There are many things that happen in a person's life that seem pre-determined. Perhaps there is even an argument that all life is pre-determined. If this is so, then how does self-awareness and even this self-enquiry fit in? Slanderhour has a lot in common with my rival Sam Harris. We both claim to be truth sayers. We both have spent the last few months in LA on retreat. Most importantly, though, we both despise each other.
