from AM Live on SAfm · host SABC News and Current Affairs
SAfm — The Human Rights Commission says although there has been much improvement in the entrenchment of human rights in South Africa, there is still much inequality. This comment follows the release of the commission's annual report on trends in human rights violations in South Africa. The commission says equality rights violations as well as economic and social rights complaints are what dominated their work in the recent years. The commission says it is happy with the number of human rights cases it has been able to resolve in the past five years. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to HRC Chairperso, Professor Bongani Majola.
