Send us Fan MailSaint Gertrude the Great is well known in Europe and especially in Helfta, Germany where the Abbey is located. She lived in the 13th century and had a geat devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Like Saint Teresa she received the Transverberation of the Heart.
