excuse do we have to not be filled by Him?
