from Discovering Thyself · host Discovering Thyself
This episode is also available as a blog post: https://imnotgoood21blog.wordpress.com/2022/10/20/sailors-delight/ The night is cool, a light breeze displaces the leaves all around, letting them know of the Earth’s breath. The sky, a mixture of red pastel hues, almost a rainbow upon her dome – Sailor’s Delight. In far too little time, life all around will have changed, the night will have gotten darker, and the sky affixed with visible stars. A bright light emerges, round and luminous – the moon. Some nights we forget about its existence, but like our thoughts, it is there. The red pastel sky, now a vision of the past, a delightful record stay affixed – like the stars in the sky – to the deep seed of my mind. And when I recall the sweetness of life, I shall recall the red pastel hue of night, that sweet Sailor’s Delight.
