Once she became a qualified nurse, she went on to specialise in Oncology and Emergency. With cytotoxic qualifications from the Australia College of Nursing,  she then went on to work in oncology and palliative care. With an inquisitive mind and a passion for understanding pharmacology,  she then went on to study Naturopathy, Nutrition, Western Herbal medicine, and Acupuncture.
