Civil asset forfeiture - a tool used by police to seize property and assume permanent possession of it without convicting, or even charging, the owner criminally. Open Fields Doctrine - allows Natural Resource Police (think Game Warden) to come on YOUR property without a warrant or probable cause. Vehicle Inspection Sticker - forces West Virginians to go to a mechanic to get a sticker so the State Police can get funding. All of these (and more) are sold as "for your safety", but they are really for your infringement of freedom.
