Every year on November 14, World Diabetes Day serves as a global platform to raise awareness about diabetes. This year, the theme "Diabetes and Well-being" highlights the significance of ensuring that individuals managing diabetes can have healthy and fulfilling lives, with equal opportunities for happiness and well-being. The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs is committed to emphasizing that living with diabetes should not hinder anyone from living life to the fullest. Through proper education, adoption of healthy lifestyle practices, regular monitoring, and adherence to appropriate medication, diabetes can be effectively managed.

The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile.
