Saints Draft Wright for Power Run Game

The New Orleans Saints selected Jeremiah Wright, a towering 331-pound right guard from Auburn, in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Known for his dominant performance at the Senior Bowl, Wright is expected to challenge Cesar Ruiz for the starting spot. Despite his late start in football, Wrights competitive spirit and unique path make him a promising addition to the Saints line. The teams decision to potentially trade Ruiz could intensify the competition at right guard, setting the stage for a fierce battle in training camp.
