Salvation Meeting (04) - Easter Sunday - 12th April, 2020

We have heard it claimed by some that 'Easter has been cancelled this year' - not so! The message of Easter is more relevant that ever in this time of sadness, worry, tragedy and devastation... Throughout the world we are in the grip of a dreadful pandemic. The COVID-19 virus is wreaking havoc with the day to lives of countless millions of people. One of the consequences is the fact that we cannot, for the time being, meet in worship in our churches and Salvation Army corps. So FORTRESS RADIO has stepped in to provide two 'meetings' each Sunday at least for the duration of the curfews and lockdowns. I am pleased to be preparing the evening - or Salvation Meeting each week and the fourth of these has just been broadcast this evening. Tonight, especially for Easter Sunday our Bible message is brought to us by Commissioner Keith Banks. I am sharing the meeting here so people can listen again if they wish or hear it in places where Fortress Radio is unavailable.
