Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has disclosed that Ghana spent GH¢49.72 million to evacuate 1,964 Ghanaians from South Africa following renewed xenophobic attacks and security concerns.Ablakwa revealed that GH¢38.84 million was spent on flights, transportation, feeding, accommodation, medical care and other evacuation-related expenses, while GH¢10.8 million went into reintegration and transportation allowances.Support the show
