Samantha Kelley | You Are More Than

This week on Living the Call, Deacon Charlie talks with Samantha Kelley, the Founder and President of FIERCE Athlete Inc., an organization devoted to promoting true femininity in sport. Samantha played Division 1 Soccer and is currently involved in competitive rowing. She graduated with a Masters in Catholic Psychology and is pursuing Certification in Strength & Conditioning and Theology of the Body.Deacon and Samantha discuss the importance of “identity”, and ways to be leaven for the world in every sphere of our lives. They dive into issues athletes today face such as same sex attraction, spiritual warfare, and pressure to perform.  It was through the teachings of Theology of the Body and the Catholic Church that Samantha discovered what it means to be both feminine and athletic. These teachings have the power to heal and through FIERCE Athlete she desires to share those truths with female athletes across the world.
