The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs of Saint Lucia proudly hosted a closing ceremony for the United States Air Force Southern Medical Mission, Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team 2025 (LAMAT-25), marking the fourth U.S. Medical Mission to the island. In collaboration with Taiwan’s highly skilled medical team, this initiative provided critical healthcare services to the people of Saint Lucia from February 25 to March 8, 2025. The closing ceremony, held on March 7, 2025, at the conference room of Sandals Halcyon, welcomed esteemed government and ministry officials from Saint Lucia, the United States, and Taiwan. The event served as a platform to express deep appreciation for the dedication and expertise of the LAMAT-25 team in delivering essential medical assistance to the nation. The Government of Saint Lucia extends its sincere gratitude to the United States and Taiwan for their unwavering commitment to strengthening the country’s healthcare services. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system.
