Salomé Sessions Vol.2 - Digging in Chris’s Vinyl Collection and creating 4 Songs with Musicians in 48hrs.

The general vinyl selection of this episode is Indie/Emo/Post Hardcore. This broadcast was recorded the week end of 24/25 May 2025 in Salomé, Northern France. We went to a friend's place with musicians and created and recorded 4 tracks over the week end in his little studio. Some friends joined us very late on the Saturday, after a gig they played nearby. They participated in different ways on the Sunday. We only took the turntables and no records along and created the playlist by digging vinyl in the large collection of our friend. There is an interview presenting the project after the 4 tracks, to practice your French. The broadcast follows the usual mixtape format, like when we welcome bands at the radio studio.First 30 minutes: Naki selects music in Chris collectionHOLE - Credit in the straight worldKURT - Tricks on dancingFEVERDREAM - Digit-Span?REIZIGER - Grab and nailedQUICKSPACE - They shoot horse don't theyAT THE DRIVE-IN - Invalid litter dept.90 DAY MEN - I've got designs on you Next 20: Chris plays some tracks from his collectionSQUID - Swing (in a dream)HEY COLOSSUS - Sisters and brothersIT IT ANITA - Crippling guiltThen we play the 4 tracks. Then we chat around the project for 10 minutes (this was recorded on the Sunday evening before we went home)Chris playsEMMA RUTH RUNDLE - Shadows of my nameTRUE WIDOW - TheurgistBRUTUS - VictoriaGOUGE AWAY - NewtauThen Guillaume finishes the broadcast with another selection from Chris's collectionSEBADOH - DecideNATIVE NOD - AnswersGIRLS AGAINST BOYS - Super-fireBERLINE 0.33 - SocialiteRODRIGUEZ - Sugar manPUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED - Religion IIL7 - WargasmWARPAINT - Love is to dieThen we say goodbye thanking everything and everyone. Some presentations were recorded later. We hope you like this broadcast because we worked a lot on this.If you like us:Like "My Favourite Everything Radio - RCV99" for more news and music !
