Volunteered with the YWCA in working with domestic violence victims at their safe houses.  Held weekly meetings at Grace House Homeless Shelter for Men Was an active minister for sixteen years. Currently completed training to be a chaplain. Presently speaks at seminars and women groups.  Self-published a book of poetry in 2020 entitled, "Destiny, Called My Name"  Mother of one son and two grandchildren.
