Salt & Light: Left & Right Pt. 4 - Knees

When another election cycle comes around, it is tempting to hide our light or lose our saltiness because we adopt the ways of our culture (arguing, demonizing, blaming, justifying). This series is all about maintaining our salt and light regardless if we lean left, middle, apathetic, or right. When we don't put on humility we put off others. Matthew 5:13-14 NIV - 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Colossians 3:12 NLT - 12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Micah 6:8 NIV - 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
