A San Jose native, Medina reconnected with his future wife, Athena Rodriguez, on Facebook in 2009 and started doing stand-up with her shortly after that. Now the two of them run the Hypothetical Comedy Network, which has been a fantastic tool for comedians to connect with each other during the pandemic.
