Saint Oswald, King and Martyr: A Life of Faith and Leadership

Today we remember Saint Oswald, king and martyr, who ruled Northumbria in the early 7th century. Born around 605, Oswald spent years in exile before returning to reclaim his kingdom and lead his people both politically and spiritually. Saint Oswald is known for his deep Christian faith, his efforts to spread the Gospel through Celtic missionaries, and his generosity to the poor. He died in battle in 642, remembered for his prayerful spirit and the miracles associated with his relics.Support the show
