Saint James, brother of the Lord

Saint James was one of Jesus' apostles, who by tradition was a relative of Jesus, either a step-brother or a cousin. He was the bishop of Jerusalem in the early church, and wrote the epistle of James, one of the books in the New Testament. He is known for his crucial role in the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15, a meeting of the Christian leaders of the early church that decided that gentile Christians did not have to be circumcised or follow Jewish law. The Christian Saints Podcast is a joint production of Generative sounds & Paradosis Pavilion.
