Saints Without Kamara and Jordan | New Orleans Saints News

The New Orleans Saints face a tough Week One opener against the Detroit Lions without star running back Alvin Kamara, sidelined by an MCL sprain despite full practice — a move that signals his unavailability and hints at strategic adjustments. Veteran defensive end Cam Jordan is also inactive, further weakening a defense already facing a potent Lions offense led by Jahmyr Gibbs. With six other players ruled out, the Saints’ chances for an upset are diminished, but they’ll need to adapt quickly as injuries reshape their game plan.
