Salvation Meeting (06) - Sunday 26th April, 2020

Thomas the disciple is famous for doubting the Lord's resurrection - but would we have been more easily persuaded than he? That is the theme of this, the 6th weekly Salvation Meeting I have made for Fortress Radio. Thomas, after his failing, served God wonderfully for many years before his own martyrdom - will people see 'the marks of Jesus' in us? Throughout the world we are in the grip of a dreadful pandemic. The COVID-19 virus is wreaking havoc with the day to lives of countless millions of people. One of the consequences is the fact that we cannot, for the time being, meet in worship in our churches and Salvation Army corps. So FORTRESS RADIO has stepped in to provide two 'meetings' each Sunday at least for the duration of the curfews and lockdowns. I am pleased to be preparing the evening - or Salvation Meeting each week and the sixth of these has just been broadcast this evening. This is the meeting as it was broadcast. I am sharing the meeting here so people can listen again if they wish or hear it in places where Fortress Radio is unavailable.
