Sam Rogers, Gravity Industries

from That Engineering Chat

In this week’s episode of That Engineering Chat, Nicole is joined by Sam Rogers, Test Pilot and Design Lead at Gravity Industries for an extra special EDS Reconnect episode! Gravity Industries designs builds and flies Jet Suits, pioneering a new era of human flight. The company was founded in March 2017 by Richard Browning to challenge the perceived boundaries in human aviation and to inspire others to dare to ask “What if?”. It now scales towards an International Race Series. Sam is a real-life rocket man and shares details about what it takes to not only design these suits, but also to fly them! You can have a go at human flight for yourself by visiting their test center at Goodwood Estate, Chichester – about 90 minutes from London. Tune in for a very exciting episode where you’re sure to learn something new!
