They’ve got lobster on their mind!  Sam Smith is a BRIT Award, Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar-winning singer and songwriter. They join us ahead of the release of their new album, Hazel Eyes, which is released on 21 August and features their new single, My Guy. But first, it’s time for the long-awaited debut of lobster on Dish, the perfect star ingredient for a guest who once had aspirations to be a fishmonger, and also ideal to help Angela through a small hangover.  Sam lives in New York with their partner Christian, and tells us about the impact the move has had on their tastebuds and their capacity to handle heat. They’ve also recently started a food blog on Instagram, SamServed, where you can get a glimpse of their favourite dishes including fish and chips, peanut butter and chicken wings. Another favourite is turnip cake, which tastes so good, Sam had it tattooed on their body.   We start with caviar on crisps and ice cold Waitrose Blanc de Noirs Champagne, before Angela serves up lobster rolls with lemon & dill. The Waitrose wine experts paired this meal with a bottle of Famille Brocard Organic Chablis 2025 Burgundy.  Sam loves food (even more than music) and tells us about the addictive joys of touring, where they can combine both passions.
