Bayern Munich officially announced the signing of Senegalese forward Sadio Mane on Wednesday, wrapping up their third signing of the summer transfer window. With one "statement" signing done, Bayern rejected the option to make Cristiano Ronaldo their second massive signing of the summer window, and will instead look elsewhere to replace Robert Lewandowski should he leave Munich this summer.
